Lots of tropes here that I love, even if I wasn't a fan of the main character. A lot of the miscommunication trope is irritating to me.

Harper and Jason are two headstrong, stubborn lawyers in the third instalment of The Mile High Romance series. The author does an excellent job of giving both Harper and Jason distinct voices while not overwhelming the reader with the dual timeline writing style. While much of the story depicts the characters as immature and, frankly, annoying, the reader must keep in mind that both characters are young at the start of their drama and are unwilling to be the first to admit defeat in their collective heartbreak. Who hasn't felt this way about their first love?

I enjoyed this story and I thought that it had a really good story line.

I thought that the story was romantic and sexy and the characters were great.

The story was told by both characters which it one of my favourite ways that authors use to tell a story and I lived how this one gave you a sense of how they really felt.

Well written and thoroughly enjoyable - it is 4 stars from me for this one, highly recommended!

I received a complimentary copy of Willfully Malicious Intent in exchange for an honest review. This is part of a series that can be read as a standalone. This is a second chance romance with flashbacks between the past and present. I'm not sure this couple should have tried for round two, but then there wouldn't have been a novel. It was easy to read, but I'd prefer to have an introduction to the past and continue on with the present.

A good book overall... Some back and forth in time with the two main characters in the book.... A slow build romance book...

A big thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 2nd book I have read by this author. I loved the first one, but this one for me was just ok. It was a quick read, I am not sure but the main characters seemed annoying-maybe it was all the flashbacks. Not sure. Apparently this one was just not for me. I will still try other books by this author as I truly enjoyed the other book. Just not my thing. 3 stars. I am sure many others will enjoy.

This is a series of books by Michele Lenard, but they are more companion novels about the same group of friends. I haven't read any books in this series, but I didn't find it hard to understand or confusing. If you had read the previous books you would have seen more of the main characters from the previous books, which you may enjoy as well.

I enjoy reading steamy novels, but this one felt a little immature to me. I think that is mainly because the "steamy" part of their relationship is happening in flashbacks to them in college, when they were more immature.

Michele Lenard did a good job telling a dual time line, giving both Harper and Jason their own unique voices. She was able to show the reasons behind both main characters decisions and growth of who they are. I loved how patient Jason was in the past timeline with Harper as she grew and became a person who could trust and love. I also understood Harper's reason for not having that trust in Jason anymore and her struggle to not become her mother.

The author does a great job of writing the chemistry between Jason and Harper, you can definitely feel the tension and sexual chemistry in both the past and current timelines.

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick, light read with some heavy emotions. I will pick up Michele Lenard's book in the future. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an open and honest review. All opinions are 100% mine.

ARC provided by Netgalley for an honest review.
Willfully Malicious Intent for me was an okay read. It wasn't for me. I found the characters to be annoying. The banter between the two main characters was annoying. I love reading romance books and yes I read erotic novels. These main characters were just extremely immature and way too sex crazed. I'm not saying anything bad about the author or her writing style. This just wasn't for me.

Jason and Harper meet in law school and hook up, but it's work for Jason to keep her. He finds out about her side hustle and feels betrayed and dumps her. Years later they are thrown back together when his friend and her client marry. Misunderstandings are slowly unraveled and true love wins.

My first book by this author and it definitely won't be my last. I love a short and sweet romcom especially a second chance romance. Lots of romantic and steamy scenes

Harper and Jason’s romance is told flipping between now and then allowing us to build a picture of who they are and how they got here. The love, hate passion relationship is strongly told and although the central misunderstanding doesn’t seem that big a deal it clearly is to our couple, trust is a huge part of the tale and learning to deal with a relationship when the trust has been shattered was evoked well.

Loved this book!!! The steamy scenes were exactly that and the character development made you cheer for the couple to succeed. Great book. Will check out the rest of the series.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
I am usually not a big fan of second chance romances but this book included flashbacks of the couples first meeting and relationship as it grew. It helped the reader see how deep their connection was when first meeting.
I would definitely read more by this author.
