Rebel Girls Climate Warriors introduces us to twenty five different women who took a stand to protect our environment. Some of these women are adults, like former Parisian Mayor Anne Hidalgo and author Margaret Atwood. Many of these women began their activism when they were teenagers or younger. This book shows us not only how far we have come, but also that woman of any age can make a huge difference!

My daughter absolutely loves these books. She has the full series and eagerly awaits the publication of a new one. Climate Warriors is no exception. The stories are vibrant and engaging, simplified enough to be easily understandable without being babyish. Proper role models for modern girls. The Rebel Girl series never disappoints.

An excellent collection of biographical sketches of inspiring women who have fought to save our planet, wildlife and the environment. Along with well-known names like Greta Thunberg and Rachel Carson, unsung heroes from around the globe, including women of colour like Purnima Devi Barman and Isatou Keesay, are introduced in an engaging and relatable way. The gorgeous illustrations enhance the reader's experience of "meeting" these incredible women. Young girls are sure to be inspired by this book to follow in the footsteps of the brave, enterprising female warriors who have devoted their lives to protecting our beautiful Earth!

The Rebel Girls books are a great series introducing young people to those that have taken a stand for something they believe in.
It is a really accessible book to learn about climate warriors, introducing people I hadn't heard of before.
I would definitely want this book in my classroom.

Rebel Girls Climate Warriors features 25 different biographies of various types of women who are working to fight climate change. Each page features important facts about each woman, as well as an accompanying illustration of her in her element. I love this for a middle schooler!

This was a continuation of the other Rebel Girls series and I recommend this for all parents and educators. This
time it was a book showcasing all the "Rebel Girls" who are committed to climate change solutions. I learned
about so many new women, girls and different issues that I previously wasn't aware of. I love that each person
page has beautiful artwork and informative paragraphs of how they are helping the environment.

I received this ARC from NetGalley and in exchange for an honest review.

Another good selection of famous women who have made a difference. This time, the focus is girls, teens, and women who have brought attention to the world on the subject of climate change. Activists, politicians, girl-next door, lots of variety. Sisters, Ella and Caitlin McEwan, for example, protested and complained about the waste and danger to our environment after certain companies were giving away plastic toys with their fast food. In the UK, one of the big companies stopped doing this based on their work. Greta Thunberg, of course is included. I must admit there are plenty I have not heard of, but that is what makes this such a good read. Lots of different people to learn about and enjoy reading. Each page has an illustrated picture of the person's bio notes. Enough information to whet the appetite, but also perhaps encourage readers to do more research if they want.
Good book for home and school libraries.

I love reading about women making our world a better place! So many were unknown to me and the way they were portrayed and illustrated is beautiful. They all work in different fields that help our Earth!
I hope this book will inspire many other people to follow in their footsteps.
The book also ends with a couple of tips on how to improve your ecological footprint.
5 stars - I absolutely love this book and I will continue to strive to make Earth better with small actions that may not affect the world as much as this women's actions did but it makes me feel better if I can help little by little 🥰

This is the third book that I read of these 25 Rebel Girls series and I have already ordered another one because I want to keep learning more and more!

It was great to realise how many people are concerned for the environment and how much they are doing to improve the current situation.

I felt inspired by all these girls and women that have come up with different solutions, alternatives and inventions to prevent the situation from getting worse.

I learned a bit more about people that was already familiar and I also happened to know a lot more people that are really invested in the topic.

Thank you to Netgalley and Rebel Girls for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

There hasn't been a Rebel Girls installment I haven't adored! Every time I pick up a Rebel Girls book I learn a ton about epic women from all around the world that I hadn't known about. I was especially excited for this installment as climate change, wildlife, and water conservation have been topics I have been very passionate about since I was a young girl. While I recognized some of these amazing women, there were a lot more that I learned so much about. I loved the scan options in the book to learn more, too! I thought it was a great interactive tool to not only offer more information but also advocate for continued research, which was something I always encouraged from my students when I was a classroom teacher! I always recommend these books but I especially recommend this installment as it's a topic close to my heart.

Thanks to the publisher via NetGalley for the eARC. This is another well crafted installation in the Rebel Girls series. The illustrations are beautiful and there’s been a real effort to include a diverse range of voices - it was especially nice to see the work of indigenous activists being given the credit it’s due. Fundamentally, this is more of a pamphlet than a book, but I reckon it could form a good basis for further research for kids aged 8-12.

4 Stars ( I received an e-arc from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review)

This is one of my favourite additions to the rebel girls series, as there was more of a wide variety of representation. Since the United States doesn’t have a big amount of climate activists we get to see more of the world and different time periods as well.

An excellent read for younger students. The women featured are all given a brief biography and picture in bright and attractive colors.

The best thing about this book is how it highlights the actions by people of varying backgrounds. Some are influential while most are not. They are often children when they begin their work. To present this to students would show them how anyone can make a difference and, hopefully, be inspired to effect change themselves.

I absolutely adore this series. Starting with Rebel girls, I am happy that we see more titles that give space and attention to extraordinary women in history and contemporary times, Climate warriors are balaced regarding their choice of women featured, we get a lot of marginalized folks, BIPOC, children, teenagers, adults, the whole mix.
I especially appreciate the space given to BIPOC among illustrators. The pictures are, as usual, gorgeous and captivating, capturing the essence of each woman presented. Texts are age appropriated for children, which gives them a dream-like character, yet they are still informative enough to grab the attention of an adult reader.
As for the choice of topic - climate warriors - I think this goes without saying, climate change is a topic sorely neglected, yet of utmost importance to all of us. We all need to educate our children AND ourselves in this regard and this book provides a great tool to do just that.

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of this book.

Brilliant stories of the women who have battled for the environment and for our planet. The contents are really clear and there is something for everyone. The illustrations are beautiful - not babyish, not cartoons but simply representative of the strength of the characters in the book. A must have on an 8-10 year olds shelf - or their parent’s .
