Please note that this book is not for me - I have read the book, However I had to DNF and because i do not like to give negative reviews I will not review this book fully - there is no specific reason for not liking this book. I found it a struggle to read and did not enjoy trying to force myself to read this book.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for the opportunity to read this book

Thank you Amelie Wen Zhao, Harper Collins UK and NetGalley for an arc copy of Crimson Reign in exchange for an honest review

Omg!! Omg! Omg! Omg! What an incredible conclusion to an amazing series.

We jump straight in from where we left off. Amelie’s classic beautifully descriptive writing style draws you in and let’s your imagination run wild, allowing the reader to easily visualise everything.

Right from the start we had action and emotions. I was fully invested

We follow the characters on an epic adventure across three different countries. What I love about this series is how deep, rich and unique the different countries are. You can tell Amelie took the time to think about this world and what the difference cultures and traditions those different countries would have. It felt real and lived.

The characters were all amazing and complex. I’ve grown to care for all of the characters as individuals.

Ana and Ramson are my favourite fantasy couple. The romance was plotted perfectly. The perfect amount of angst and emotion. I couldn’t get enough.

I loved everything about this conclusion. I finished it in and day and just couldn’t stop reading.

This book induced so many emotions out of me, and I have to say Amelie knows how to write incredibly complex characters and amazingly emotive stories.

I’m so sad that the adventure is over. This is definitely going to give me a book hangover and this is one of my favourite series of all time.

Gooo! Read! It! Now! Start this epic adventure now.
