We have one smart dog who refuses to do anything he doesn't feel like doing, no matter what the reward. We also have a not-so-smart dog who struggles to understand anything beyond training us with "if I lay on my back, will you scratch my belly?" And we have a dog who will do anything to please you (except fetch). They walk together on one leash but none of them wants to fetch a ball.

So I was intrigued by the book - and the structures needed to make your dog pay attention first, and then learn commands after that. Well-illustrated and encouraging, this book shows you how to be in charge of a healthy relationships that nourishes your well-being and makes your dog content and ready to follow. I'm working on the basics.

Recommended, especially for new dog owners and those who have a dog but are clueless about setting boundaries or making your creature happier.

Love, love, love this book!

I've been following Sara and her dogs on social media for a while and am so happy this book is available.

This book contains all the dog tricks you want to learn with your dog, plus a lot more.

Instructions are simple and concise so the reader is not overwhelmed. The intro contains some valuable information on getting started.

I like how the tricks are graded on difficulty. Allowing the reader to work towards the more challenging behaviours. The trick stipulates if your dog needs to know a foundation behaviour such as sit before learning that behaviour.

Whether you are just getting started with trick training or you want to learn some more visually impressive tricks, this book is for you.

Amazing pictures too.

I loved the way this book was presented and as I was reading it I really wanted to try out a lot of the techniques on my own dog. Super Dog Tricks is very pet-owner friendly and I will definitely be picking up a physical copy to teach my greyhound some new tricks!

4/5 Stars

I just brought home a new puppy and this book has been an amazing tool in teaching her. We're still working on mastering simple commands like sit, but I know this book will be helpful into the future so I plan on buying a physical copy. I also really enjoyed the photos in this book and it helped my daughter who is just learning to read be able to follow the steps and be part of training.

Such a fun book! We have a lab that is very smart and there are so many tricks in here that we are going to try with her. I plan to buy a hard copy of this book when it comes out.

This came just at the right time as I have a stubborn little miniature schnauzer who is smart but a little head strung. I will employ alot of these tips!

Thank you to Net Galley and Quarto Publishing Group for an e-ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. We loved watching Sara on Amerca's Got Talent, and even more, loved the story of training her rescue dogs. We have a dog training business, and this was a bit of fun to add some fun tricks to our own dog's life. When this is published, I plan to get a hard copy for my granddaughter. Highly recommend.
