A fabulous, uplifting, modern romance. I was drawn into all of the characters and raced through it to find out how it would end.
It’s beautifully written and very engaging.
I’d certainly recommend it.

I enjoyed this book - romance with a difference. I did get a bit confused with the backwards and forwards. I felt it would have been easier for me with dates rather than 10 years ago, 3 years ago but that might be an age difficulty.

This is all you could want in a contemporary romance. Abbie meets Oz one night and their attraction and connection was so strong it fuelled a romance that lasted over fourteen years. Due to various outside influences, they could never seem to commit to each other whether it be family, work or the country that they lived in. What follows is a romance that covers years and miles to try and shorten the distance between them.

An engaging read about how life together with consideration for the family and friends can disrupt one's own path. The story is told by Abbie, a law student and a prolonged love affair with Oz, a Turkish student covering every time they meet up accidentally or by design. The storyline does jump about a bit over the 15 years but easy enough to follow. Well drawn set of characters but also a lot of frustrations, interruptions resulting in lost opportunities plus misunderstandings and the unwillingness to listen. Overall a good read and with many real life situations where real life does get in the way of dreams.
