Who doesn't love a book about a town called Tickled Pink??

This book absolutely reeled me in from the very beginning. It was the perfect mix of everything but mostly romance and humor. The matchup of a snooty heiress and gruff fisherman had my interest piqued. Then the evolution that said heiress, Phoebe goes through was pretty incredible. And the gruff fisherman....well did I say he's a hot gruff fisherman? Add in all of Phoebe's family (including her grandmother, the wealthy matriarch of the Lightly family). the other townspeople, a spunky teenager and the personality of the town, Tickled Pink itself and you're in for one heck of a story.

I was primarily there for the interactions between Phoebe and Teague (the gruff fisherman). But everything else was fun too. Also, I look forward to seeing what else Ms. Grant does with this series since this was only book one.

OMG!!! This book was hilarious!
If the Upper East Side had an evil twin, it would be Tickled Pink, Wisconsin. But when Phoebe Lightlys´ grandmother has a near-death experience and realizes they can’t buy their way into heaven, she relocates the family to Tickled Pink to work on improving their souls.
Teague spends his days fishing and raising his spunky teenager. The one thing he and Phoebe can agree on is that she doesn’t belong there. He’s willing to help her escape—until the unexpected happens. She kind of likes him. But is she ready to give up the life she used to adore for a man she loves to hate?
I like almost everything about this book. Amazing characters, lots of fun and great steamy moments. The Lightlys are something else. Self-centered, spoiled rich people incapable of sincere feelings. I loved Phoebe’s journey even though I hated Gigi. The only thing for me that didn’t work is that is drags a bit too much. With 100 pages less it would have been perfect.
This book is well written, engaging and super fun. The inside dialogs are amazing. Phoebe and Teague are a couple I’m not going to forget any time soon.

This is my first book by Pippa Grant and it won't be my last! The descriptions of Tickled Pink, Wisconsin had me wanting to book a trip for the fishing and the community! When Phoebe's grandmother has a near death experience, she decides the whole family needs to learn to do better in life and sets them up for a year in this small town community. Phoebe is a force to be reckoned with and she had me feeling the gamut of emotions with her throughout the story. Teague also won me over quickly and I couldn't wait to see how their interactions would play out. The banter between the two of them was so entertaining and part of what I look for in romance! Three stars for the story. Plus one more for the brilliant representation with both Bridget and Shiloh.

Phoebe and her family are part of the upper echelon in society as she has been working her way up in the family business where she is determined to ultimately become the CEO. Her life takes a turn she doesn’t see coming when her grandmother has a lifechanging moment and she now finds herself living in a small midwestern town looking for a way out without compromising her dreams.

Teague is a divorced single father who appreciates the laidback lifestyle of his hometown and is less than impressed that they have been infiltrated by Phoebe and her family. After their first meeting he is in complete agreement that Phoebe needs to leave but when they decide to work together to accomplish that they will both learn a lot about themselves and each other.

Not only are Phoebe and Teague captivating characters but there is an eccentric cast of secondary characters who enhance the story. Witty banter, humorous situations and two people who find out what and who will make them happy under the most unlikely of circumstances.

I absolutely adored everything about this hilarious, heartfelt, and swoony romance! Phoebe is a wealthy New York socialite who works hard to take over her family empire one day. When her grandmother has a near death experience, she decides her family is in need of an intervention. So she forces them to live in the quirky, small town of Tickled Pink, Wisconsin, so they will learn to become better people. She has many rules, and hilarious activities they must do to help them along the way. The residents are not happy to have them and come up with ways to scare them into leaving. Teague loves his quiet life and is especially anxious to drive them away. He knows people like Phoebe and her family and wants to protect his daughter from their selfish greed. But the more he pushes Phoebe, the more she rises to the challenge and he starts to respect her. The more Phoebe learns about this small town and the frustrating, grumpy lumberjack, the more she questions who she really is. As they spend time together, they start to give in to their attraction. Phoebe starts to care for Teague, his daughter and the small town life with all the quirky residents. But when Teague's secrets come to light, will they be able to get past the truth or will they both feel betrayed and heartbroken? I love Teague and Phoebe together! Phoebe is determined, quirky and fun. She just wants to be a better person and to be loved despite her flaws or her past. Teague was grumpy on the outside but sweet, caring, and knew when to distract her, make her laugh, and when to make her swoon. Their story is hilarious, sweet and at times heartbreaking. This witty, and warm romcom has the right blend of wisdom, belly laughs, hard-earned character growth, and heat. I laughed out loud so many times, and fell in love with the quirky, small-town homey feel, along with all the supportive and quirky family and friends who made this story even more entertaining and authentic.
Savannah Peachwood, and Sebastian York did a great job narrating this moving story and bringing it to life. I loved their humor, and their easy ability to make this hilarious, awkward and emotional story even better!

