As always the Rebel Girls series never disappoints! I especially liked learning about women and girls who have had an impact on the environment. As someone who has made numerous swaps to go plastic free and is very aware of my own impact on the environment I really appreciated learning about these influential women!

Can't wait for another book in this series!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of Rebel Girls Climate Warriors.

Once again... Rebel Girls does it again by introducing powerful climate changemakers. I have heard of some of the women but was introduced to many of them. All too often, the calls for reform with climate change fall on silent ears, so it was amazing to hear about the missions and passions of these women who seek to heal our Earth and land. I cannot wait to add this book to the classroom library.

The Rebel Girls books have never failed to educate and entertain me before. I’m happy to report that this one continues the streak!

Previous Rebel Girls books started out as general collections of diverse, amazing women. Now, the books narrow their focus, focusing on athletes, entrepreneurs, and climate activists.

The backgrounds of these women are as diverse and varied as the actions they take to protect our planet. There are examples of many steps, big and small that work to take care of the earth.. These women raise awareness of the effects of climate change in remote locales and petition to reduce hard plastic waste by fast food restaurants.

The text is simple, making for easy and quick reading. Each mini biography is accompanied by a gorgeous portrait from a variety of artists. The colors and styles are visually stunning.

At the end of the book are the calls to action, small things we can do in our daily lives to widen our knowledge and perception at the natural world. As well as actions we can do in our own lives to protect the Earth. The additions of QR codes at various places during the book only expands on the information offered. Although, I worry about the people who would enjoy this book but don’t have access to the technology for the codes.

I am greatly looking forward to adding this to my collection of Rebel Girls books that I share with my nibling.

I am very grateful to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read this ARC.

If ever there was a super empowering and elite club to join, it would be the Rebel Girls' gang. It just keeps getting bigger and better by the book! Now it has gone green and is highlighting the stories of 25 amazing women, who have helped save the planet and environment! Alongside their fantastic bios, there is such a fabulous feature: a QR code that you can scan with your phone or device to bring you even more super information! It is soooo good! As always, we are treated to the most stunning illustrations and at the end, there isn't he usual fab feature of a blank space to add your story and image. Additional extras that make this such a special book are the activities at the end- ways you can celebrate nature and a really fab tips page on all the ways you can love green and make a personal difference. This is the best girl gang on earth. I so want to be part of this green army of amazing Climate Warriers from Margaret Atwood to ,Autumn Peltier, plus 23 more! #RebelGirlsClimateWarriers #netgalley

I received a copy of the book by NetGalley but the opinions in this review are my own.

Rebel Girls Climate Warriors is another book in the Rebel Girls series highlighting great women through short biographies. The little bit extra of this volume is the fact that it is a lot more interactive with QR code on certain pages for more info on the person in question. The illustrations are as always beautiful as well. Great book.

I received an eARC copy from Rebel Girls via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Modern times bring modern difficulties to deal with; climate change is a mammoth issue people face nowadays. It threatens people from multiple fronts: extreme heat, newly developed and restored diseases, water pollution, air pollution, food and water scarcity, increased flooding, economic loss; the list goes on.

"If it was easy to solve the climate crisis, we would have solved it already. We've got a lot of work to do, and we need everyone involved."
-Danni Washington

"There are infinitely possible futures, and which one we get will depend on the decisions we make now."
-Margaret Atwood

With this sequel, Rebel Girls are not only praising the women who dedicated their lives to protect the Earth but have sent an open call to all of us, young and old, to take action and contribute towards the betterment of our surroundings. Any contribution, any means of help, would mean a lot to the soil, air, water, and eventually - people. Environmental protection and conservation are the most important topics today, teaching us to protect nature as individuals, organisations and governments. These fierce women, described in this sequel, showed us how starting small in our communities could end up loud enough for the world to see and respond.

The QR-codes scattered throughout the book offer more information, bringing an extra point towards our engagement for a better and cleaner world.

The book's title created a short-term confusion - while the title on the book's cover is Rebel Girls Climate Warriors: 25 Tales of Environmental Allies, it is listed under Rebel Girls Climate Warriors: 25 Tales of Women Who Protect the Earth; at first, I thought I received a wrong ebook. Nevertheless, this educational book is a huge reminder that we still have a chance to help our home.

Thank you so much to Netgalley, the publishers and every one who played a role behind this book's existence for providing me with an ARC and such magical experiences!

