Whoever invented the saying OPPOSITES ATTRACT, I'm sure they had Deirdra and Jagger in mind.
These two couldn't be more different even if they tried. She was a no-nonsense workaholic and he was a free spirit not wanting to put roots. She had a lot of unresolved issues from her past that kept preventing her from moving on. She has buried her hurts so deep it seems impossible for her to move on with her life. Enters Jagger who manages to break through her wall and shows her that there is more to life than 80 hours workdays. The more time they spend together, the more she realizes that she has been hiding for far too long and with his help she can finally see what makes her really happy.

It was a pleasure to see Deirdra transforming before my eyes and seeing her fall in love with Jagger. Hopefully this series continues because I've grown quite fond of this little island and its residence and am looking forward to reading more of their shenanigans.

I'd never heard of this author so I went into this completely blind. While I'm not a fan of this book, I think a lot of people will be. I could not stand the main character, all she did was complain about everything. I finally gave up at about 20%. I'll give this author another shot for sure, this one was just a miss for me.

What a journey for Deirdre! I have always felt she deserved more when she made an appearance in other books. You knew she was hiding. Jagger was perfect for her. He was able to pull the true Deidre out of her shell. Jagger and Deidre were perfect for each other. I loved their story. This truly is a story supporting that life can be anything you dream and push yourself too.

Maybe We Won't is a heartfelt romance with all the feels. Deirdre and Jaggers story has everything I look from this author - great story and characters, plenty of chemistry between the two leads and a wonderful romance. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

I almost DNF’d this one. There just wasn’t much of a story here, and I was getting bored. However, I’m glad I read until the end so that I’d finally get to see what Didi’s mom had written in her letter and how the workaholic attorney and the aimless hippy would find love.

I’ve always enjoyed Foster’s books and have read a good percentage of her titles. Unfortunately, this series just didn’t hold my attention and I can’t even remember how the other two sisters’ love stories played out. Unless you’re a diehard Foster fan, I’d skip this trilogy.

What happens when a handsome, free-spirited hippy and a serious, beautiful attorney find themselves falling in love? All the things! This was a delicious and heartfelt read. It’s another big winner for Melissa Foster.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Deirdra is a lawyer and workaholic who comes to visit her sisters as she's on hiatus from her job. Jagger is a friend of her late mother, who was an alcoholic. These two are complete opposites but being out the absolute best in each other and it is a pleasure to read how much Jagger gets who Dierdra is and gets her to lighten up. A perfect ending for Dierdra and her sisters.

It's not a secret that I adore Melissa Foster and her large cast of characters, but with Abby, Cait, and now Deirdra, I have found a group of ladies I relate to more than any other of the Foster women!

The reverse age gap is a fun aspect to this couple. Deirdra had to grow up fast and I think it gives her a chance to slow down and make up for the moments she didn't get to initially take advantage of. Jagger is the yin to her yang and I find that they are much better together, than apart.

Despite their differences, Deirdra and Jagger have a connection of the souls and it's absolutely breathtaking to read about as it unfolds. They're the perfect balance that they each didn't realize they needed.

Melissa's ability to present real-life situations (i.e. Deirdra's mother's alcoholism and Jagger's family situation with Gage's autism) brought this book to the top of my favorites. She didn't make it a grandiose expression, but instead, made it authentic and it flowed well throughout the plot. The letter from Deirdra's letter had me in tears, as did Jagger's story of his childhood and dedication to Gage. Their pasts truly connected to who they had become and were a perfectly executed segue into who they become when they're together.

A story filled with emotion, family and friends.
Determined characters fill the pages with angst and joy to bring us a wonderful weekend read.

First, a word of warning, this will take you on an emotional ride, and it’s totally worth it (but maybe keep the tissues nearby). This was definitely an opposites attract story - need for control Deirdra and free spirit Jagger. Despite Deridra’s reluctance to admit Jagger is the person she needs in her life, it’s absolutely clear from the first moment these two are in the same room together. If you’re looking for a romance that will remind you that sometimes, you get what you need but not what you want, and that happy endings can come true, even if you’ve stopped looking for them, then you’ve found your next read!