I love Pippa's books & this one is no exception. This was such a fun book to read, full of the humor I would expect from a Pippa Grant book. Phoebe is forced to leave her socialite type life behind after her grandmother has a near death experience and moves the family to a more rural area. Phoebe isn't happy about it and meets Teague who is a single dad raising his full of attitude teenager. He agrees to help Phoebe out but as they work together they grow closer. This was such a fun read, secrets that are brought to light and more. I love the town & the people of Tickled Pink.

The One Who Loves You is the first book in the Tickled Pink series by Pippa Grant. While this book may be a little different than some other works by Pippa it completely lives up to “Pippa style” of books to the highest degree! Pippa as usual tells this hilariously romantic story but just be prepared to expect the unexpected which is why she is my go-to author to give me all the fun reading can give a person. To lose yourself in a great story, The One Who Loves You, will bring you Phoebe and Teague with laughs, smiles and love.

3.5 Stars. This is actually my first read of Pippa Grant, and I have to say I'm quite intrigued. I have to check out her backlist.

It might be because I was tired from traveling so I wasn't really in the mood to read the book. The beginning was quite slow for me, but as I kept on reading, I really did enjoy it. It got me laughing, swooning, and the character's development was a plus.

Here's just a tip of what the story is about. Phoebe, rich girl, going to a small town, and met the grumpy single father, Teague. I don't want to give out too much without spoiling the book.

Loved the cover. It was the reason I requested for the book. Anyways, I'm totally looking forward to the next books in the series.

The Lightly family might be known around the Upper East Side socialite circle but not for their kindness. After a scare the matriarch Gigi decides the whole family needs to change.

In comes the small town of Tickled Pink Wisconsin. Where Gigi decides the family is moving to in order to become better people.

Phoebe Lightly becomes the family spokesman to the man who sold them a rundown high school to live in.

Teague is the grumpy single dad who lives in a tree house and finds the whole family ridiculous and wants them gone even if he finds Phoebe adorable.

While Phoebe seems to be irredeemable as far as how shallow she is her journey is pretty remarkable.

“I’m a very good person. I donate to charity. I give my assistant a Tiffany’s gift card every year on what I think is her birthday. I make my own mortgage payments, and I compliment even the ugliest babies on the street.”

The quirky characters of the town bring such depth to the story. Teague’s daughter is hilarious and is wise beyond her years even when pushing boundaries. With lots of laughs, and fun moments this is a joy to read.

I've been a Pippa Grant fan for a long time. She did not disappoint with those book. Pippa addresses many current themes with taking you on a fun and sexy ride. As you enter the tickled pink would you fall in line with the town and it's people. Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC

Once I got into the story, I couldn't help but get very invested in it. I couldn't put the book down. Especially with all the antics of the characters you have to keep up with. There's never a boring time in Tickled Pink and all of the townspeople. It's a guarantee, you might want to pick this one up just for the characters. This is what a small-town romance is all about. They're so entertaining. Then there's Teague and Phoebe. They couldn't be any more different. But they fit. I loved how they work on their relationship but also on themselves, especially Phoebe. So much character growth in her. I can't wait for more of this town shenanigans.

Phoebe can't believe the matriarch of the Lightly Clan has made them leave New York. Sure, she kind of froze when Gigi nearly choked but is that really a good enough reason to uproot the entire family (apart from THAT line) and take them to the middle of nowhere, Wisconsin - all to reenact some schmaltzy movie about the redemption of your soul?????

Teague loves Tickled Pink just as it is. Small town, tight-knit community, inclusive, and the perfect place to bring up his daughter. But the ton needs money and the Lightly's have a lot of it. So he may have sold the matriarch an absolute pig-in-a-poke of a building for them to renovate and live in. But when the uptight, pampered Princess Phoebe makes a deal with him to get Gigi to hightail it back to Manhattan he had no idea what he was really getting into.

Tickled Pink is the kind of town I'd move to in a heartbeat! Filled with quirky characters, inclusivity, and an inordinate amount of handsome men LOL. The cast of supporting characters is diverse and they all have their own personalities - no-one is used as filler. My favourites were of course Bridget, Wayne, Jane and Floyd.

The Lightly's put the fun in dysfunctional and I was impressed that any of the younger generations were remotely sane after living in that kind of bubble. I really wanted to nail Fletcher to a wall btw! Sure Phoebe is no angel but she at least grew a stable, emotional connection to people and even TP, he just remained an absolute butt!

I defy you not to have your heartstrings tugged throughout this book. Yes, the comedy is ace but it really does have a core of emotion and message of love & acceptance.

