I almost always love reading a Ciara Knight book and this one doesn’t disappoint me. Very thoughtful of unusual circumstances. A single mom and a single veteran, both having struggles in life. Very heartwarming.

It is Christmas time and after 17 years of running away Keith has returned for the holiday. Noelle is new to the area and in desperate need of someone to watch her visually impaired son. Nice small town setting with characters that are more realistic. They have flaws and relationships are not perfect. I liked this book.

Christmas Bells of Creekside (A Sweetwater County Holiday Novel #1). By Ciara Knight. 2021. Defy the Dark Publishing LLC (ARC eBook).

Christmas Bells of Creekside is a heartwarming Christmas romance with themes of trust, forgiveness, confidence and faith. Single mother Noelle and her young, spirited son, Micha, are going through a very challenging time as Micha’s eyesight is diminishing. Keith is also experiencing a crisis as his long overdue Creekside homecoming is precipitated by the loss of his job as a ocean fisherman. But as bells ring out through a snowy Christmas Eve, a prayer will bring the three together for a happy ending.

Don't exclude that the bells could be ringing
"Christmas Bells of Creekside. A Sweet Small-Town Holiday Romance" by US Today best-selling author Ciara Knight is one volume in the sweet romance series that is taking place in Creekside, a small town in Sweetwater County, published by Author Collective 20.
Three years ago Keith Mitchell had vowed to himself never to return to Creekside but now he is on the way to see his mother and her new husband. Keith's mother volunteers him to take care of Micha, a small boys with sight issues, son of single mother, Noelle Monroe who is dealing with other issues also. Will they be able to "see eye to eye" in regard to the well-being of Micha or will Noelle's issues be a hindrance in regard to the help that Micha needs?
Although this book is one of a series (I have read three of them so far) this book can be read as a stand-alone. The book is clean and wholesome and also contains a recipe for some tasty bars and a readers guide which can also be used it the book is read in a book club. One does not have to read the previous novels in order to appreciate the story. Ciara Knight writes realistic books without extra-material affairs, sex, offensive language, ... She presents a book with great characters. I highly recommend this book to everyone who like clean and wholesome romances which play at Christmas time for relaxation.
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is a very cutesy read that I read very quickly, It feels like a Hallmark movie.

Keith comes home from working on a fishing boat to reunite with his family. Before he even gets a chance to do this, his path changes when he (literally) runs into Micha and his plans are turned around.

This is a lovely book if you would like a quick read. It was very thought-envoking story, describing how Micha and his mother have come to Creekside, and how they not only how to deal with a new place, but also how Micha is going blind, how he has to understand his new way of life and how his mother Noelle, has to respond as well.

This is a love story of so many levels and I would recommend it to anyone.

When Keith returns to his hometown for the holidays, he meets Noelle and her partially sighted son Micha. This is a festive, feel good book which was enjoyable but so, so predictable. Obviously they fall in love, but for both main characters to get over hang ups and issues which they’ve hung onto for years in just a matter of days, is simply unbelievable.

I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Micha is a little boy who is losing his sight. Keith is a loner who needs to find love. Noelle is the mother of the child who is frantically trying to keep her child.
This Hallmark story is something that you can find love with.
Ciara Knight has written a compelling story.

Here is the story young boy losing his eyesight and his mom raising a special needs child as a single parent. Set in the season of Christmas, can happiness and love be found and see Christmas in a new light?

Christmas isn't something single mother, Noelle Monroe looks forward to. She must work to provide for her son Mickah and have access to his mounting doctor bills, When her third nanny quits she must find someone or lose her job. She finds herself in the desperate situation of what she must do and what’s best for her ten year old boy.

A professed loner, Keith Mitchell re-enters his hometown after a fishing life on the seas where he has only encountered other tough snd rowdy men. He has been furloughed from the boat due to fishing regulations, so Keith returns to his hometown for the holidays to reunite with his estranged mother and her new husband Devon. Soon Keith learns the temporary situation turns into permanent unemployment, leaving him stuck in a town with memories he’d hope to leave behind forever.

When Keith's mother volunteers him to watch a young boy with visual challenges Keith knows he's the wrong man for the job, yet the beautiful young neighbor needs help and the boy needs a male in his life. Keith and Noelle agree to a temporary arrangement through the season, but the boy has other plans.

Mickah is on a mission to help his mother obtain happiness again, maybe gain a new and this time a loving dad, and save Christmas for all.

This was a very sappy unrealistic story but it was full of happy endings. I thought Mickah was too old to be doing the antics of running away. I found Noelle and Keith very realistic although I couldn’t see how Keith could ever be happy in a hometown with such painful memories.

Yet…God works in mysterious ways.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this.

This is a very sweet romance story between Noelle and Keith, with a more heavy focus on Noelle's son Micha, who is going blind.

A touching story, more so for Noelle and Keith, about overcoming their fears and facing a new future that awaits them.
