We meet Ruby who is a single mum who wants to loose her excess baby weight before her sister's wedding and Harry who is a business man whose wife thinks he needs to lose weight so signs him up to the new fitness and weight loss program at the hotel
As they become friends Harry discovers that is wife is cheating on him and she starts playing dirty over the divorce. Ruby offers a shoulder to cry on and helps him discover information that might help him prove the affair
I won't say more as it would spoil the ending
Loved it, I didn't know there was a book before it, but it read as a stand alone book for me although I will definitely go and find the first one now it was so good

Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for a review.

This follows on from Sunshine Over Bluebell Cliff but could easily be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed this, a lovely easy read. Would love to read more!

I received an ARC of, Confetti Over Bluebell Cliff, by Della Galton. This was a interesting book. I like Ruby and Harry. I did not like the emphasis on weight, thought Im glad they reached their weight loss goals.

A great feel good book, focusing on body images and friendship. The book flows really well with well written characters. It is the second book in this series but could be easily read as a stand alone. Thank you netgalley for the advance copy

The story
Ruby, 35, is a single mom to her son Simon. She is a hugely successful art dealer and artist, brokering deals on art masterpieces. Sadly Simon’s father kept the fact that he was already married when from her when they were dating. Ruby’s sister Olivia is marrying in four months time and Ruby decides she wants to lose the baby weight that has been hanging around since she had Simon. She joins an upmarket diet group with Saskia, a YouTube exercise guru and the Bluebell hotel’s fancy chef. The others in the group provide friendship and also great diet support. Will Ruby find a happy place before the wedding takes place?

My thoughts
The first book in this series covers older sister Olivia’s journey and her love story with Phil. I enjoyed this story as much (if not more). I loved the perspective from both Ruby and Harry who she meets in the diet group. He is just such a sweetie and I so enjoyed their friendship and growing feeling for each other. This is a sweet read that didn’t focus on the romance but also the rather harder parts of self image, diet struggle and relationships that support rather than break down. A lovely read! ❤️

She is not happy with her weight because after giving birth to her now six month son she has not lost the extra weight but she will do anything to lose it so she will look and feel beautiful as her sister bridesmaid . When she finds a new program she sings in and her life change for ever . At first there is a misunderstanding but everything goes smoothly at the end . While she is getting thinner she became friends with the other members and more with the only man of their group . He is there because his wife forced him . As he has trouble with his mariage he comes close with Ruby .
I received this book from net galley and the publisher as an ARC. Thank you! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Another gorgeous book from Della Galton. This story follows on from Sunrise over Pebble Beach although it can still be read as a standalone novel.
The Lambert sisters are back but the focus is on Ruby as she prepares for Olivia's wedding by joining a weight loss club. As she loses the weight she gains a new love interest in Harry. This is the perfect pick me up when you need a heart warming, feel good read!