I cannot wait to see what havoc Tavi, Carter and the others wreak on the town next!

What a perfect start to a new series. I love small town romances and The One Who Loves You hit all the marks. I laughed out loud while reading it and could not put it down.

I enjoyed Teague and Phoebe as characters and their banter was perfect. I am looking forward to the rest of the series. I would recommend this book to anyone who love a good romcom that will make you laugh out loud.

Unfortunately this one was not for me. I didn't warm to or like any of the characters or the story. It just wasn't my cup of tea

This book is magical. It is the perfect combination of a fictional crazy set up and characters and situations that feel real and authentic. I feel like I could walk into this home town of tickled pink and be part of this world. To me this is the true epitome of a brilliant book. You the reader want to live their with the characters.

The story and the hero/heroine it self are cacklingly funny and swoony at the same time. Have I said it’s romantic and sexy yet? Well it is. I for one can’t wait to get back to this fictional town. Teague and Phoebe are magical.

This town, is part schitt’s creek, part Gilmore girls. You will not regret reading it!

The One Who Love You by Pippa Grant begins with granddaughter, Phoebe Lightly, late for a dinner with her grandmother which sounds like a fate worse than death and almost is because grandmother Gigi chokes on a bite of steak and almost dies, but is saved. No thanks to her hapless granddaughter, however. As a result of nearly passing, Gigi demands that her son, daughter-in-law, and their children live with her in Tickled Pink, Wisconsin in order to learn how to be better people before it’s too late.

Once in Tickled Pink, Phoebe decides to take on the man who sold the dilapidated school, where the family is supposed to live, to her grandmother, certain that he’ll be compassionate and see that her grandmother may not be of sound mind. Teague Miller is not. He’s a grumpy single dad who lives in a treehouse and seems able to give as good as he gets and doesn’t put up with any of the Lightly’s shenanigans.

After closing my mind to the fact that Schitt’s Creek seemed to be the inspiration for The One Who Love You, I was able to enjoy it far more. Also, in a world where pronouns have never been discussed more widely, Pippa Grant chose to ignore them in chapters narrated by Teague, which I found annoying on a moderate scale. While people slur pronouns with verbs, they rarely drop them altogether, doncha know.

Anyway The One Who Love You grew on me very quickly. I loved Phoebe realizing how different she can be in a different world from her Manhattan skyscrapers and superficial relationships, and I loved all of the little secrets that popped out along the way, making me look forward to any future installments in this series.

I found Teague and his treehouse intriguing. I couldn’t help wondering how the treehouse would stand up to winds, Wisconsin snowy winters, etc. Exactly what did this three story (I believe it was just three stories) treehouse look like? How did he get electricity into it? I guess I’ll Google to see if it’s been done before because I need to know! And, Teague seems perfect–until he’s not.

Add in a madcap family, quirky townsfolks, and beloved four leggeds, and you have a fun, very readable story. A beach read! Escapism! Something to make you smile!

Instead of laughing like I usually do while reading a Pippa Grant rom com, I found this to be kinda tedious. It never felt "romantic" to me in any way, and the relationship felt incredibly surface level - especially for a book that's NOT short. This series starter is Grant's first traditionally published work, and the tone is definitely very different than her usual. It's a little bit Schitt's Creek, a little bit It Happened One Summer, and a whole lot long-winded. It felt endless to me, and I found myself tuning out a lot. There are too many characters, and I didn't particularly like any of them. Which... isn't quite how I thought this would go. Her books usually pull me in within a few pages, and this took about 150 before I even started to settle in. I do think there's potential in the series, but this was a miss for me.

The story follows Phoebe, a city girl who finds herself temporarily living in a small town with her family. The reasons are complicated, so I'll skip the details. But Phoebe's appearance in town has Teague off-balance. He's a divorced dad who loves his laidback, small town lifestyle, and the last thing he wants is a spoiled socialite to mess up a good thing. As the two spend more time together, these two opposites can't help but attract.

I do think there's a lot of unfulfilled potential in the story - I enjoy a fish out of water romance, an opposites attract dynamic, and a sexy single dad - but something about this just didn't work. There's a LOT of time spent on things other than the relationship, so that felt like it was short-changed. And the focus on the large cast of characters overwhelmed and bored me, so I zoned out while reading countless times. There was nothing that held my attention - no chemistry, no swoons, no lovable hero or heroine, nothing to liven things up. There's some great potential in this eclectic group of characters, but I just didn't feel the love.

I'm sorry to say but this book was not for me.
I usually enjoy Pippa's books, and laugh out loud, but this made me barely smile.
I could not connect to the characters, and felt myself skipping over a few text passages.
