Thank you for NetGalley for providing me with this for review.

This is the first book I've read from this author, but it won't be my last. I absolutely loved it, read it in one day, what a delight.

This was released in 4 separate parts originally so this is all 4 in one book which is perfect for me as I am far too impatient to have to wait for the next installment lol
Holly is a young widow who moves back to York and gets a job in the Little shop of Hidden Treasures which she was fascinated with as a child gazing through the windows.
An unexpected find of an antique Egyptian ring and letter in a puzzle box leads Holly to investigating the story of the ring and why it was hidden in the box
2 handsome men and a mystery to solve who could want more ?
Loved it

This was a beautiful book and took us, the readers, on so many different twists and turns. Who would have known what Hope would have gone through after looking through the window of the Emporium; what friends she would have met and the discoveries they would all make together.

This described the deliciousness of an emporium, and the hidden treasures that were to be found, let alone the puzzle box and what was within it, and the adventures that would follow. From discovering the background of the Scarab and then to Egypt, the relationships with Will, Ciaran and Brodie, and Hope's family, let alone the family history behind the scarab, I could not put this book down and pretty much read it in one sitting.

The description of York and the area was also spot-on, and you leave the book wanting to explore the area, find the Emporium, Iris' flower shop and the jewellers.

What a well written book that keeps on giving. Had me guessing to the end what way it was going to play out,
Great characters loved the emporium and fell in love with the comings and going’s and the backstory of Egypt was fantastic.
Highly recommend

What a wonderful book! Right from the first page, the story picked me up and carried me along right to the end. This is one of those books you get completely lost in and that you don’t want to end…….. I was so invested in Hope’s, Ciaran, Brodie, Will and Isobel’s story as well as the secondary story of Elenor and Khalid’s story from 1920’s Egypt. Simply gorgeous! Well written, warm, full of emotion, friendships and hope……… highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this. Can I come and work with Hope at the shop of hidden treasures? I loved the setting and loved the characters. I really didn’t want it to end.

This was a delightful read featuring young widow Hope starting a new job in a quirky York antique store where she uncovers an intriguing love story set back in the 1920s which provides a mystery she’s keen to discover more about. The shop itself and some of the curiosities within sound fantastic and there’s some great characters most especially young Brodie who has been mute since the recent death of her parents. It’s was really good to see Hope trying to move forward with her life with her new job, new friends and a fascinating new hobby and the timescale of this offered a great chance to show her flourish but with hiccups along the way. This is a very warm and uplifting read and great to curl up with over winter, 9/10
