So, I should start off by saying I love Cinderella, so I was very much looking forward to this book!
I was just expecting more of a wow factor from this novel...but didn't pack the punch I needed...insta-love is my least favorite trope...
The writing style also didn't work for me here. either.
While it was a cute, lighthearted read., I just wanted MORE!

This is a fun book with an interesting storyline. The heroine was someone you wrote it for, and I was pleased with how her journey took place.

Diana Parker is the daughter of a con-artist, a fact that she likes to keep secret. She and her sister are there for each other, and when she has medical issues, Diana steps up to help pay the bills. She needs to find the money for surgery, so applies for a nanny position in Aspen. It is a summer job, but will pay what she needs. She is hired based on her resume with exaggerated qualifications. She is supposed to know how to ski and teach math, speak fluent French, excel at social graces, and hold a master’s degree in childhood development. Meanwhile, England’s most eligible bachelor, Griffin Windsor, is also in Aspen incognito. Griffin is there looking after his niece and when they meet, the kids develop a friendship, so Griffin and Diana follow suit. Will she be able to pull this ruse off, or will her lack of abilities give her away and force her to return home without the money?

This was my first book by Sariah Wilson and I enjoyed this fun romcom. It is a loose retelling of Cinderella, and I enjoyed the vibe. It is a perfect plot for a Hallmark movie. I really liked Diana's character. Yes, she was being dishonest, but it was for such a noble reason. She was great with her charge, and actually helped him come out of her shell. She is likable and while trying to stay only friends with Griffin, she has a hard time resisting. Griffin is an awesome counterpart to Diana. He is handsome, caring, loyal and a lot of fun to be with. He is attracted to Diana, but knows that his family would never allow them to be together. The secondary characters were also wonderful. I loved that Diana's employers were not snobby rich people, but also caring, loved their son and treated Diana as a person. The romance was a bit insta-love, but the story takes place over a month or so. There was humor, heartbreak, secrets, friendship, family and romance all rolled into a fun story that I enjoyed, although it was a bit predictable. I will look for more Sariah Wilson books. If you like a light, entertaining romance, then I recommend this one to you.

This was a cute story, but it just felt a little like it missed the mark for me personally. I loved that there were actual humorous moments and the romance between Griffin and Diana was cute, but it almost felt like it was too slow of a burn to me, and I didn't love the insta-love aspect of the romance. Still a cute and cozy, relaxing read. Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC!

Knowing I'll have genuine laugh-out-loud moments is the one thing I adore about reading a Sariah Wilson book. Nowadays, there are so many books with the term "rom-com" that never make me chuckle. When I needed a vacation from life, I looked forwards to rereading the book and chuckling at the phrases I had already marked.

I love a good retelling and I love a book that can actually make me laugh. A true romantic comedy! I also appreciate the "closed door" nature of the romance.

I don’t know if I just wasn’t in the mood for this or what but if I were someone who could tolerate DNFing books, I would have quit this one before 25%. It was just cheesy and ridiculous and hard to root for the characters. Not enough depth. Very little plot. It wasn’t terrible, it just wasn’t good.

I liked this book ok. It was insta-love on the guy's part, which isn't my favorite. Had some funny moments but not my favorite of Sariah's.

This book was okay. It had some funny moments and I liked the side characters. The kids were very funny. However, this book was very insta-love. The male mc liked Diana right away without knowing anything about her. There was no build-up. The male mc was also a very surface level character. There was very little in getting to him as a person. Diana was hardworking and did her best in helping the kid. However, as a romance, it fell short. Overall, this book was okay.

I will preface that I did not like a previous Sarah Wilson novel, to the point that I DNFed it. I took a chance on this one and can honestly say it took me by surprise. It was a laugh out loud/ emotional read that I was glad I gave the time to read. I loved how the two main leads met and the hesitancy from the female main character to get into anything with the male main character was very believable. I started to get anxious toward the end but loved how everything was tied together. I would defiantly recommend this book for anyone that wants a half light half emotional but all the laughs and feels book.

I thought this was a good read. The majority of the characters are adorable, and I enjoyed the overall flow and development.

My issues here were probably with the heroine and the romance, which felt flat for the first 60-70% of the book.

I did like this romance. Cozy and with a happy ending. The dialogues were funny and the characters were likeable.

I'm so sorry but I just can't continue reading it. I am on 58% of the book but I still can't feel the spark between Griffin and Diana. Slow burn romance is really not my forte.

I've enjoyed other books by Sariah Wilson, so I was happy to receive a copy of Cinder-Nanny. And, I am always down for a retelling of a classic fairy tale with a modern-day Prince Charming.

Readers get to spend some time with Diana Parker as she works to help pay her sister's medical bills and maybe finds love in the process.

This is a first time read for me by this author, so I didn't really know what to expect. I found it to be a delightfully fun and sweet Cinderella retelling. Diana gets a hired as a nanny for a wealthy family in Aspen, but she wasn't entirely honest on her application. That's not to say she doesn't feel bad about her deceit, but she really needs the money. The price ce of this story is Griffin, who is an English earl. They clicked from the start, but Diana knew he was out of her league and she had to concentrate on her job and not bring attention to herself. But the more time they spend together the more their relationship deepens, and Diana knows that sooner or later she will need to come clean.
This was a refreshingly sweet and charming story with characters that will steal your heart. A light-hearted, feel-good story with entry of laughs and fun moments to keep you smiling. I really enjoyed the story and would love to read more by this author.

Ooh I love books like this and Cinder- Nanny is near the top of the list. This was a wonderful read that left me feeling all the warm fuzzies.

Diana needs money, quite a bit of it, to pay for her sister's medical bills, so she applies for the position of a nanny for a the Crawfords, wealthy couple in Aspen. It's only for 5 months but the amount they'll pay will be enough to pay for her sister's kidney transplant. The only problem is Diana doesn't have any of the qualifications listed for the position!!

I loved this Cinderella-type story. Even though Diana lies to get the position and had to keep lying to keep up the ruse she's a good person. I loved how close she was with her sister and how she was willing to do almost anything to help her out. Five year old Milo and his friend Sophie are so adorable and I loved Diana's interactions with them. I loved how Diana met Griffin, they had great chemistry, and I liked how down to earth he was despite him being an Earl.

This book hit all the right notes with me and is one of my favorites by Sariah Wilson. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher Montlake via NetGalley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

She goes to a lavish charity fundraiser, a new gown, and a Prince Charming (an earl named Griffin Windsor). Wary of gold diggers and scandal, England’s most eligible bachelor is still falling for Diana, and sweeping the not-quite princess off her feet.

This was pretty good. Some things were, of course, unbelievable but it's a romance based on a fairytale so it's fine. This was a cute and sweet read. I love the twists added for the retelling. Admittedly I don't love slow burn. This was very slow. If you don't mind that though you will love it. I recommend it!
