If you've read any other Pippa Grant novel, this fits right in. Hilarious, but still steamy. I really enjoyed it.

Not your typical Pippa Grant book. Since I found Pippa's books back in 2020, I've been devouring them as fast as I could get my hands on them, so when I discovered this one over on Netgalley, I had to read it.
Phoebe Lightly is a socialite whose entire worth is wrapped up in who her family is and being the first Lightly to head Remington Lightly since her great-grandfather.
Teague Miller is a grumpy lumberjack fisherman who sells real estate in Tickled Pink while raising a daughter with his ex-wife and her current wife.
If you're thinking how Schitt's Creek-esque, well, you would be right. Just like Schitt's Creek, I had to plow through some chapters to really get into the story. But once Phoebe and Teague had wrapped their tendrils around my heart, there was no stopping me from finishing.
I laughed, I cried. Yes, I ran the full gamut of emotions with this one. While not as laugh out loud funny as her other books (yes, I've literally fallen off my bed from laughing so hard), this one takes us on a journey with Phoebe as she figures out who she is and where she really wants to be.
I loved the little Easter egg of the Kangapoo products, which is a nod to her other books where Luca from Real Fake Love models for the Kangapoo line.
And while it might not be a typical Pippa Grant book, there's no denying that she has a gift for telling stories that weave their way into your heart.

I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley and happily leave my honest opinion. Phoebe’s grandmother has a near death experience and drags her whole, rich, spoiled, devious family to Tickled Pink with her to ‘find themselves’. When the town grump, single dad Teague meets Phoebe he thinks she is exactly what she is, but hot with it. She doesn’t want to be there, he doesn’t want her family in town either so they form an unlikely alliance. Once she spends some time with the people of Tickled Pink Phoebe realizes there is more to life than what she was brought up to believe and she sets about trying to become a better person. Along the way she and Teague become more than allies, even if they both know it will only be for a short time as Phoebe will definitely leave, won’t she? There is plenty of family drama on Phoebe’s side and some unexpected drama on Teague’s side which throws a spanner in the works of their new relationship. I loved how much Phoebe grew throughout the story and that Teague wasn’t perfect. Tickled Pink and it’s inhabitants make for a great backdrop and they really add to the story

I really enjoyed this book! Both of the main characters are extremely likable and I was rooting for them the whole time! I loved reading this book!

Imagine that your whole very rich family gets moved away from big city to somewhere very opposite- to find your soul. To redeem yourself all because your grandma almost die and it reflects on her in her old age that maybe she should give more to people around. You don’t like it. You don’t wanna leave your easy life and jump into something unknown. But it’s not your choice; you either do it or loose everything. And then you meet lumberjack; who doesn’t like you at first; you try to survive after all so you make deal. And as time goes things shift.
What about if your life as you know it doesn’t make sense to you anymore? Your priorities shift. Your necessities are not essential to you anymore. Your happiness is no longer around things that made you happy before. Your heart actually gets exercise in very long while. You find your soul in someone else. And that I guess was unintentional goal after all of things that led you to this place in first place. Maybe you get to see heaven after all.
I was absolutely so into this. As all of Pippa’s work I feel this has that something extra. Teague was this complicated character who wasn’t as complicated as it seemed; he just wanted quiet life with his family and fishing boat. But look how that turned out. Phoebe was raised to be extra and so she acted like it until she didn’t. And I loved her transformation from uptight rich heir to open hearted woman.

As a fan of this author, I was thrilled to see this book available on NetGalley as an advance review copy and I grabbed it immediately.
I expected this one to be laugh out loud funny, as her others are. While this story was funny and very enjoyable, what I didn't expect was the level of connection I had with these characters!
This story has it all: Family drama, steamy scenes and quirky townspeople that kept the pages flipping, and I found myself at the end of this book too soon for my liking. This is easy to read and lose yourself in this world.
I loved this read, and recommend it. Don't expect to laugh hysterically, but do expect to leave this book feeling quite entertained and thoroughly satisfied.
I would love to read more about these characters! Hope to have that chance!!

