Everly thought she found her dream man until she found out she was pregnant and all her dreams began to crumble. Trying to start over she moves home to find a new job to support her and her son and after a great interview at Live Life Adventures, and meeting a devastatingly handsome man at her dad’s job she thinks things are starting to turn around until she finds out that the same handsome guy is one of her new bosses, and the grumpy one to boot. Blake has a lot on his plate between his business and some heartbreaking family struggles, so the last thing he needs is a beautiful distraction at work, which is all Everly would be right? After a rough start the two soon realize that they are depending more and more on each other and they start to fall in love, but will their individual family dramas soon be more than each can bear ? This is book two in the Live Life Adventures series and I can honestly say I was sure that I was going to hate Blake after his grouchiness in book one (let’s just say some of his moves put him in the jerk category), but his personal family struggles and how he was trying to cope made him seem more realistic and honestly more like someone you’d want to be with. This is a nice quick and sweet romance with a realistic vibe and a definite happy ending. While part of a series you don’t have to have read book one to enjoy this one, although I highly recommend that you do. 4.5 stars must read. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review.

This is number two in the Adventures in Love series, and they just build and build, and I am so excited to see what will come next, will we find out where Maverick runs away too? But enough about him, just like the rest of the characters in this story they all play their own part and build a great adventure. My goodness Everly has just been through so much, little Sampson is just the cutest, and she is determined to make sure he has the best. Thank goodness she allows Blake to be the one she needs, at least allows her to become her employer, the rest you will need to read the story to find out. I was just so glad that we were shown how positive a role model like Blake could be in Sampson’s life, it was so nice to see a single mother who puts her child first.

Book 2 in the Adventures in Love series sees gruff mountain adventure guide Blake falling for sweet single mum Everly in this slow burn romance. When Everly leaves her life in the city behind (including an ex boyfriend who’s treated her abysmally), she moves back home with her mum and dad. Being a single mum she receives the help and support she needs from her wonderful parents, all whilst keeping her independence working for Live Life Adventures. She also finds ‘more’ when she meets her cute but annoying boss, Blake, who it turns out is dealing with some pretty intense personal issues of his own. There’s quite a bit of push and pull between them both, with Blake seeming to blow hot and cold for some time. Eventually a wonderful friendship is born, and surprisingly Blake becomes the father figure that Sam’s dad never was. It was lovely seeing how sweet he was with Sam. The characters didn’t quite give me all the feels that Tanner and Cybil did in book 1 Rushed, but I was still invested throughout and desperate for Blake and Everly to get their happy ever after. A sweet and at times emotional (I did shed a tear at one point) romance with a wonderful group of friends and family supporting throughout. It might have felt a little rushed towards the end, that said I really enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to book 3, which I’m really hoping will be Maverick’s story.

I enjoyed this book. I have read several books by this author and she always gives a solid read. I will continue to look for books by this author.

Everly is a single mam and in desperate need of a job after her break up with Lex, the father of her child Sampson. When she gets accepted by Live Life Adventures, she thinks that she can finally relax and start her life anew. Nevertheless, an unexpected attraction for her grumpy boss, Blake, makes things difficult for her again. Everly is not ready to trust a man, not after the disappointment caused by Lex, who is never been interested in the kid but now wants to fight so that his parents can have grandparents’ rights. With too much on her plate, Everly is convinced she can’t give Blake a chance. But life has a lot of surprises for her…

This books didn’t start well for me. I found it extremely predictable, at the beginning, and many times I had the impressions that entire chunks of chapters had gone missing, since the narration was very much rushed. Nevertheless, after a while, I found myself intrigued by the story and, even though it’s not the best romance book I’ve ever read, it is still enjoyable. The best part of the story is Sampson: I loved the unfolding of the relationship between the kid and Blake, and I also liked Everly as a mam. To me, this book was far more interesting in the parts which did not involve the romance itself. All in all, it was an enjoyable and quick read.

I loved this second book of the series about a group of friends and their outdoor adventure company. This one is the growly Blake and sweet single mom Everly. Blake was a down right a$$ in the first book. It was worth it to find out his back story.

Everly could not have been a better match for Blake. She is sweet but willing to hold her ground. She has been burned badly but Blake just steps up and makes her and her son feel like they are all that is important in the world.

