This was a good dystopian, apocalyptic book. Personally, I'm more interested in what happens during the coming apocalypse, viral or otherwise. I'm less interested in how we manage after society has failed us. That is no slight against the author by any means. The book is good and it did keep my attention for the most part given I'm not terribly interested in the after effects of the apocalypse. If you like how we build back, how we survive in a desolate landscape, this is the book for you.

I enjoyed this novel immensely. A very good dystopian novel. Loved the characters and the storyline, even if we never learn a lot of the why's.

I enjoyed the way this was written, it flowed so well and pulled me right along. I found the characters and setting intriguing right from the start. I will definitely look for more by this author.

I found this book to be really intriguing. It was well written with good characters and an interesting storyline. It was full of heartbreaking and heartwrenching moments but it was also full of hope, friendship and love. this book was so emotive and full of vivid imagery that just helped build the story. An enjoyable read.
