Say Goodbye is the third and final instalment in The Sacramento series and this book sees more about ex basketball player Tom Hunter who now works for the FBI along with his lifelong friend Liza. Liza was an army medic so is no shrinking violet when it comes to dealing with difficult situations and this book certainly sees her in plenty of those! For those that have read the first two books they will know they are centered around a cult named Eden and its leader who is known only as Pastor.

In addition we meet pregnant teenager Hayley and her younger brother Graham who are being held within the Eden compound. We also see the return of Gideon, Mercy, Rafe and the rest of the Solokov clan. I absolutely loved reading more about Tom as he featured in Books 1 and 2 and to get the backstory with him and Liza was also compelling reading. I powered through this book and it kept me hooked all the way through. I was sad to get to the end as the trilogy has been absolutely amazing but this set of books is highly recommended!

Thank you to #NetGalley for the advance copy of #SayGoodbye by #KarenRose.
Can I just say first that I have read everyone of Karens books and loved them until this last series.
Something just hasn’t gelled for me. The writing style seems more diffident as if the author is worried about giving offence.
I will await the next series and purchase it as soon as it comes out as this author has been on my favourite list forever and I’m not ready to give up yet.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Say goodbye by Karen Rose.
The sacramento series book 3.
FBI Agent Tom Hunter has been chasing down leads to find the brutal cult that damaged some of his closest friends. They managed to escape to tell their stories, but Eden's location has always remained a mystery.
Liza Barkley is struggling with her feelings for Tom and wonders if their friendship can survive the secrets they've kept from one another. But they may be forced to confront the truth when a chance to help the investigation puts Liza directly in the line of fire.
When the perpetrator of an attempted sniper attack on Liza and her friends is discovered to be one of the cult's leaders, DJ Belmont, it becomes clear that he is out to get revenge on the victims who escaped Eden's clutches.
But there is one person who has always had control over DJ, and who no one outside of Eden has ever glimpsed: cult leader Pastor. When a serious injury forces Pastor to seek help outside the confines of the Eden, Tom and his team finally have a chance to bring the cult down.
But DJ Belmont has his own plan, and is not going to stop until he gets what he wants..
I really really enjoyed this book. Great story and characters. I liked the cover too. 4*.

The queen of romantic suspense has done it again!
Another brilliantly well plotted story line and a fantastic ending to the series.
If you haven’t read the two previous books in this series you can still read this as a stand-alone as there is just enough back story for you to follow who’s ego and what’s happening.
However, saying that I really recommend reading the first two first as they are both excellent books and they will enhance your enjoyment of this book.
This is either her 25th or 26th books and with each one they keep getting better!
I recommend reading her entire back catalogue, Karen Rose is a master story teller with a cast of characters that you can’t help but adore.
This book is so god I’ve technically read it 3 times!
Once when it first came out in hardback, on audiobook and now again with the paperback edition.
It is a fair size book so you’ve got a few good days of reading here but it will be time well spent as you won’t regret it.
Now to wait for a new book to come out.
Hopefully she won’t keep us waiting too long 🤞
A big book with a big heart and plenty of plot twists written by an incredible author.

The hunt is on... 🥸

Say Goodbye is told from a few different perspectives. Number three in the Sacramento series, whilst I haven't read the first, I have read the second in addition to this one. If you've read either of the earlier ones, you should enjoy this, if this is your first in the series, there's a lot going on, so you may not enjoy quite as much. A great read that'll keep you on your toes, the hunt to find Eden is on...

Say Goodbye by Karen Rose this the third and final book in the Sacramento series featuring FBI Special Agent Tom Hunter and his best friend, Army Medic Liza Barkley.
In short, Tom is still actively searching for the brutal cult, the cult that had provided a hiding place for vicious killers for the past thirty years and the cult that had damaged some of this closet friends. Liza also plays a huge part in this dangerous investigation which will trigger deep rooted memories for many!
Having read many Karen Rose’s book I was looking forward to reading ‘Say Goodbye’ and expecting another thrilling ride…and it was except the romance side of the story which I found very arduous! It was just far too repetitive and unnecessary, it was pretty obvious from early on in the story what the dynamics of the relationship were and didn’t needed to be reminded in what seemed to be every chapter! Fortunately though the rest of the story was enough to keep me interested in this gritty fast paced thriller…just not one of her best from Karen Rose.
Big thanks to Karen Rose, Headline and NetGalley for this eARC which I chose to read in return for my honest review.

Karen Rose is one of my favourite authors, so this would never get anything less than five stars or being mentioned as a recommended read.
Everyone should be familiar with her books and the host of characters within., although it can sometimes prove difficult keeping track of who is who.
A gripping story line, which, whilst reading does make you wonder makes you wonder what one of your two ending scenarios will bring the story to a close. When I say “two” that is simply how many I had in my mind as I turned the pages.
As I said, recommended.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of Say Goodbye by Karen Rose in return for my honest review.
Say Goodbye is the third and final book in The Sacramento Series featuring FBI Special Agent Tom Hunter and his best friend Army Medic Liza Barkley, I would recommend reading the other books in this series first.
The main character Tom Hunter first appears as a child in Karens first book Don’t Tell so it was great to catch up on his story with Liza, which is a slow burn romance/friends to lovers story amidst the crime and violence of the continuing story for the search of Eden.
I have read all of Karen Rose books and love them and this one doesn’t disappoint. I love the way Karens books are interlinked with many characters from other books making an appearance.
This is a really well written fast paced story full of crime and violence and of course romance with really great characters, I defiantly recommend reading.
I can’t wait to see where Karen Rose goes with her next book. (hopefully I wont have too long to wait).

Thank you to Netgalley, Headline and Karen Rose for my arc of Say Goodbye in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 3rd book in the Sacramento series and the 25th book in the romantic suspense series!

It picks up more or less where Say No More left off so beware of spoilers past this point.

The search for Eden is still ongoing but with the founding elders splintering and DJ still scheming the foundations are starting to crack. Now FBI agent Tom Hunter finally has a solid lead and together with Mercy and Gideon Reynolds he’s determined to shut the cult down forever. But when his long time friend and potential lover Liza gets involved and puts herself in harms way everything feels way more dangerous.

As always Rose writes an excellent thriller and an excellent romance all barrelled into one. It was an exciting trip to be back in the cat and mouse game with Eden and particularly DJ who is an excellent villain, one you can really get on board with hating and find yourself screaming at the book HOW IS HE STILL GETTING AWAY WITH THIS?!!

I’ve never read a Karen Rose book that I haven’t loved and I can’t wait to see where the romantic suspense books go next.

Would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this amazing book

It’s all you ever want in a book high action from the first page with added tension and a bit of murder all adds to the experience of reading a karen rose book

This one continues the Sacramento series hunting for Eden and all the followers with the evil dj still trying to kill mercy and Gideon

But this book is so much more and you are guaranteed to lose sleep and hours when you start this book

Cannot wait to see what’s next for karen rose but whatever it is it’s going to be a cliff hanger
