An enjoyable read with really pleasant characters. Cozette is such a strong willed lady and her story was well written and overall was a nice easy read for this time of year.

I loved this so much. It was spicy and so sweet. It was the perfect amount of Christmas too! Cozie is such an awesome character. She is so fun and feisty. Niko was great too. The hidden billionaire with a a heart of gold. Niko helped bring Cozie back to herself. They just fit so well. I cannot wait to read more by this author. I need Xia's book! Thank you to NetGalley and City Owl Press for the ebook arc in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this! I enjoyed that the main character was actually really badass and made the best of an unfortunate situation. Also, one of my guilty pleasures is a secret rich guy plot.

An average Christmas romance. I did feel like the setting was a little more original than most. Otherwise, all I can say is it was a cute Christmas romance to binge read in the middle of summer as a feel good love story.

Cute romance. An easy read that I enjoyed. The characters were fun and likable. Definitely felt a little hallmarks-y but that’s not a bad thing.

Holiday Hotel was a great holiday read that you can enjoy during any season.
The main characters were great and the supporting characters never felt like a bland or unimportant.
Poppy Minnix did an amazing job with this story! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute romance, an easy, sensual Christmas book, it took me an afternoon to read it. The cover initially drew me in to reading it, but the characters kept me engaged and it wasn't horribly predictable.

This was a really cute (but steamy) Christmas romance. The characters were so well written and Cozi the main female character was relatable in so many ways, not making them complex made this such an easy read.

If you’re a romance reader, then you definitely need to check this one out during the holiday season.

Thank you netgalley and publisher for the ARC, in exchange of an honest review.

First of all, how gorgeous-utterly gorgeous- is this cover? Just as depicted in the cover, the story is filled with so many romantic moments.

I loved the idea of island getaway amist the holiday season. This was super fun to read and swoon over.
A must read!

This one was pretty cute and kinda weird when it started as the female protagonist just leaves the city without any explanation and you get the reason after a while.
Loved the spice and it was pretty hot. There are some things happening out of nowhere and one might get confused. Otherwise it’s a light cute read.

4 / 5 - Holiday Hotel

3 / 5 STARS - Story Authenticity

4.5 / 5 STARS - Relatable and Lovable Characters

3.5 / 5 STARS - Steaminess

A newly single woman. A spontaneous vacation. A sexy hotel worker. Holiday Hijinx. Oh, and did I mention rum? #HolidayHotel is a gem that has it all, and despite the “trope” medley, the novel continuously pulls me back in for more, luring me farther out into the ocean along with our characters.

Poppy Minnex does an amazing job giving life to each and every one of her characters, whether it’s our intricate main characters, Cozi and Nico, down to the bartender Walt or the aromachologist, Xiamara. She adds in beautifully woven details that are often overlooked, like sounds or smells, and honestly, I think I need a coconut-vanilla-salt candle stat! And some of those drink recipes. Yummmm.

Although the story isn’t overly complex and generally follows the many contemporary romance “tropes”, it presents as a well written story that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy. Preferably on a hammock with a hottie napping next to you. If you enjoyed The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren, I think you’ll enjoy this story.

Thank you so much to @Poppyminix, #netgalley, and @cityowlpress for allowing me to read the ARC. It was freaking adorable.

I love love love this book. When I first read the blurb, I assumed this would be filled with ex drama and angst. What I did not expect was a strong willed badass heroine who walked her ass out the door right in the first chapter. I cheered like hell. This was so much fun. My heart goes out for Nico. Can’t wait for Xia’s story to be out!!

After breaking up with her longtime boyfriend and nowhere to go for the holidays, Cozette decides to escape to a island resort. Christmas-y hijinks abound when Cozette starts getting close to local hottie, Nico.

What a fun holiday read! I adored how the author was able to encapsulate the holiday mood while also giving this story a beachy, non-conventional Christmas feeling! I usually hate how fast-paced the plots of romance books can be, however I think the author perfectly worked this in the story’s favor. The characters were all very well written too, which definitely helped develop and round out the story!

This was a quick, cute read, exactly what I need and everything I expected. The writing was easy to follow and the storyline was sweet. I'm not a fan of insta-love and this came pretty close to that. Cozette and Nico are super adorable and really complimented each other. It was fun watching their story unfold. Considering that the bulk of the story takes place over a week the build up was pretty well done. I also appreciated that Cozette was trying to focus on herself and getting back to who she was before she changed herself for a guy. I would read more books by this author.

Huge thank you to Owl City Press and Netgalley for the ebook copy to read and give my own review.

Holiday Hotel is so much fun! Not a big fan of snow myself I was transported to spend Christmas on an island! Cozette and Nico were both so relatable and I couldn't get enough of their story! Poppy Minnix is a new author to me and I can't wait to read more by her!

The Holiday Hotel by Poppy Minnix is a warm-hearted and dreamy holiday read ready to whisk you away to warmer waters. When Cozette attempts to spice things up with her boyfriend, she quickly discovers.that spark has long run cold. In true form, at least according to her boyfriend, Cozette quickly packs up and leaves her home, their home in NYC. In a typical turn of events, she finds herself with nowhere to go for Christmas and ends up booking a tropical vacation. Oh, and she leaves in two hours. Landing on Simona Island, she quickly realizes she is overdressed. Or, maybe, underdressed? Enter Nico. The hot and kind bus driver/worker/owner who quickly becomes part of every waking moment of Cozette days. Could there be more below the surface of their friendship? The Holiday Hotel was a charming read over Christmas break! Thank you to NetGalley and City Owl Press for the advanced read copy in exchange for my honest review.
