I have not read all the books in this series, but have dipped in an out. I do enjoy the plot of the books I have read although can find the lead character a bit annoying! Old characters return in this book which is always a treat! A good twist that I did not see coming.

I love the DI Look Stone series. It was recommended to me originally from a Facebook group and has easily become my must-buy. This newest installment did not disappoint. It's easy for a long running series to get over done, labored or even silly but I'm happy to say, this hasn't been an issue here. Each book is as good it not better than the first. Grab this for a page turning, read all night police procedural with intelligent, real characters and an ending you will not see coming

DI Kim Stone is back 🎉 I get so excited for a new instalment and the latest didn’t disappoint 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

15 books in, and Angela Marsons still manages to keep it all so fresh. A new engrossing case that will just have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out all the pieces 🧩 and our usual fun, quirky team at the centre of it all. I just LOVE all the characters!

If I had to sum up in 3 words: Twisted, Thrilling and Fast paced!

This is only the Second Angela Marsons Book I have read. I have no idea why as this is Book 15 in the Kim Stone series and is really gripping. Once you start reading it's hard to put it down. The story has you intrigued throughout, with an ending that I certainly didn't see coming.

This is book 15 in the series and the third book I have read, and yes I need to go back and read them all as the ones I have read are fantastic!
This one is yet another amazing story where the characters and further developed and previous characters have returned.
Steven harte comes into the station to supply information on a girl who went missing 25 years ago, Kim Stone knows something is off with him and she knows he did it all. Several girls have gone missing over the years and one right now. Kim needs to find her before it is too late.
There are many twists and turns in the story it definitely keeps you interested the whole time.
Alongside the main story there is another storyline going on about Alex Thorne, a nemesis of Kim Stone. I feel like this storyline is setting up the next book and I can't wait to find out what happens.
I cannot recommend this series enough, the books I've read have all been fantastic. I need to get them all as I don't think I would be disappointed at all.

Book 15! An incredible read . This series is still as fresh as ever. I've given up on many series before now because of the sameness but this Kim Stone series is never stale or samey. Stolen Ones just proves that point as a very different scenario presents itself. This investigation involves missing beautiful young girls, past and present. The team are a very important part of this series its not just about Kim Stone , there's Bryant, Stacey and Penn with Alison reappearing as profiler. Also reappearing is Alexandra Thorne , if ever there was a fictional character to hate , then she is top of my list. Looking forward to book 16

This is the fifteenth in the D.I. Kim Stone series and the first one I have read. I am sorry that I haven’t read any of the others because I think I would have enjoyed this one more had I. The characters are well known to fans of this series, but I didn’t feel they were at all developed reading it as a standalone. I have read a number of other singletons from a series and felt they worked well as a standalones; this one did not.

Although the plot was decent and it is a solid police procedural, I felt I missed a lot by not knowing the background or personalities of the main players. I did not like the main character, Kim, at all and, again, feel that might be because I didn’t have much knowledge of her. I thought the analysis of body language during interviewing a suspect very interesting. There are two story lines, the second one involving sociopath Dr. Alex Thorne, it seems, sets itself up for the next in the series. I did not like this story line as much as the main one and don’t look forward to reading more about it!

I did find it amusing that Noelle Holten, a well known blogger in the UK and author herself, was the name given to a very minor character in jail for murder!

Another phenomenal instalment in the Kim Stone series....wow! Kim is one of the most complicated and wonderfully written characters I have read, and I love her dynamic with the team.

As always on the edge of my seat reading, no idea what is coming next at any point. Unable to put it down at any time, just fantastic.

My eternal thanks to Angela Marsons, Bookouture, and NetGalley, for my spot on the book tour, and for an advance copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.

Dammit Angela! You've done it again! Another Kim Stone work of art!

As if Kim weren’t handling enough with Steven Harte and his sinister games, her old nemesis Alex Thorne is forcing her menacing influence out from prison to gain Kim’s attention.

Okay, so Kim is her normal forthright self, which I love. She hasn’t changed much and that consistency is reassuring in the face of the investigation, especially with Bryant as the Yin to her Yang. The rest of the team are as likeable, reliable, credible and relatable as always. The reappearance of sociopath Dr Alex Thorne is always a joy, especially as she has had time in prison to think of new ways to get to Kim.

I have reviewed each of the Kim Stone books, and the one consistency is that each improves on its predecessor in terms of plot, characters, misdirection, and twists. Stolen Ones hasn’t bucked that trend. I feel a little embarrassed because I’ve given the last few books six stars out of five (my reviews, my rules). So what now? Do I give seven? Or six stars with sparkles? One thing is certain, I cannot recommend this book enough. I’ve decided. I gave Stolen Ones by Angela Marsons sparkly stars.

