I chose this book for my 4 year old Grandson who loves Superheroes. I am very impressed with this story. The explanation of Bruce Wayne and Batman is very good. It then describes in detail all the other characters in the series, including the Justice League. I thoroughly recommend this book and will be looking at purchasing more similar. My Grandson starts school soon and these are ideal for early readers.

I think as a paperback book my boy will reach for it many many times and I will definitely be purchasing this for him

For early readers who have had their eyes light up by Batman cartoons, perhaps, this My First Encyclopaedia about all things Bats is very good – the heroes, the vehicles, the enemies, the insider information all Batfans should know and love, brought to us very succinctly to absorb whatever our reading ability. It's generally a couple of sentences writ large on one page with the relevant image on the one facing, and the art quality is just as good and canon as the real DC output, if not more so. Four and a half Batarangs.
