“A Heart-Warming Festive Novel” pretty much nails this book on the head. Very cute and definitely sets the mood for Christmas! I’m obsessed with that cover as well. So much so that I want a copy for my shelves because it’s just too perfect.

This is such a sweet Christmas story. I love the characters and their interactions were just heartwarming. Beth and Tristan's initial interactions made me chuckle and I loved seeing their relationship develop and blossom. There was a little strife, but it all fit well within the story and, as all good Christmas novels, the HEA left a huge smile on my face. Add this one to your list, you won't regret it!

A delightful read, easy and uncomplicated and perfect for a spare hour. It has the desired and expected happy ever after feel for this genre.

I was pleasantly surprised when at 60% of the way through this book it wasn't the end. Beth and Tristan are adorable. Both have vulnerabilities which adds depth to the storyline. I'm a sucker for a Christmas romance set in an English manor so location was perfect for me. A sweet read for Christmas. I wasn't aware when requesting the book it was part of a series so I enjoy reading the first novel.

This Christmas book is so satisfying! It is the perfect book to sit with a hot cup of tea and curl up with your favorite pet to read. I enjoyed the character development and the romance. Thank you to net galley for this free ebook and exchange for an honest review.

Such a lovely festive read.

At first I thought it was gonna be so naff. Girl meets boy in the first chapter, they dont get on but are obviously going to make up and fall in love. And essentially that is it, but I became so involved in Beth & Tristans romance and everything going on around them that I found it really enjoyable and not at all naff!!

There were a couple of lose ends that I found annoying when they werent tied up (what happened with the relationship of Tristans assistant, Anya?) but on the whole I really enjoyed this book and found it perfectly festive.

Ahhhh what’s not to love about a festive romance, set on a beautiful Cornish Estate with an unseasonable amount of snow! This was a great read, lovely to see Beth grow her boutique business as a single mum. It was warming to read about how she was welcomed into the stables by the other small businesses as they all helped each other out. It felt delightfully Christmassy reading about snow, black tie dinners, Christmas jumpers, and not forgetting an unexpected birth- thankfully not in the stables! A lovely, light, festive read. Would recommend.

Back in my 20s (a long long time ago😬) I was heavily into light hearted romantic novels but it's not usually a genre I reach for nowadays.... However I wanted to purposely read a festive one this December to review on booksta. So I was thankfully gifted this ARC and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.
🎄Mistletoe at the Manor has all the perfect ingredients for a great, feel good, heartwarming novel and it's all wrapped up in a perfect festive bow🎀

A light, easy read about a single Mum named Beth who opens a boutique on the grounds of Cornwalls scenic Trenouth estate. Throw in a handsome yet aloof Estate owner, an ex one-night-stand and a Christmas ball and charity faire and boom you've got a Christmas treat of a story.

Thank you to @netgalley @sapere.books and @teresa.f.morgan for the ARC of this book

BOOK REVIEW | Mistletoe at the Manor by Teresa F. Morgan

SYNOPSIS | Can Beth learn to open her heart this Christmas…? Between setting up her boutique and raising her six-year-old son, single mum Beth Sterling has little time for romance.

Keen to expand her clientele, Beth moves her business into a cosy converted stable on the scenic Trenouth Estate.

However, her focus soon wavers when she meets Tristan Trenouth, the handsome but aloof owner of the estate. Each wilful and outspoken, Beth and Tristan are soon clashing whenever they cross paths.

With the estate’s charity ball and Christmas fayre on the horizon, the two grudgingly put their differences aside and agree to work together. And as they spend more and more time in each other’s company, their uneasy truce blossoms into a strong mutual attraction.

But with a young son, a fledgling business and a painful past to contend with, Beth needs someone she can rely on. And Tristan has demons of his own to face…

Can Beth get her boutique up and running in time for Christmas? Will she and Tristan find happiness together? Or will the shadows of the past drive them apart…?

MISTLETOE AT THE MANOR is a contemporary festive read you won’t be able to put down. Get lost among the snowy hills of Cornwall in this glittering Christmas romance, perfect for cosy winter nights.

MY THOUGHTS | Mistletoe at the Manor was not my favourite Christmas novel, but I am glad that I read it. There was a lot going on, the main characters were not that enjoyable, and there was not a lot of romance. Thank you to NetGalley and Sapere Books for the digital ARC.

Mistletoe at the manor surrounds a young single mother expanding her business in the converted stable of trenouth estate, becoming friends with fellow renters and overcoming her past. After a tumultuous start to her friendship with Tristan Trenouth, they both begrudgingly work together to put together a charity Christmas ball and overcome their problems on the way..

I’m going to be honest, I couldn’t find a way to enjoy this book, I found the protagonists miscommunication irritating and nothing was a surprise. I feel like maybe each character had too many issues and I may have enjoyed it more if the focus was mainly on one or two rather than a bundle. It wasn’t the worst book in the world, but I won’t be rereading this one.

I received an advanced copy of shortbread shakedown from netgalley for review.

Sometimes, even though you really want to like a book, it's just not happening. In the case of Christmas at the Manor, that was exactly what happened. While I enjoyed the plot, this book proved yet again that "show don't tell" isn't just a pretty phrase. So many elements seemed to be pushed in your face, especially in the first half of the story, that it was quite a struggle to even continue reading.
Combined with the constant mood shifts - I don't think I've seen people go from "he loves me, I love him not" that quickly since I was in high-school... Well, at least it was really Christmassy, but that was honestly the only thing I'm happy about, having read this book...

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC.
This was a feel good holiday story that I enjoyed on a cold drab day.
A cute predictable story but gets you in the mood for Christmas and makes your heart smile.

A cute enjoyable read but I didnt really enjoy it. Beth got pregnant but never saw the father again, then he pops up 6 years later and everything is perfect. Same with her parents. If only life was like that . As for the bickering that goes on between the two main characters That just went on too long. Having said that I enjoyed the fashion show and the lovely people who took Beth and her young son under their wing. The Christmas lights around the grounds of the manor seemed wonderful as did the many Christmas trees.

Cute & cozy Christmas read. It got a bit confusing and messy, but then when doesn't real life get that way? Not your everyday holiday book, which was a nice change.

Mistletoe at the Manor is a sweet holiday story of a single mom getting a chance at love and family. Beth recently moved into a boutique at the manor that Tristan runs and owns, and the two help each other. The side characters are the most endearing especially Seb the woodworker, Jason the brother and Janine, Tristans mom. The main characters are not as lovable honestly as those around them and their relationship seemed so rushed. I was content with the ending and the story but it wasnt my absolute favorite holiday book.

I did enjoy this book, but Beth was really unlikeable and honestly a clothes shop in a stable among crafters didn't seem right, anyways it was a ok book.

Beth is raising her 6 year old son, and living with her brother after her parents kicked her out. She runs a clothing store as a pop up, and decides to rent a space at a local manor house so clients could have the choice to come there or she would come to their house. Meeting grumpy Tristan was an added bonus. Both are angry and yet attracted to each other and sparks fly. Good story overall, and one I recommend. Just felt a bit that the dialog was stilted at times, and some parts are wrapped up a bit too neatly. Minor though, and still enjoyed it. Fun Christmas story.