We’re back on Silver Island and I absolutely loved Abby and Aiden! I really enjoyed getting to know each character but I was obsessed with their chemistry and relationship! This book gets steamy but it’s also the most adorable relationship.

If you’re a fan of a bit of an age-gap, contemporary romance and some steam, you’ll love this one! I was totally obsessed and finished it in just a few days! 😍🔥

Deirdra and Jagger are the true definition of opposites attract in Maybe We Won't by Melissa Foster!

We've already been able to visit Silver Harbor before, and have had glimpses of these two characters, so I was beyond excited to finally get to their full story. Deirdra has had to take on so much in her life since she was young, and ALWAYS wants to have a plan in place. So when she's faced with some difficult decisions and situations at work, she does the absolute unthinkable and takes a 2 month leave from work. Her new plan is to visit Silver Harbor for as short a time as possible and get out of dodge as fast as she can. What she doesn't expect is to have a literal run in with Jagger one night! Their first encounter in the book truly had me laughing out loud.

Jagger is everything that Deirdra avoids. He lives life day by day, and lives in an RV with his dog! Talk about someone Deirdra has no business getting involved with!

These two were such a great addition to these stories and the Silver Harbor series. Jagger sees inside Deirdra to the core of who she really is, and the love and happiness she really craves. The story takes us on an adventure of love, forgiveness, and taking chances for true happiness. 5 stars!

This is a book of healing and forgiveness. Deirdra is a workaholic. Never having time for anything including her family. She despised going back to the island mainly for the bad memories. Memories of her growing up and having to take care of her mother and sister at the age of eleven when her father died. She put all her dreams on hold and even now refuses to think about those dreams. Now she meets Jagger. When she first meets him, she only sees him as a hippie living in his van. Getting to know him he shows her what life is all about. To enjoy it to the fullest. To stop and smell the roses. She starts to learn what life is all about. The importance of it is family and not how many hours you work. Spending time you will never get back. Appreciating everything your family does. Jagger also helps her heal and forgive her mom. Deidra learns to move on from the guilt and hurt and bad feelings she has carried since she was a little girl. He teaches her to live life to the fullest. She is finally living the life she always wanted but gave up on when she had to become the adult at 11 years old to take care of her mom and sister because of Jagger.
This is a story of opposites attracting and never judging a book by it’s cover. Jagger is s much more than a man living in his RV. He himself has many dreams. Deidra and Jagger are the perfect match. They each help the other to realize their dreams and take a chance on them. As long as they are together anything is possible. With the right person, anything is possible.

I loved this book and the previous 2 in the series. You don't have to read them to understand what is going on, which is good because I read book 3 1st!

Deidra is a workaholic, big shot attorney, who's never taken a vacation.

One day, she decides to teach her boss a lesson and show him how much he needs her and she returns to Silver Island.

Her family owns the Bistro, which she has no interest in, or does she?

Enter Jagger.. He's everything you want to stay away from but Deidra can not!

He's perfect to make her remember what's important in life and how to live it to the fullest.

Thanks to NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this title, all opinions are my own.

I just reviewed Maybe We Won't by Melissa Foster. #MaybeWeWont #NetGalley

This was the perfect way to finish this series. Deidra was the most rigid of the sisters, so it only make sense for her to fall for the "hippie" of the group who can loosen her up. Jagger was a great guy and a well developed character. We really only got to see him through everyone else's eyes until this story and he had more depth than I realized. He was the perfect combination of relaxed while knowing when things were important. He helped Deidra grow into the woman she needed to be for herself and her sisters. This was a great story and I love how Melissa Foster pulled the titles from all three stories directly into a scene in this book. It felt like the perfect way to wrap everything up.

I lost interest about a quarter of the way into this book. DNF
