This book is an absolute wealth of knowledge. From the foundations of veganism to breaking down the different food groups, where you can get nutrients from what foods, and how to get the best of of a vegan diet to make you feel your best.

It starts with a few chapters explaining health and a vegan diet as well as the benefits and importance of many foods. It goes into a lot of detail and depth of all sorts of different foods and it was incredibly informative. Even if you’re a life long vegan, there’s still a lot you can learn from this book. And it would be a great read for all those that are new, curious or want to know more about veganism.

There’s tips for healthy diets, explaining macronutrients, salt & sugar and rules to live by. If you’re looking for a jam packed full of recipes then this one may not be the one for you as it’s filled with a lot of (although great) science of nutrition and there’s plenty of writing with the odd great recipe thrown in.

There’s some delicious looking food in here too, although I had thought they’d be a little simpler and some may not be great for a time crunched and money saving student like me! But absolutely delightful and I’d definitely cook more of these if I had the time and ingredients.

A great book for new and experienced vegans, with a lot of great tips, knowledge and information altogether in this neat little guide.
