Thanks to Avon Books and Netgalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for a review.

This book can definitely be read as a standalone, but it was nice to hear of some of the other characters I've met in the books set in Falford. This is the story of Emma who has returned to the place she grew up but thought she had left behind, along with all the unpleasant memories but fate seems to have other ideas.

Wonderful summer read, made me wish I was in Cornwall!

Wow wow wow. Loved this from page one. One of those books you are thinking about when you are not reading it. Great to be back in Cornwall with Philippa Ashley. I loved the beach clean up. I know about sea glass from the north east. You wanted to own some of the jewellery . Emma was a great character and I loved the descriptions of her illustrations . The dolphin rescue was amazing.. Families can cause problems . So glad it had a happy ending. . Luke was a great character too and Ursula. A great great read

I absolutely love this authors books so couldn’t wait to get stuck into this one. This book could be read as a standalone but love how it also brings in some of the other characters from the Falford series. This was a cosy escapism read and explores what happens when you give someone a second chance and how to be brave and follow your dreams and yo ur heart to achieve what will make you happy.

I read this in almost one sitting as once had started to read I couldn’t put it down.

I loved the characters in this book and the community feel and how it showed that so much can be achieved when everyone pulls together and how it’s the little things which make a big difference.

I am already looking forward to this authors next book.

I could not put this book down. This book is true Phillipa Ashley, a beautiful Cornish setting with characters you fall in love with. From the moment Emma arrives in Falford I was transported there myself. It was so nice to read familiar names from previous books (this is most definitely a standalone book) and I could picture everything so clearly. I particularly liked the way Emma and Ursula’s friendship developed and who doesn’t need a best friend like Maxi. A fantastic feel good summer read.

I loved this easy summer read by Phillipa Ashley! The Cornish village setting and the beach are gorgeous and provide the perfect escapism from a dull March in London.

The characters are all extremely well developed and, though not all are likeable, all have their own flaws and reasonings as to why these have come about. I loved learning about the Beachcombing group and the types of 'treasure' they find on their weekly beach cleans.

My only one small criticism would be that it is slow moving in some places and could have been sped up.

I adore Phillipa Ashley's book and this book is another wonderful addition to the Cornish seaside storyline. It was really nice to be back again, and to catch up with the characters we have all come to know and love. Phillipa has written another lovely, feel good, uplifting, happy book, with a lovely romantic storyline.

Fans of Phillipa Ashley will not be disappointed with her latest book. The descriptions: of places, drawings, and events, are beautiful. No surprises with the story but the added thread of environmental problems faced by such coastal communities works well. This will be a great holiday read!

A cosy and sweet story about two people and how when they were 18 they broke up and now at 33 they have the chace to be together . I really liked that the author wrote about the environmental problems we have and more specific for waste disposal in the ocean .
I received this book from net galley and the publisher as an ARC. Thank you! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A lovely read. So many books are set in Cornwall, a place I’ve never visited, and the description in this book almost makes me feel I know the delightful location. The story is interesting and the tales of the characters are quite diverse. The main characters are warm and friendly as are their friends. Not so sure about their relatives. This book will definitely give a reader a feel good few hours.
