If you're looking for a nice, romantic story, with likable characters with back stories that add depth to the book, you mightn't have to look any further.

The writing is very good and engaging, the story felt a bit too long and somewhat unrealistic at times, but the romance was cute and I enjoyed listening to it

The narrators were fantastic!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ALC in exchange for an honest review

This is an adorable, big warm hug of a book. Featuring two very likeable characters, both dealing with their own traumatic histories, I was swept away by their stories. The book made me feel hopeful for both Lachie and Bethan and I really enjoyed it. I absolutely whizzed through this book and couldn't wait to find out what would happen. Definitely one I'd recommend for romantic fiction fans. This was my first book by Miranda Dickinson but I expect I will pick up some of her others after having enjoyed this one so much.

You can’t beat a good old fashioned chick-lit. I can’t read too many of them as I start to think that life will always have a happy ending, but I do like a good one now and then.
This book was engaging and entertaining, a little frustrating at times (will they won’t they get together -Sort of thing). However, I really enjoyed it, a bit of escapism. I listened to this as an audio book and loved the narrators. I think they helped me build a better picture of the characters - so easy to listen to.
As super easy read- loved it!
