A charming and delightful read! I really enjoyed the messages behind this short story. It's definitely an important book that all children should read and will benefit from. The lively and vibrant illustrations are wonderful as well.

*I received an ARC from #NetGalley for my honest opinion*

This book will teach young kids that kindness in the world comes from the inside. I liked how the book flowed, and hit everything on how we as individuals can be kind to one another. Teaching kindness is what this world really needs, because it looks like it may have went out of style.

The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because of the artwork. It wasn't really interesting to me as an adult, maybe if it was drawn out. But over all, it was a nice book.

I loved that this book had a list of discussion questions to talk about in the beginning!! The illustrations of the people were a little off/strange, but the overall message of this book was really lovely. It encouraged being kind and compassionate to people different than ourselves. For example, one child complimented another child's hearing aids. This book also emphasized loving yourself too, which I think is an important lesson to start teaching children from a young age.

Great little book. It would be fantastic to read with my year 3's. Great message, beautiful illustrations and a very positive way to reinforce kindness in children.
