Wow I’m utterly speechless, I had no idea where this book would go.

Grace and Marcus have been together for over 14 years, with a seven year old Kaia to keep them on their toes.

But when Kaia has an accident, falling out of a tree she begins to accuse her father of the deed. Kaia has said Marcus pushed her.

Grace can hardly believe what she hears and she struggles with whether to believe her daughter, with everything to loose how could she believe something so horrible?

She begins to wonder what she can do, her brother Josh is thousands of miles away, her best friend Coco abandoned her years ago, and her mother is taking Marcus’ side even tho all signs point to something sinister going on.

The story follows a dual timeline shifting from 2005 to 2019 and even to 2010-2011. We learn more about the past and how it has spun toward the situation in present time.

The ending left me uneasy and wanting more as we are given a sliver of a scene that could unfold.

Thank you to NetGalley, HQ Digital, and of course Sarah Clarke for writing this intriguing novel!

Wow what a edge of the seat page turner. It starts out slow but it packs a surprise after surprise. You can't turn the pages fast enough. But the ending has a very big surprise.

Every Little Secret started off a touch on the slower side, and I had to re-read a few pages but I’m so glad I stuck with it. Having never read any Sarah Clarke before I’m definitely converted!

A seemingly happy family with a wonderful life, until accusations threatened to blow that apart. But who should Grace believe, her daughter or beloved husband? She has to pick a side, in an unimaginable test!

Truths are left until the end to be revealed keeping the reader drawn in throughout. A brilliantly written, fast paced psychological thriller.

Thank you to Sarah and HQ for the ARC.

Wow, this was one of the most entertaining domestic thrillers that I have had the opportunity to read lately. The protagonist seems to have an enviable life, but there is some tension simmering under the surface. Her relationship with her spouse is fractured and that contributes to the sense of gloom… Highly recommend reading!

Really enjoyed this psychological, twisty, turny thriller. Grace’s seemingly happy family starts falling apart when her daughter Kaia accuses her father of abuse.

Thought the characters were believable and interesting. The horror of being caught between your daughter and your husband was horrifyingly realistic. Back story interesting and fun, especially the teenage years. Kept you guessing. Lots of shocks.

The ending felt a bit rushed. And some of the outcomes felt a shade too far fetched. (I don’t want to spoiler but finding out more about Kaia’s origin made some of the “could her father hurt her” psychology less powerful.

But overall great. Read it in one sitting. Will check out more by the author.

Childhood spent in far-away places because your parents are “traveling on the continent” can be lonesome. Ah, Paris in the spring, Borneo in the fall, and many exotic places in between. To the outsider, Grace has it all.

Adulthood comes along and the life of a constant vacation comes to an end. What can a world-traveled young woman do after that? Marriage and a happy family with the man of her dreams? Can Cinderella’s life continue ad infinitum? Perhaps Grace has a rude awakening in her future!

Sarah Clarke has created a believable cast of characters in a very tortured life. The happy ending becomes a nightmare when an old flame shows up to be the fly in the ointment. There is a baby involved and the protagonist is married to a wonderful young man who helps her raise a lovely child. Kaia is a very bright, precocious child who begins to come off the rails.

This novel is very engaging and my emotions were pulled every which way. The antagonist is beyond despicable and my desire was that Grace begin to take target practice. The twists and turns made me wish for any outcome that would end the antagonist’s existence. Read and see if you have the same impression! 4.5 stars - C.E. Williams

I haven't read the author's previous book, but I absolutely loved this one. I couldn't put it down.

The story is about Grace, her husband Marcus whom she's known since they were teenagers, and their young daughter, Kaia. A seemingly happy family, until Kaia makes a shocking accusation about her father. Grace finds herself in the horrifying position of having to chose to believe her daughter or her husband. This sets wheels in motion for a whole host of secrets and deceit to be unveiled.

I wholly believed in the characters and was willing Grace on to uncover the truth! The plot twists and turns, so you are never really sure who to trust or believe.

As I read a lot of psychological thrillers, I do find myself guessing "whodunit" a lot of the time, but I was really pleased that I didn't with this book.

Definitely recommend. I'll be eagerly awaiting the author's next book.

Thanks to author Sarah Clarke, publishers HQ and Net Galley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Whew, y'all. This book had me hook, line, and sinker.

Marcus, Grace, and their daughter, Kaia, seem to have it all together. They have a nice house, work good jobs, and generally seem to enjoy being the tight-knit family that they are. Everything changes the afternoon Kaia falls out of a tree and tells the doctor her dad pushed her.

Should Grace believe her daughter or her husband? Put in an absolutely horrible place, Grace has to choose a side, before even more secrets are unraveled.

Likable, believable characters made me not want to put this one down. The bond between mother and child and husband and wife is one so strong even I would find it hard to choose. Throughout the book, I was constantly asking myself the question, who is telling the truth?

The end will leave you open-mouthed as secrets are told and the real victim is revealed. Take a chance on Sarah Clarke- you won't regret it!

This is a great book.
Grace and Marcus are happy until their daughter, Kaia starts to cause doubt between them.
Kaia is very close to her mum and dad but when she starts to appear to be scared of her dad, Grace starts to worry.
There’s more to this than meets the eye and it’s not revealed until later on the story.
There’s flashback chapters to Marcus and Grace when they met and at first I didn’t see the relevance, but again it becomes clear later.
A clever family drama with secrets at it centre.
Thanks to HQ and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Every Little Secret, by Sarah Clarke, started out a bit slowly for me. It was just interesting enough to keep you reading, then you're hooked. Just when you think you know who you can trust, you find out that's not the case. This is an ongoing issue, and you are pulled on to the end, desiring to know the truth. Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing me with an ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

A bit slow to start but once it gets going you have no choice but to get stuck into it to find out what is happening. I had no idea who to believe, it kept me guessing right up until the end. Enjoyable book and great style of writing.

Grace has been with the love of her life, Marcus, since she was a teenager. Their life seems so perfect. But underneath it all, they share a huge secret. One that they fear would destroy their lives and family if the wrong people found out. Who can she trust with their secret when things seem to be crashing down around her? She must talk to someone. Her brother is across the ocean, where he has been for years. And she hasn’t heard from her best friend in years. Marcus seems to be acting strangely lately. When their daughter makes some shocking accusations after sustaining a concussion, Grace must choose between their family secret and protecting her daughter.

A great story by Sarah Clarke! I love a story told from many viewpoints, and this one switched between characters and time. Flashbacks from their teenage years to their young adult life and then to present day, allows the reader to understand what really led to the present-day situation. The surprising twists when things finally came together was excellent and had me sitting on the edge of my seat, needing to read more and more.

A great big thank you to NetGalley, HQ, and Sarah Clarke for allowing me to read this advanced reading copy. This ARC was provided to me in exchange for my honest review.

Thoroughly enjoyable novel. A novel about trust, about who you should believe. It's a novel about unconditional love and how that can sometimes cause great pressure within a person. It's a novel that, once it gets going, moves quickly. And the last section - wow, you'll have no choice but to power your way through, it's that exciting. Forget the washing up, forget going to bed, this takes priority! Great book.
