What a wonderful story...this could have been!
From an incredible struggle from Singapore across the water to Papua New Guinea during World War II, the book does not then flow in to a real adventure. I wanted more of our hero's background and fighting/hiding in the jungle with some confusing storylines.
Not for me. I'm afraid.
