It’s a shame that this book that sounded so promising has such a horrible main character. If you paid me to like her I really would not be able to muster it. So as a result the entire book was a flop for me, nevermind the fact that it’s apparently part of a series and I didn’t realise.

Another great Callaghan story this time following Lucy.

If you’ve enjoyed the other Callaghan stories you’ll definitely enjoy this one. A wonderful book filled with laugh out loud moments

I really liked the premise of this one, and wanted to love it. However, there did feel like a bit of a disconnect not having read the series before and I also found it a bit slow/easy to forget about.

A fun well written book. Really enjoyed reading this. Thanks to publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to read

This book was okay, but I didn’t enjoy it that much. I somehow felt disconnect from the start and a little confused. From the looks of the book, this is supposed to be funny, but I guess it just didn’t fit me.

The family dynamic in this book is what makes it so appealing for me. It is wholesome and lighthearted. A hint of humour too. I laughed at some of the insults in this book lol.

I haven't read any other books from this series so I did go in completely blind and wasn't confused about who was who.

A tragic accident with a bus leads to Lucy losing the memories of the last ten years of her life. She wakes up thinking she's a 17 year old girl, who is still going out with her teenage boyfriend.

Lucy's family reunited and come back together under one roof in hope to bring her memories back. The strong family environment is so lovely to read about.

I thought this was a fun book but I don't understand where the title comes from. It's not that important.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read this book.✨

I was so curious about this title and I found myself annoyed since the very beginning by the main character.
I've tried to keep going with the story and wait but the situation didn't change and the writing style didn't help me at all.
I'm really afraid it isn't my cup of tea and I'm really sorry about that. I had great expectations for this book, right now it's a DNF.

This book made Kristen Bailey one of my to watch authors. It was funny, while still delivering. I enjoyed it from start to finish. This is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone and you won't be lost. I'll be checking out the rest of this series!

I really wanted to like this one because honestly that title and synopsis sounded so good. However this one just really missed the mark for me and I ended up dnf-ing the book.

I've seen quite a few people have enjoyed this one so don't let this review stop you from picking it up!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

This is a great book and works as a standalone because I didn't realize it was part of a series and it still made sense.

Am I Allergic to Men follows the story of Lucy. The youngest out of the five Callaghan Sisters. She's young, free, feisty and single, until one day a tragic accident turns her life around.

Lucy wakes up from a coma with significant memory loss. With the help of her four sisters she tries to regain her memory to piece together who she really is.

Kristin Bailey is a magnificent writer, she is able to capture humour within her characters which can unfortunately cause you to snort laughing out loud.

Having read all the other books I was excited to read Lucy's story. It was quite unexpected that there was a degree of seriousness for Lucy. In the other stories she's a joker, the youngest and quite wild. This was a welcome surprise to read because I feel it reflects that even those with goofy personalities can also have their own problems on the inside.

However it is still such a funny book with some cracking one liners and I enjoyed reading it.

I'm quite disappointed this could be the end of the Callaghan Sisters as I have enjoyed reading the books. Kristin Bailey displays a wonderful sisterhood that can never be broken.

I adored this book as I read it at the right time for me and I just couldn't stop laughing.
Lucys character was hilarious, she pushed the limit, she just didn't care and was very free in personality. It was cringe and far fetched in parts when you go back on a journey with her but Its all light hearted.
But I did like that not only did we learn about her romantic relationships but relationships with her family and friends and made it more likeable.
It is worth a read if you want a funny read.

I was super intrigued by the title of this book and it was really great, highly recommend. It’s not the RomCom I expected but it was still good

Loved this book., Lucy was brilliant and good to hear about her life too.. Some funny moments and some sad ones. It was a shame this series was ending, but I look forward to see what is new from the author. Would recommend.. most definitely.

Grateful to recieve this ARC. I loved this book, you can tell by the title that it would be a comedy, but it didn’t deceive! I was thinking it would be a romance, which it unfortunately is not, but i still really enjoyed it. Lucy was a great main character and i think she was written well.

book that I started with a tinge of sadness because here was the story of the last of the Callaghan sisters . A book I had looked forward to reading yet signalled the end of the raucous journey I had been on with all the girls. Stories that had given me love, laughter, sadness and the occasional crying down my legs as I struggled to contain the hilarity I felt. As the youngest Lucy had all the benefits of her sisters paving the way for her to be herself. They cherished her , nurtured her and allowed her to follow her own path in life. Lucy was the fun sister , the naughty aunt and the spirit that brought light when the darkness threatens to overwhelm her sisters. I really enjoyed Lucy journey to recovery and enlightenment , the stories her sisters told her of her antics. The fierce way they protected her as she recovered and the lengths they went to in order to facilitate her journey. The book was funny, sad, uplifting and as always with the authors books a joy to read. The epilogue was a fitting ending to the book and one I hope leaves the door open to catch up with the sisters in future as they grow older and disgraceful together. To keep the fun going a little longer there is a link further down this post to find out which sister you are. Have a go I did, keep reading to see which sister I got.

Am I Allergic to Men? is very funny, very raunchy and full of some of the best sister bonding I have ever seen written. Lucy is a free spirit and has a lot of sisters, she has an accident and thinks she is 17 instead of 30. I didnt love Lucy, she was too much for me but I loved how much she loved her sisters and isnt afraid to be who she is at every moment of every day. The book truly shines though when it has the sisters all together and bonding, singing, chatting, etc. I loved the sisters and how they bring out the best and worst of each other, and compliment each other completely.
