I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

This is so true to what you would imagine really goes on with these dating shows on television. And even if you know it's not going to be good you can't help but watch (or read) this story was so well in its storytelling, the characters were great even when you dislike them, you get invested and can't put it down

I’m just gonna say this: are you a fan of The Bachelor? Then this book is written absolutely for you, it’s basically a season of The Bachelor disguised as a book and you won’t even notice you’re already at the end of it because it runs so smoothly you’ll find yourself turning page after page hour after hour until you will reach the conclusion.

im obsessed with this one. love the concept of the plot and the writing was easy to follow. the ending got me cried for a lil bit.

This was a great spin on The Bachelor TV show and I really enjoyed it. I will be reading more of Kerr in the future.

My obsession with Bachelor-style romances began years ago with the publishing of The Selection and still continues to this day, I really enjoy these types of books and I'm glad The Selection led me here

I have to say first and foremost, I enjoyed this book. This book was the first book I fully read in a long time and the only one I was really able to grasp on in the middle of a huge mental health drain/reading slump.

While this book was overall enjoyable, I found that there was some pretty big problems, namely the pacing and. conflicts.

I feel like pacing was the biggest issue in this book. The show in the book is said to last twelve weeks and by 54% of the book, we were still talking about week one/two. I feel this severely impacts seeing how any of the relationships develop and getting to know the characters. Dates after this point become limited to a few chapters or pieces of chapters and things seem sudden because we miss so much. It's hard to justify a character leaving/being sent home and to feel something about it when we get so little. I do think this problem could have been solved by lengthening the book to accommodate more bits and pieces from the middle weeks and by cutting some of the initial pieces before the halfway mark that contribute to the early weeks being such a big piece of the book.

The second main problem I had with this book was the conflicts. I think this could potentially be because we don't get enough lead up to justify reactions that lead up to the main conflict from the suitor. The reactions just felt so sudden and random that it's hard to see them being realistic in terms of the overall plot and knowledge of the characters. I remember reading the part where the big ending conflict is introduced and just thinking how absolutely stupid and unjustified it was. The resolution also just felt like there was no working on a resolution, it just kind of gets decided and then we are rushed through to the end.

I just wanted more from this book and while it did not deliver, it was still a nice read.

3.5 rounded up. I'm a sucker for a book set in Ontario. Also, I'm a sucker for trash tv, like the Bachelor, so this book was right up my alley. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Falling for the suitor is a cute, romantic story which relates similarly to "The Batchelor". This was a unique trope to read, and quite honestly was enticed the moment I read the first page.

The female protagonist who's unsure to meet the ideal person in a reality TV show stumbles across Grayson. Grayson is known to be the "ideal" suitor amongst the many eyes to the public and contestants. It's told from a dual POV, which is a major green flag because I love to know the perspective from both characters!
Another positive is that it's a slow burn! One of the most adjourned tropes I have favoured when finding which types of books I like to read. Overall, I'll give it a 3.5.

Good for anyone looking to scratch the itch of a behind-the-scenes romance on a reality show. We get a lot of subervsions of this trope, but this is a great example of how to make the premise of a show work for the premise of a book.

This book was a fun, quick read but I really needed an epilogue! I love the setting of the reality dating show and the automatic drama that ensues there within. Bexley and Grayson had great chemistry and I was definitely rooting for their HEA.
The main issue I find with books in this type of setting is there are so many side characters and it can get confusing. And in the end I did feel like there were a handful of loose ends that I wish would have been wrapped up. What was the deal with Chrissa in the end? How did things go outside of the bubble of the show? What did Fiona think of Grayson? WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?!
This was definitely a good read because it left me wanting more! Also, I wish there had been some steam, but it was cute enough that I really didn't mind.

If you're into the bachelor/ bachelorette and love reading this is right up your alley. This book was a little slow throughout but I didn't mind too much. I enjoyed this book and the journey I went on however I don't think this is a book I'd pick up and read again.

Grayson is a former pro baseball player and he is the new Suitor for a Canadian dating show. Bexley was dared by her sister to join the show as a contestant which starts Bexley and Grayson’s story to falling in love. Opening up and loving someone is already difficult, but now add 24 other girls into the mix and millions of viewers, things just got a lot more complicated between the two of them.
Overall this was a good read if you liked dating shows and tv chaos.
I really enjoyed reading this book. If you are a fan of the bachelor you are going to love this book. If you have read The Selection , you are also going to love this book. Bexley and Grayson have incredible chemistry and compliment each other so well.

The two main characters, Grayson and Bexley, are likeable and I felt invested in the outcome and protective of them during this crazy, intense experience they’re participating in. Enjoyable read.

A good book , with a fairly new premise and characters matching pre existing tropes.Holds good essence, it is funny and the protagonist , Bexley was hilarious. Grayson is awesauce. But it is slow paced , for someone who would seek medium paced and fast paced may not really enjoy the book. The end was rushed , which would have been better if brought to at a little slow pace. On the whole a good read.

Fans of The Bachelor will love Falling for the Suitor and it's a spinoff of it.

This is my first time reading something by this author, so I didn't really have any expectations going into it. It was a quick read and I found it to be a fun and cute story. If you like The Bachelor, then this book is right up your alley. I'm not much into dating shows myself, but that did not take away from the charm of this book. It was interesting to see the interpretation of what goes on behind the scenes of a reality show and the twist the author added to it. The romance was sweet and heartwarming and the dialogue between the characters was witty and enjoyable. Bexley and Grayson were great characters and their chemistry was undeniable. I really did like seeing these characters together. I also have to say I loved the dual POV. To me, it's so much easier to get into and understand a story when you get the view of both characters. Overall, this was a really fun and entertaining book and I am looking forward to reading more books in this series!