25 years ago a young girl went missing & was never found. DI Kim Stone might just be able to find the answers that she needs to close the case but she needs to find Grace who has been taken first. Things take a strange turn when Steven Harte comes into the station where Kim works and he offers to help her find Grace & answers about the past. But he seems to be playing games & Kim isn’t interested in that. But she has no choice but to be patient but Steven is about to give her clues to other missing girls. When the truth is revealed it isn’t what they were expecting. A great read a big twist that makes perfect sense. Can’t wait to read more about DI Stone. I was lucky enough to receive a copy from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Stephen Harte walked into the police station saying that he had information concerning Melody, a young girl who went missing twenty five years ago. Kim is somewhat mystified but she has bigger fish to fry when an eight year old girl disappears & when they find a bracelet belonging to Melody she realises that Stephen Harte has to fit in somewhere! The team is led along some strange pathways & Kim is forced to change her interview techniques at the urging of Alison the behaviourist.

I am always really excited to see another Kim Stone book is coming out. Having followed her from the beginning & seen the ways her team have developed I'm always wondering what Angela Marsons with throw at them this time! I was not disappointed with the main story but I could have done without the inclusion of Dr Alex Thorne! I know she has many fans but I really feel that she has run her course & I'm sad that the next book will probably heavily involve her again. I think it's the first time I haven't given one of the series five stars! However it was still a really good read. Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & review this book.

I’ve been a fan of Detective Kim Stone right from the beginning and when reading book 15 I realised that the author still has a lot to give. The series is still fresh and the content makes for a compelling read.
In this story a young girl, Grace Lennard, is abducted from a childcare facility and almost immediately a man comes to the police station who seems to know a lot about her abduction as well as the previous kidnap of some other young girls who have never been discovered. Has he also abducted Grace? However his confession is constructed in such a way that he makes it impossible for Kim to find Grace and the other “Stolen Ones”.
In this book Kim has to work backwards: she thinks she has the guilty person but she cannot prove it and is in a race against time to find the latest victim.
In the background we also have the sociopath psychiatrist, Alex Thorne who is in prison, trying to engineer her parole. Kim finds it hard to avoid her, particularly as she has some information that could turn out to be incredibly important to her, but at what cost?
This was a fast paced and entertaining read which contained all my favourite Kim Stone characters. The story itself was well written and researched. I enjoyed reading about interview techniques as Kim tries to get Steven Harte to divulge crucial information which will help the police find the missing child.
This is a thoroughly engrossing crime thriller which I found difficult to put down and which indeed entertained me greatly on a long haul flight!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for my arc.

I can't believe it's book 15! I adore this series so much.

Steven Harte comes to the station claiming to know what happened to a girl who went missing without a trace 25 years ago. He wants to help Kim but on his terms only. Kim and the Team are investigating a similar crime where a young child has been snatched from the local nursery.

Alex is due to be released from prison and is hoping that Kim will help with her parole in exchange for news about her father. She really shouldn't underestimate her.

It was great to catch up with well loved characters and it made me smile to recognise some well kent names as new characters!

It's a twisty tale which had me on the edge of my seat throughout.

WOW 😯 Yet another unputdownable read ! It’s very rare for an author of a long series improve and withhold the standards of the first few books but Angela Marsons does that and more ! Each book gets better and better , the storylines are original and the main characters storylines follow through each book. I loved the other storyline that ran along with the main one and the cliffhanger at the end just wants to read the next one straight away !! Excellent!!

OMG…..What a book!

I can’t believe this is book number 15…..How the hell did that happen, it doesn’t seem 5 minutes ago since I started reading this series. When in actual fact it was 6 years ago. I was first drawn to this series because it is set in the Black Country, which is where I live. And now each book I read is like catching up with old friends. I simply love the Kim Stone series.

In this book with catch up with old and new characters and there is even a couple I personally know. I loved that Alex is in this story and we find out more about Kim’s past.

But what I love is that this series never gets old and Marsons story telling just gets better and better each book she writes. Stolen Ones had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t read it fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. It is a truly awesome read.

Once again Marsons has totally smashed it and this book will certainly keep you guessing until the end with a brilliant twisty plot. You guys are in for a treat.

I cannot recommend it enough giving it all the stars.

Massive thank you to Kim Nash at Bookouture for inviting me to take part in this epic tour.

#15 in this author's excellent Kim Stone series and this was another good one. 25 years ago a young girl was abducted and never seen again. Today another young girl has been abducted from a day care and evidence indicates that the two events are related. Then a brilliant, narcissistic man walks into Stone's police station and claims to have knowledge of both, but something just doesn't seem to add up. Good characters and a good mystery with an excellent twist that I didn't see coming. Thanks to Net Galley, Angela Marsons and Bookouture for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