*Said in my best Gossip Girl narration voice* Phoebe Lightly is one of "those" Lightly's, of the Upper East Side. Gigi (the family matriarch and her grandmother) runs the family with a fierce look and a firm hold on the purse strings. Gigi decides the entire family needs to move to Tickled Pink, WI in order to start atoning for their excessive lifestyle. (The reason why Gigi chose Tickled Pink is typical Pippa amazingness and I will not spoil it for you all).
Once the family arrives in Tickled Pink, we're introduced to the town and all the wonderful inhabitants including Teague, a grumpy single dad. After a colorful introduction to each other, Phoebe and Teague manage to go from enemies to lovers, finding a connection along the way.
I absolutely finished this book in the same day I received it. I love Pippa's books and while this started off a bit slow for me, I really got into the story the further in I got. Pippa excels at world building and the town of Tickled Pink is no exception. You're left wanting to visit the town and check out all the hot spots. I also 100% want to visit Teague's home and wish it was a real place.
I was left wanting more from this world and can't wait to see if Tavi and Carter get their own stories, because I would definitely read them too.

I absolutely adored this story! It was fun, it was fast paced and dealt with some real issues that some families deal with.
It had just enough Pippaquirk to make it highly entertaining but not overly done. I cannot wait for this to come to audio. Pippas books are some of my favorite audiobooks.

I love Pippa Grant's mind! I can't help it (not that I've tried) she is hysterical! This story is no exception. The characters are wonderful, the story flows and the ending great. Some great LOL moments and very sexy times. I love the town of Tickled Pink and I am looking forward to more books in this town. The truth is that if it's Pippa Grant for me it's a guaranteed good time..I've never been disappointed yet.

“Phoebe Lightly, aka a woman who should probably hang up that phone” With these words I found myself diving into another story from the Pippaverse.
Phoebe is a a New York socialite who, along with her brother, sister and parents, are bullied by her grandmother into relocating to tiny Tickled Pink WI to pretty much make atonement for all of their excesses so that “Gigi” can buy her way into heaven. Insert eye rolls here. (I mean come on, the entire family did so it’s not rude to do so). Estelle, aka “Gigi” has purchased the old condemned (?) high school and plans for herself and the family to live in it while making it habitable. First thing though, they have to evict the bats and raccoons that are living there.
Pippa has woven a wonderful story that draws you in and holds you captive. You can visualize Tickled Pink and all of the Lightlys, along with locals Teague (the grumpy lumberjack fisherman single dad), his teen daughter Bridget, ex wife Shiloh and her wife Ridhi. As expected, there is substantial heat between Phoebe and Teague.
I found myself laughing and crying throughout the read, finishing within one day and feeling sad to end my time in Tickled Pink. The story held my interest with the hijinx, chuckles, angst and drama from different storylines. Another winner Pippa, can’t wait for the next in this (hopefully) new series!

I found this book tough to get into at first. The beginning seemed very dragged out, could have skipped a few chapters. . However I will say in the end I thought it was a cute read and had some good spicy scenes! I would recommend this book to someone looking for an easy, fun read!

When my grandmother has a near-death experience and realizes we Lightlys can’t buy our way into heaven, she relocates the family to Tickled Pink to work on improving our souls. And that’s how I trade my heiress existence for gigantic bugs, dishwater coffee, and a cranky single dad named Teague Miller.
Teague spends his days fishing, raising his spunky teenager, and after an unfortunate incident involving cheese curds, living rent-free in my head. The one thing he and I can agree on is that I don’t belong here. He’s willing to help me escape—until the unexpected happens.
I kind of like him. I might even more than like him.
But am I ready to give up the life I adored for a man I love to hate?
Both main characters are very likable. I love their banter and every scene that they are in together! :) Very witty and sassy dialogues. Lots of LOL moments. Love the ending especially. A terrific rom-com that kept me laughing..
Thanks to the publisher for the ARC.

I devoured this book, it was a very well paced, enjoyable and entertaining story. The MCs were absolutely adorable, especially the heroine; I really liked her wit. And ofc, the romance was absolutely top notch, making it a perfect read for me.
