I really liked this story, We first meet Autumn and Toby the morning after the night before, it soon comes to be known that Toby spent his night in Vegas getting very drunk and making Autumn lose her job, to make it up to her he decides to help her get a new job but they end up marrying instead and this is where the story begins.
I liked both characters, I found them to be believable and easy to like. Though they both had faults you could quickly see how they bought out the best in each other. A really enjoyable read

A highly enjoyable romance with emotion and humour throughout. Newly titled Viscount Toby and casino waitress Autumn wake up in Vegas having drunkenly got married, and what starts as a dilemma of how to overcome the situation soon turns into a heartfelt story of two lost souls falling for each other against the odds and worrying about how to make this temporary marriage a permanent thing.
The characters are likeable and you really do root for Toby and Autumn to see past the barriers they have put between themselves and happiness in order to seize this chance at happiness once the story moves back to Toby's ancestral home in England. The dialogue is excellent, and special mention must be given to Autumn's big 'you don't need to save me, I can save myself' speech in chapter 2, and as a result of this speech, you warm so much to Autumn and the reality of what being married to Toby now means for her.
The supporting characters are also engaging, and it is good to know that the next book will focus on Finn, not to mention the intrigue from the brief appearance of Toby's half-brother Max.
I really enjoyed reading this book and recommend it as a slice of feel-good romance which will leave you smiling.

Fantastic feel good read!

I absolutely loved Toby and Autumn’s story. The chemistry and genuine care for one another was lovely and refreshing. I loved the relationships the author created. I can't wait for the next two books in this series to find out Finn and Max's story.

This is a true gem of a book and you will finish it in one sitting with a good cup of tea!

A romantic take on the cliché of the titled landowner being chased for his money and title. You have empathy for both Autumn and Toby as they fumble around ignoring what they feel thinking about the childhood and upbringing. A few twists are thrown in for good measure, including a half brother born output of wedlock to hint back at the eighteenth century romances!

Cute idea but I couldn't get into this book. The characters were one dimensional. Toby is a viscount and just inherited the title after a family death Autumn a waitress whom has just got out of a bad relationship and lost everything. Toby need help so enlist her to be his wife for a short period of time after this they fall in love. I feel this story could of been flushed out more to give you a better insight to the characters.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and Mills and Boon in return for an honest review.

Autumn and Toby's story has a great premise: Drunken, accidental marriage in Las Vegas turns into a Marriage of Convenience whilst Toby arranges the sale of the family estate which he's recently inherited along with a title.

As Autumn takes on the duties of Viscountess with skill and aplomb, Toby realizes he actually wants to take on the responsibilities that come with his new position and sees that Autumn is the wife he wants to keep.

They succumb to the attraction which led to their marriage in the first place and grow closer.

It is beautifully and engagingly written until we get to the Black moment when Autumn leaves because she doesn't want to have a happy ever after with Toby. Her reasoning simply lacked all logic or reasonable explanation as far as I was concerned! Her motivation just made no sense to me. Eventually, of course, she realises she's made a mistake, (after Toby chases her to Las Vegas and works far too hard to convince her that they will work.

It's well written, and I did enjoy reading it but I couldn't buy into Autumn's hangups so I've knocked a star off.

This story has romance with humour, passion and poignancy. The plot has a few surprises but is in keeping with the category romance genre. The characters are likeable, and their gradual emotional connection is believable. The romantic ending leaves the reader feeling satisfied.
