This is incredible. It's got beautiful, surreal art (I love the lack of detailed faces and how emotional the story is regardless), it's got a great ghost story -- it's about the power of creation when the things you create are dark, it's about the desires put into each book, it's about need and want in self expression. The way all that is mixed together with the ongoing thread of the night time talk radio is just -- it's just really great. It keeps its conclusions vague, but in a way that just really perfectly works with the genre and lets you form your own conclusions.

Simply gorgeous art style! I loved everything about the look for this comic. The simple style and limited colors were dramatic and atmospheric.
I just wish the story had been more clear. I understood most of what was happening, but not what it meant. *spoilers* I believe the story has a sad twist and that one or more characters aren't really alive. But after reading through the whole story twice, I still couldn't understand the tunnels timeline or exactly what the hidden story is.
I'm so looking forward to reading this again once someone explains it to me!

This was a strange one. I loved the art style and colors. The book was extremely atmospheric but that's pretty much it. I was confused about the plot, the characters, and the ending. What was that story? It was a slow read with it building up tension and it going nowhere. I cannot remember the main character's name and what her deal was. The ending was even more confusing than the rest of the book. If you like surrealist beautiful and witchy drawings, read this. If you want a story to follow with engaging and makes sense with an ending that is satisfying this is not for you.
