I love Norse mythology and I thought this was a brilliant way to introduce them to youths. It's full of fun and suspense and a unique concept.

We really liked this book, the children found it fascinating to learn about Norse gods in such a fun way. It prompted great conversations and further research into the subject. Would certainly read more by this author.

I was really impressed with this book! It had a great premise and overall just kept me completely hooked. I loved the idea that, when one of the Norse gods who represents a day of the week is taken by Loki, the days can't move on, and the world becomes stuck on an endless loop of the same saturday, which gradually gets worse and worse. The main characters, Buzz and Mari have to find the runes that contain the powers of the missing gods, find the other day gods and hope they are strong enough to fight Loki, who is determined to start ragnarok.
This book is exciting, fun, suspenseful and just a fantastic read! It also has some goods lessons about friendship.
highly recommended!

I loved the mythology that was woven through the book, some of which was familiar and someof which I hadnt heard of before. I also really liked the nature and magical elements. this is a great book to give children a taster of the fantasy genre. I really enjoyed it.
