The second book in this series.

Beth is a single mum, opening a shop at the Trenouth Estate When she first meets Tristan they don't get on, and as they start to get closer she meets who she thinks is his girlfriend and then her Son's father, so do they have a chance of being together?

A great festive read.

I really enjoyed reading Beth and Tristans story. It had a similar storyline to some other books I had read, but the writing and character development was rich enough to make this one standout as special
Can Beth learn to open her heart this Christmas…?

Between setting up her boutique and raising her six-year-old son, single mum Beth Sterling has little time for romance.

Keen to expand her clientele, Beth moves her business into a cosy converted stable on the scenic Trenouth Estate.

However, her focus soon wavers when she meets Tristan Trenouth, the handsome but aloof owner of the estate. Each wilful and outspoken, Beth and Tristan are soon clashing whenever they cross paths.

With the estate’s charity ball and Christmas fayre on the horizon, the two grudgingly put their differences aside and agree to work together. And as they spend more and more time in each other’s company, their uneasy truce blossoms into a strong mutual attraction.

But with a young son, a fledgling business and a painful past to contend with, Beth needs someone she can rely on. And Tristan has demons of his own to face…

Can Beth get her boutique up and running in time for Christmas? Will she and Tristan find happiness together?

Or will the shadows of the past drive them apart…?

This was a lovely feel good read. I loved the cover. Beth was my favourite character. I wasn't sure about Tristan. He grew on me. 5*.

A lovely Christmassy story. A short and fun read full of hope and Christmas cheer, love, family and friendship intertwined. This kept me well entertained for a relaxing afternoon.

Reading this book felt like watching a pleasant Saturday afternoon romance on TV. A cute story, a bit predictable though, but you don't mind because the characters are lovable, and they so deserve happiness. The setting is rural England so what could me more romantic than that?

An entertaining and easy read, perfect to get you into the Christmas mood and put a smile on your face.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Sapere Books for this Advance Reading Copy.

Meh. I didn’t care for Beth or Tristan at all here. Beth basically joined an mlm selling clothing and calls it a boutique, no thanks. Hearing her talk about “her line” is very Lularoe. Tacky tacky. This would have been a much better book if she had spun her career into design like she intended, but Beth didn’t get that happy ending.

And why would Tristan of the manor be impressed with catalog clothing? No idea. Same goes for Nancy.

The whole story just didn’t work for me here. Not much romance. Beth had sex once when she lost her virginity, fell pregnant, didn’t remember who the father was and didn’t have sex again for nearly 7 years. Poor Beth.

The whole storyline with the unaccepting parents was odd too. And the focus on smell and cologne! Way too much mention of aftershave and perfume.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

Beth has no time for romance, she’s too busy setting up her boutique business and bringing up her son George as a single mum.

Wanting to grow her business, and her clients, she moves it to a converted stable on the Trenouth Estate.

Trying concentrate on the business, she finds her focus faltering when she meets Tristan, who owns the estate. Soon they are both clashing, whenever they meet.

Tristan is holding a Christmas Fayre as well as a charity ball, and for this reason, they both decide to work together, and put their disagreements aside. But spending time together soon has their disagreements dissipating and an attraction taking its place.

But, can Beth rely on Tristan, especially with a young son, a new business to grow, and a difficult past. Tristan, too has a past, he’s trying to face up to……..

So, Will Beth’s boutique be a good decision she’s made, and do her and Tristan have a future together?

Or, will the past cast it’s shadow over her happiness……….