Loved seeing all the friends together. Looking forward to Maverick's book now. I hope we get to see more of Blake and Everly again as well.

This second book in this series was just as good as the first. Blake and Everly were just so sweet together. Everly is a single mom who gets hired on at Blake’s company Blake is drawn to her immediately but comes across as a grump. They both have a lot going on in their lives but as they begin to spend time with each other and leaning on each other their love grows.

A wildly adventurous five-star read that will show you what life is about. This is number two in the Adventures in Love series, and they just build and build, and I am so excited to see what will come next, will we find out where Maverick runs away too? Why on earth did I think I could pick this book up last night and just read fifty paged before bed? I have been bleary eyed all day because I just needed to read one more chapter and then one and "Oh that was so sweet! I need to see what happens next," until the book was finished and I was afraid to see what time it. was.

Everly moves back home with her baby son when she finally faces up to the fact that his father is never actually going to step up and act like a father. it is the time to start making only smart decisions. Falling for her hot, cranky boss would not qualify as a smart decision would it?

This book hooked me with the gruff hero and kept me ensnares with scenes of the gruff hero being absolutely adorable with a baby. There almost didn't need to be anything other than that to the story but both Everly and Blake have family issues to deal with as they create their own. This is such a great series and I cannot wait for book three,

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A really nice sweet romance. The perfect book to curl up with on a cold winters afternoon.Everly is a strong character who deserves to find a good man.

This is the 2nd book in the Adventures in Love series. This is a great small town romance. Everly a single month of a 10 month old whose ex wants nothing to do with the child and Blake a grumpy ex military guy who ends up being her employer. I loved Everly as a character and could relate to her issues. She has to move back in with her parents after her split with her ex and really does not trust her gut with men. Blake was a real jerk in the last book and it was nice to see him redeem himself in my eyes. He was great with Everly's son Sampson and really stood by her with her ex's parents and the drama they caused. Another great book by Aurora Rose Reynolds.

I received this book from Netgalley for my honest review.

I really enjoyed reading about Everly and Blake. Their story was really good and I love it so much that I really wish I another book to read just like this one Such a great book

I am a big Aurora Rose Reynolds fan. I love her alpha heroes and spunky, tough heroines. This book is definitely no exception - though Blake may definitely win the award for grumpiest hero (and that is saying something in a sea of biker dudes and badasses). Blake is all about his business and has been hyper focused on it since he got out of the military. He's committed to his best friends and his family - and hasn't made room in his life for anything more. He's also a total control freak. His dad has prostate cancer - and has asked Blake to keep it a secret from his mom and sister. Blake hasn't been handling it well - and is struggling to manage that along with the business.

Everly is a single mom - with a baby-daddy who has zero interest in being a dad. She's moved home to get some support from her family and start building a life for herself and her son. She quickly finds a job with Live Life Adventures - but it comes with a very grumpy Blake to whom she is seriously attracted to. It turns out they are both exactly what the other needs to get through the tough times they are going through.

Everly and Blake are adorable together - and I loved that Blake really held nothing back in their relationship. He was all in from almost the first. In true Blake fashion - once he made a decision - he stuck to it and supported Everly in a very real way. Everly does the same for him - and I loved that their relationship - after the 30-40% mark really is never even a question mark.

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

***5 Stars***

Sometimes the universe works with you, other times against you.

This time it was working with me because I just finished Rushed (book #1) and just so happened to have this baby on the kindle (big mahalos to the publisher & NG) AND had the time to dive in to it and OMG…it was just as good, if not better, than the first. And believe me, I wasn’t expecting that all considering…but it was…it was SOOO good!

So why was it good? Blake, Everly and Sampson. I wasn’t a fan of Blake’s in Rushed. There were too many moments where I wanted to Gibbs smack him, but I figured I needed to give him a chance and lemme tell you…this man…total book boyfriend goodness. Everly is a force. Sweet, sassy, not afraid to tell it like it is and an amazing mama. This woman isn’t afraid to ask for help when she needs it, but she can also stand on her own two feet when necessary.

Blake and Everly’s journey to their HEA was really a lot of fun, and yes, Sampson played a huge part in it since his interactions with both of them showed each other, and us the readers, just what made them tick and how golden their hearts really are. I loved watching them all get to know each other and become friends, lovers and then family.

