The next story in the Island of Mure series.
This follows the story as Joel and Flora plan their wedding as well as plan the wedding of Jan's sister .
The lives of the islanders is continued with the storyline of Saif and Lorna being one of the main ones.
Another brilliant book in the series.

This was a lovely romantic read with a bit of humour.
This book will definitely make a good summer read by the pool and cocktails.
The characters were great and you really connected with them and the roller coaster of emotions they go through.

Another wonderful story from Jenny Colgan. Thoroughly enjoyed previous books by her & it was lovely to get back to the island of Mure & some well known familiar characters

A beautifully worn book and a very welcome addition to the series. Jenny Colgan captures the essence of human nature and emotions, you really feel you are on a journey with the characters in the book. Some heartbreak, some laughter and some mystery. As always a perfect read!

My thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publishers for an ARC in return for an honest review

Reading the Mure series of books is like spending time with close friends in your favourite holiday destination.
Mure is a tiny Scottish island so far from the mainland that it is nearer to Scandinavia. Everyone knows everyone and, generally, they all get on.
Fiona lives with her American partner, Josh, and their baby son, Douglas. She manages The Rock hotel and the cafe in the town.
In this instalment Fiona and Josh are due to be married, but as usual the path of true love is not running smoothly.
Added to all of the complications of planning their own wedding are the return of a minor celebrity who also wants to get married in Mute where she was born and a pod of whales that seems determined to cause more problems for Fiona.
This is a lovely warm read, over far too quickly. I look forward to the next one.

A sweet and easy to read story. I handing read any other others in this series, and although it says you can read them as stand alone books I do feel like my enjoyment was lessened without knowing the history of these characters. Well written like all Jenny Colgans work,

I have loved all of Jenny's books in the past, and this one was brilliant like all her others. This is book 13 of the Mure series and you can read it as a standalone but I would recommend reading all of them from the beginning. I wanted to devour this book so fast but I made myself savour it, I loved the story and all of the characters, we meet new characters and some of my favourite characters from the previous books. All the characters are relatable too, and the story was a warm hearted and uplifting. You will fall in love with Mure and the people that live there, I wish I could escape there.

I have been a fan of Jenny Colgan's books for some time and this one did not disappoint. It was lovely being back on Mure again with some favourite characters.
As always, this is a feel good story.

Oh, how lovely to be back on Mure again. I do wish this were a real place, but then I suppose a little of the magic would disappear with each tourist.
Great, if somewhat slightly unbelievable, storyline. It was lovely to have a catch up with the residents of this wonderful island and to read how each was getting on in life.
I think perhaps, sadly, this is my least favourite of the series, maybe some of the magic has already disappeared? I found myself feeling so frustrated with the storyline between Lorna and Saif. An important storyline to feature but dragging it out over a number of books just made it feel frustrating and a bit boring as it continued not to reach a conclusion. I’m guessing there’ll be another instalment, with how things were left with Lorna, but as much as I love the Mure books I’m not sure I could be bothered to read another ‘will they won’t they’ with these characters.

I've loved all of the Island books, but this, might possible me, my favourite yet. It had it all, romance, humour, and some very weepy moments. I've got a feeling we're not done with the island yet - at least I hope not because there's one storyline that can't possibly end here!!
Another success for Jenny!

As a huge Jenny Colgan fan of a very long time I was so excited to be given this novel to read and it didn't disappoint! It was so lovely to catch up with Flora, Lorna and the gang, I'm very very much hoping for another instalment.
Like a lovely catch up with old friends!

I've had the pleasure of reading Jenny Colgan books for many years so was keen to read the latest in the Isle of Mure books. Although this follows on from the previous books there is enough of a catch up for it to be a standalone. Another enjoyable read.

I love Jenny Colgan's book a lot! So I was really happy to be able to read this one! First, let me tell you how much i love this pink cover! It's gorgeous!!! Then I loved the setting of the story, and I enjoyed the story in itself! This book is a page-turner! If you like Jenny Colgan's books you will really enjoy this one! I have given this book 4 stars!

Oh Jenny, you've broken my heart! I didn't think there was anywhere else to go with this series but this might just be the best book yet. I loved the nuance around the wedding, loved the way that 'happy ever after' wasn't guaranteed after the engagment was announced, loved Flora finally realizing she had to look after her own feelings too. And as for Lorna's story - I was not expecting that but it was beautifully written and executed.

Back to Mure for another story.

Flora has had a baby, Fintans husband died, Jans sister Olivia wants to get married at the Rock and Laura and Saif are conducting a secret romance.

I have really enjoyed all the books on Mure, It seems such a wonderful setting, a real community spirit bounces off the pages and fills me with warm fuzzies.

A very charming read, really enjoyed it.

This author hooks her readers and keeps them dangling till the very last page…..Really sweet, warm hearted story with some very funny moments . . . Thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a lovely way to start the new week! Begs to be read in one sitting… really tugs at your emotions…. Fully recommend!

I love Jenny’s Scottish book series and this was no exception.

Flora is preparing for her wedding on her home island of Mure, when a local girl turned model decides to marry on Mure too, hiring out the Rock Hotel that Flora manages. Flora has her heart set on an island wedding, incorporating its people and traditions, but her fiancé Joel just doesn’t seem keen….

A sub-plot concerning the love life of Flora’s best friend Lorna, and the bride’s sister Jan, adds to Flora’s worries. Just how can she keep everyone happy, have the wedding of her dreams and keep her businesses afloat? And will her baby ever learn to walk???

Another triumph by Jenny. Can’t wait for the next instalment - I want to know now what will happen next!

A Blessing of a four-star read. This is number five in the Mure series, but they don’t need to be read in order, as I haven’t read them all, just a couple and I didn’t feel I missed anything. I enjoyed this story, but it wasn’t my favourite by this author, I couldn’t pinpoint why either. I felt like I was transported to the island as I was reading, and that was such a nice feeling, I loved catching up with old characters feeling like I was catching up with old friends in some ways, but in others I felt lost. This will be a hit I’m sure, as it has all the makings of a great story, and an author that will always be one I pick up when I need some heart-warming.

I absolutely adore Jenny Colgan books. I have been a big fan for many years now.

This is a lovely addition to the mure series. Joel is away delivering vaccinations overseas. But is looking forward to returning home to get married.to Flora.

Flora is extremely busy running the cafe and the hotel and juggling family life as a new mum and trying to be there for her brother whose husband recently passed away. Flora just wants to make everyone happy.

Then a past resident of Mure comes back to the island and wants to get married. Everything has to be perfect, from the chef's, musicians the decorations ect, ect. To say Olivia is a little bit of a bridezilla is an understatement.

Then there is the lovely Lorna and Saif whose relationship is still undercover. But will the stress and strain if trying to hide their relationship from Saifs sons crack their relationship.

Can all of the characters have their own happily ever afters? Or is someone's relationship about to crack?

Another wonderful, feel good book, about love, life, relationships, expectations, and some times needing to put yourself and your own feelings and relationships first. Another wonderful edition to the mure series.
