A wonderful illustrated edition of this book, a great addition to the story, with superb world building.

I loved Myla! She was such a badass and at the same time very compassionate. She was someone who didn't back down and I really liked that she knew her worth. I also loved how Christina Bauer, took the whole Heaven and Hell idea and made it into something original. I thought this book would be very religious, but it absolutely isn't and the world that the "angels" live in is very interesting. I can't wait to see more of where this series is going.

A younger and fun YA take on the life or rather afterlife for Demons and Angels etc
The audience for this book is definitely aimed for younger of the YA fan base but I did enjoy the characters and the discovery of who Maya was and the history. The world building was kept to information you needed and wasnt too in depth, which was ideal as it was in purgatory, a new take for me in this genre but one that I enjoyed and liked and would consider reading further in the series.
I definitely liked the relationship between Maya and Lincoln as well as Maya and Walker, they have a chemistry that Christina Bauer certainly made come alive from the page.
The illustrations were not really something I would seek for in any book and whilst they were amazing weren't always what I had in my head for characters, which left me a little deflated.

Unfortunately, I received a review copy of this title soon before the archive date and did not have time to read and review. I am sorry for the inconvenience. I am still very interested in this book and plan on purchasing this title in the future. I will publish my review on Goodreads at that time. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate the opportunity.

Angelbound is a fine book, but I didn't find it super interesting and compelling. The characters and plot were likeable and engaging enough. I would definitely consider continuing the series.

Really interesting Y&A paranormal Book. We meet Myla and her life in Purgatory, step by step she learns the true history and her family legacy. There are events sent in motion will Myla finds all the answers and strength to overcome everything.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

Having read many of the books in the Angelbound series, it was a delight to go back to the beginning and see where Myla Lewis and Lincoln began.

What made this edition even more special was the inclusion of images of our main characters.

If you are ever tempted to read this book, you should do it, a word of warning though, once you start, you will want to read all of Christina's books!

Well, this book had been on my radar for a little while now so I was excited to finally read it. Unfortunately, I was just bored because I found the text to be repetitive.

Thank you to netgalley for allowing me to read books in exchange for a review. thank you to the publisher for accepting me and thank you to the author for creating an awesome book.

I would like to say that this book is fantastic. I liked the layout and characters but they did fall a little flat for me personally as some things didn't coincide with the characters personality but I liked this very much regardless of this the world building was great and I thought this is a great read I have recommended for my best friend.

Eighteen-year-old Myla Lewis is a girl who loves two things: kicking ass and kicking ass. She's not your every day quasi-demon, part-demon and part-human, girl.