This was a great addition to the series. It all that I loved about Rushed and a little more aka Sampson to make it a little different, but still have that same vibe that had me smiling the entire time. While the angst is low, there is a good dose drama that kept things interesting. I loved Everly and Blake’s parents and getting to hang out with Tanner, Cybil, Mason & Margaret was a lot of fun. Now for Mav to get his HEA!

From some references made midway in Rushed, I was surprised to see who the heroine would be here. I liked her, the dynamic was good. You definitely dont see the same Blake referenced in the first book. What I didn’t like was the references we get to another potential and they just wrapped up with a line in the epilogue. I wanted so much more for them. In a C list character note, how did Lauren and Oliver end up actually marrying? She was horrid in the first book.

I have to admit that I was wondering how Blake was going to redeem himself in Risky after being such a turd in Rushed. ARR couldn't have picked a better heroine to help him do that. Everly was a sweet single mom who had been going through some stuff since she found out she was pregnant. Moving home with her ten-month-old son to live with her supportive parents wasn't what she wanted, but it put her in Blake's path and that was the best thing ever.

Everly was one of those characters I felt for from the very beginning. Her single mother status and the reason why she was one hit my heart hard. I couldn't imagine having to deal with what she did. Everly took what life had thrown at her and moved on to do the best she could for herself and her son. I loved and respected her character.

Back to Blake winning me over. There were three things that did that for me. The first was how he instantly connected and cared for Everly's son, Samson. Blake and Samson bonded instantly, and I can't even explain how adorable it was. The second was how Blake supported Everly through the tough spots with her ex. He didn't have to do that before they were even a couple, but he did. The final thing was learning what was going on in Blake's life. He was carrying a heavy burden that would make anyone a grouch.

Things didn't start smoothly for Blake and Everly, but the more time they spent together the better things got. They had an obvious attraction to each other and, as things go in ARR stories, quickly ended up with strong feelings for each other. This didn't feel quite as instant lovey as some of her books, but it did progress quickly. I didn't mind that at all. Blake and Everly complimented each other so well that I could easily see them celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in the future. The only thing that could have made this better was more pages and a more in depth look at how Everly and the ex's family moved on. Well, that and I wondered what exactly happened with the Mason thing. Are we getting a book for him?

I loved being back in the Adventures in Love series. Risky was a good addition to it and I can't wait for Maverick's book.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
What a unique story this is. The author does a great job with character development and connecting the readers with the characters.
Blake comes off as a grumpy solemn adventurous man and Everly is the sweet and beautiful single mother of Sampson. They begin with trying to ignore one another when they end Up working together but all those around them can see how good they are for one another.
As both sides of their families delve into real life issues, these two grow closer and learn to lean on each other.
This is a sweet book of laughter, tears and love. Great read in my book.

Risky gave me all the feels. I loved Everly and Blake finding their happy ending. Sam was so cute. These three deserved their happy ending. So good. I read this book straight through because 8 could not put it down. Ms. Reynolds did it again! Risky was such a good read. This series feels similar to her Until series. Now I need Mavericks story.

Risky is the 2nd book in the (Adventures in Love) series by Aurora Rose Reynolds, this is Blake's story. We find out why he was so grumpy in the first book and we get to see him fall in love.

Everly moved back in with her parents because the man she fell in love with and had a baby with did not want their son. Who is so freaking cute.

This story is about two people who have a lot on their plates but by helping each other their own burdens lessen.

This story overall was a light, happy read, with a little bit of darkness going with Blake's dad.

This was such a heartwarming, sweet, small town romance. Everly is a single mother just out of a difficult relationship when she moves back home to her small town in Montana. Finding work at Live Life Adventures is a dream, with the exception of Blake, one her bosses there. He is grumpy and frustrating, but oh so very attractive. Both Everly and Blake are at turning points in their lives, dealing with serious situations and how to move forward through them. Everly is fearful of trusting not only someone else, but her own feelings and judgements. Blake has always put his life's work first and has not made time for anything or anyone else. The attraction between the two is instant and intense. I loved how Blake is grumpy and disgruntled, but puts people he loves first and will do anything for him. He feels a connection right away to Sampson, Everly's son, and has no qualms showing his affection for him. This was such a heartfelt, heartwarming and sweet romance that you can't help but smile throughout. I loved everything about this, and can't wait now for the next in the series!