I am a huge fan of Rebel Girls series and this one is no exception. Once again, I enjoyed reading and experiencing the awe-inspiring stories of 25 diligent, perseverant and vigorous women, breaking down barriers to ensure a better and healthier earth for upcoming generations. They have truly established the fact that sky is the limit when you are passionate and determined about something you want. The book followed its usual pattern, story on one page and illustration on the other. It features kids who started protesting in elementary school as well as inventor, writer, scientist, farmer, politician and people belonging to other professions proving that no matter where you are and whatever you do, you have a voice and choices that directly/indirectly influence climate change. One can never be too young or too old. I was particularly surprised to discover one climate activist who share my heritage. I was so shocked, I read it twice. Pity I didn't know about her before. Well organized, beautifully written, informative biographies of female super heroes paired with their stunning portraits- this book deserves a place at all of our bookshelves.

This book has a powerful message to everyone, where the focus this time round is going green and saving the climate. This book is short and sweet, yet it sends a powerful message to readers.

Another great series from the Rebel Girls Collection! This was a short yet impactful collection on 25 women who have all sought to improve our environment in small or big ways. Besides the stories, I absolutely loved the illustration and appreciate that it features different talented artists as well.

Strong women, powerful illustrations- with motivating ways to live a greener life ---

What a wonderful and motivating collection of stories about young and old women who protect the earth. The book contains powerful illustrations of strong women. Politics, activism, journalism, biology, and a variety of other areas are represented by these women. The short biographies are very interesting! ---

Aside from the stories, I really like the section where you are encouraged to celebrate nature. There are many motivating ways to live green and commit to helpful habits. Inspiring!

This is by far one of my favorite series of books ever especially for young children! As like the other books in this series, there is a diverse range of women and their stories included.

This book focuses on women that are climate/nature warriors. It makes the reader realize that there are all kinds of ways and careers you can take to help with preserving nature and the climate including politicians, activists and journalists.

I loved that there was a section in the book showcasing ways to help and celebrate all things climate and eco friendly! This book will help so many young readers appreciate all they can do to help!

The Rebel Girls series of stories is one of my favorites and this new one about Climate Warriors is another great read for yourself or to share with your young children.

I love how the stories are short enough for a bedtime story, but also give just enough information that leaves you wanting more, especially so you can look them up!

Another thing I loved with this book in particular is the end has some ideas on how to celebrate Nature and to Go Green so you can also be a Climate Warrior!

Thank you to Rebel Girls, INC and NetGalley for the Digital ARC to Read and Review, what a perfect way to celebrate Women’s History month by reading this! Although these books are of course written with youths as the target audience, as an adult I always appreciate that I can still relate to and learn from these books. The illustrations are beautiful and the women included are diverse. I particularly love the use of current activists because so often we forget to celebrate people, particularly women, while they are still around. The activities included at the end make this such a perfect book for young ones to learn about our Climate Warriors.

Amazing collection of empowering stories! It is a brilliant way to encourage young girls that they, too can make a difference in this big world despite how hard it may seem so long as they work hard at it. Very accessible for any reader and highlights the many faces of importance in the fight against climate change.

Thanks Netgalley and Rebel Girls for the Digital Advanced Copy!

These stories are important for all kids, but especially girls, to know. Each girl and woman came across something so simple, but turned it into something bigger. Something life changing for their town or the whole world. Through these stories you also see the impact of not just recent events, but events that have helped shape girls of today. I can't wait to see the girls come around saying this book helped them make a bigger impact. The QR code was a great idea so girls can get to know more about their favorites.

Thank you to NetGalley and Rebel Girls for the e-ARC to read and review. I am familiar with some of the other Rebel Girls books and this one complements the collection nicely. Like the other bedtime stories compilations, most of the stories in this text begin with "once upon a time" type language - though I think it suits the other longer books better (as you can pick out one or two to actually read at bedtime.) Since this is a relatively short hardcover, it feels more like you'd want to read most, if not all, at once. I liked the selection of climate warriors featured, with most of the names unfamiliar to me before my reading. I enjoy the spotlight on a bunch of different types of work happening and the different change-makers behind the scenes. As these short profiles focus mostly on each person's origin story, there's not a lot about the effects of the work in the long term, but it serves as a great reminder that you don't have to be born into a specific role to take it on - and that you can make changes big and small at any age.
