A DNF at 28% for me I'm just not interested in the characters or the plot... It's definitely one for slow burn & long chapter fans.

& ange needs a capital letter

DNF. After many attempts to try this book it just wasn’t for me. After ditching many toxic people from my life, I didn’t want to read about toxic friendships of middle-class women.

I really liked the cover and thought it would be a good read for me but unfortunately not.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.

What a great psychological thriller surrounding a group of friends!
Liv met her closest female friends at the same baby group years before and they've stayed in each others lives since so when Besr friends Binnie brings Ange into this tight circle things start to change. The dynamics quickly change with Liv feeling on the outside plus Ange is super rich so the pot roast dinner parts quickly turn into find dinning. The only good thing Ange suggests Is trip for the group and their families, except this tholiday is way out of Livs budget but when Ange offers to pay things start looking up or do they?

I really enjoyed this book I found myself wanting to know what the twist was going to be. I didn't even understand the title until I sat and reflected abd realised it was a build up little thing that to others looked like nothings it's very cleverly done as we read from Liv's pov we see things how she does.
It was interesting to read hoe female dynamics change when a new person is added to the group the way Ange beelined to push out Liv was fascinating, I just wanted to know why!!!

I found all tye ladies quite interesting and I really enjoyed being part of Liv's journey even if it was hard for her. Easy to see how small things can segregate you from your entire friendship group and isolate you completely. The holiday was great as we got to see a more wild side to Liv and also two of the other friends were being to see what was going on. As I read I questioned whether or not Liv should forgive Binnie if Ange ever gets caught out. I couldn't help but think I would never speak to her again. But that's just me, you'll have to read yourself to find out what actually happens.

The prose is written extremely well and made the text easy to follow. The scenery was described really well and made the story come alive, I found especially with their running club

Would I recommend yes completely, lmalthiugh if you enjoy psychological therapy this might be a a bit slow but I promise it speeds up. 4*

I enjoyed this far more than I even expected to. It’s a razor-sharp depiction of female friendships that keeps you enthralled from start to end. The storyline is so well paced that you are totally invested in the events and the characters. A really fab female psychological thriller!

I love psychological thrillers, particularly those set in beautiful parts of the world (Greece, in this case!) and Little Nothings is rife with intrigue, secrets and betrayal. This will be a popular poolside read this summer!

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Didn’t enjoy this book at all couldn’t engage with the story at all. Really struggled to finish it.

I was drawn by the overall premise of this book but I have to admit I was slightly disappointed with how it turned out. I devoured the first half of the book then the second half took me almost 2 days to finish. I found the writing a bit choppy at times and had to go back and re read sections as it was a little hard to follow at times. However I did really enjoy the character dynamics. The friendship group reminded me of real life people who would go on couples holidays. I also wasn’t expecting the ending to go the way it did but overall it was a worthwhile and interesting read.

I enjoyed this book, I liked the writing style and it was very easy to read. I loved the setting of the holiday and some back tracking to pre-holiday at home which was great for getting to know our characters,. However, I am so disappointed with the ending - it almost felt like it had 'run out of time' and hadn't to make do with something quickly.

I couldn't finish this book to review. From the outset it seemed filled with the annoying self important middle class mum types that I try to avoid in real life so didn't want to indulge my precious free time reading about.

I really enjoyed this tale of toxic friendship set alongside a beautiful blue skied holiday. Frustrating at times and definitely eye-opening, would recommend as a beach read!

The perfect holiday read! I’d love to say that I read this on a sun lounger next to a swimming pool with a cocktail in my hand, but alas it wasn’t to be. But that’s not to say that I didn’t really enjoy this great book and it’s evocations of long hot days on holiday.

Liv is in Corfu with her husband, daughter, and three friends - also with their other halves and children. The close friendship between Liv, Binnie and Beth was formed when their children were small and they met during play group sessions. The recent arrival of Ange into the group - with her aspirational lifestyle full of designer clothes, top of the range cars and straight-from-a-magazine house extension - has begun to strain their relationship and things are about to come to a head.

I raced through this book and could easily imagine myself reading it on holiday - it’s the perfect sun lounger book; easy to read and keeps you guessing until the very end. Is it a murder story? Is Ange really as bad a Liv thinks? What’s the deal with Clara?

If you’re looking for something deep and meaningful to really get your teeth into then this book probably isn’t for you. But if you’re after a fun and distracting read to whisk you away to sunnier skies and the bitchiness of have-it-all mums then you’re going to really enjoy this!

I'm not sure what to make of this book it was well written with some good characters but quite disturbing in some ways. When a newcomer joins a group of friends things start to change and when they decide to have a holiday together there is lots of tension between them and suddenly things start to change. and things may change forever. Think this will appeal to the younger reader I enjoyed it but wasn't really my one of the best reads and I found the chapters too lon6

Julie Mathew’s Little Nothings was exactly what I’ve been craving as we edge towards summer. Being swept away to a Greek island and embroiled in someone else’s drama - I couldn’t have asked for better escapism! It took a darker turn than I would have surmised, but I liked the book all the better for the ending. An excellent dive into how agressions stack up over time and push us over the edge.

An absolutely mesmerizing read about narcisstic Ange and the little group of women she cruelly manipulates by pretending to be their friend. On a joint holiday in Greece with all their husbands and children, things get out of hand…I loved this edge-of-the-seat unputdownable twisty tale! In return for my honest opinion, through netgalley and publisher Bloomsbury Plc I was allowed to read an ARC.

This book follows Liv and her group of friends Ange, Beth, and Binnie as they take a three-week holiday with their families in Corfu.

Ange has named the holiday Liv and Pete’s comeback tour as they have been going through a hard time.

Liv has always felt like an outsider until she met her group of friends, but she is feeling like she is losing them.

Tensions start to run high, and she turns to another holiday maker she feels she relates to on the island as she tries to work through her feelings.

Is Liv losing her friends? How far will she go to get them back?

This book is narrated fully by Liv and takes you through how she is feeling and what she plans to do to turn things around.

At first as I was getting to know the characters it did feel a little slow and I was wondering what this was all going to lead up to, and at this point I felt I related to Liv.

Then the book takes an unexpected turn as Liv feels she is losing her friends, and then it starts to get very tense and dark.

Overall, a dark and tense thriller showing just what Liv will do to get her friends back.

I received an E-ARC with the request for an honest review.

I wanted this to be so much more… it wasn’t what I expected at all.. if you’re looking for a thriller this isn’t it.

Liv as a character just wasn’t very likeable which I think was what made it difficult for me to get into, plus women who bitch about each other is never really great unless it’s going to lead somewhere

I persevered until the end however I’m sorry to say this wasn’t for me.

Thanks to Bloomsbury publishing and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a digital ARC of this book.

This is a novel about adult female friendships that in turn connect with the spouses and children. While on the surface all seems wonderful there is an underlying toxicity that threatens to destroy the dynamic between them all. It is not my favourite genre when women seem to be pitted against each other and portrayed as jealous and self serving. I found Liv's character annoying as she seemed to have very little back bone and was unable to express her true feelings as she was continuously swept along with the plans of her friends, whether or not she wanted to partake or even could afford to. I had expected it to be more of a thriller. I did like the descriptions of Corfu. While I did finish the book and found it overall okay, it's not one I would recommend if you wanted a thrilling read.

I thought this book was okay, but it didn't really set my world alight. I didn't like the main character and found it all a bit dreary. Sorry not for me.
