Another welcome return to Cornwall and the people of Ferry Lane market. Old and new characters mingle happily with weddings births and the odd sad story.
I did struggle to warm towards the main character Giianna Pascoe, but she won me over in the end.
If you enjoy reading about the inhabitants of a community, their day to day existence and traumas and laughter, then you are in for a real treat!

Thank you NetGalley, Nicola May and Hodder & Stoughton for the ARC of Rainbows End in Ferry Lane Market. This is my personal review.
This is the third book in the Ferry Lane Market Series. I read the first book and loved it and was glad to get back to Ferry Lane Market. The author has done a beautiful job of giving me characters I care about in this series.
Glanna is the focus of the book. She runs an art gallery and is known by all as the rainbow painter. She was on a path on her life that she knew she had to change. She was in love with Oliver but ended it and looks back on her decision knowing now she made a mistake. You can read this as a standalone, but you will want to get the first two in the series.

Set in the familiar Ferry Lane Market in gorgeous Cornwall, this book is about Glanna who runs the art gallery there.
Talented, beautiful but fragile Glanna finds that she needs to tell the truth so that she can find her own happiness.

This author never fails to entertain me with her wonderful characters that pull at your heartstrings.
This is the third book in the series & I devoured it in twenty four hours as I couldn't put it down.
A great bit of escapism you can lose yourself in & thoroughly enjoy as her writing just draws you in.
Set in the lovely village of Hartmouth Cornwall the Ferry lane market characters come to life.
Fast paced funny & heart warming read with just the right amount of wickedness thrown in.
This story centres more on Glanna Pascoe who runs the Hartmouth Gallery & is, known as the rainbow painter.
She is trying to get her heart & head sorted following her alcoholic & drug fuelled past that was spiralling out of control.
She is also regretting ending things with Oliver the one good person in her life.
Brilliantly written & another good read from this talented author I absolutely loved it.

In this third book of the series the main character is Glanna, the owner of the local art gallery. She has had a troubled alcoholic and drug fueled past, but is now living a clean life in Hart mouth. She regrets her past and her lost love, Oliver, but is intrigued by a famous local artist Isaac. So starts the possibility of a love triangle?
I have loved this series and this third book is deeper, although still full of that Cornish background and characters from the earlier books. Glanna is a complex character, very flawed but aware of it. Seeing her progress as the story develops is very moving and I became totally immersed in it, which is my definition of a 5* book. This can be read as a standalone book, but I would suggest that you start with the first book and binge read them all and lose yourself in the Ferry Lane Market.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

It was lovely to return to the delightful Ferry Lane Market in this story, to catch up with old friends and get to know other characters better. I really loved Glanna's story, and I think this is my favourite of the Ferry Lane stories.

I do at times find the author's writing style a bit difficult, her character descriptions sometimes jar me out of the story a little bit which makes it harder to sink fully into the escapist magic of the places she creates. But the charming nature of the story in the end means I still had a lovely time reading it.

I absolutely loved this book. All of Nicola Mays books are great and this book is simply no exception, light, easy to read, fun, at times funny, heartwarming, easy to read and one to make you smile. Great book.

This was my first book by this author and it certainly won’t be my last. This was the third book in the series but reading it as a
Standalone worked as well and didn’t detract from my enjoyment. I am
Going to go back and read the others in the series. This was the perfect escapism read and read it practically in one sitting. I absolutely loved the characters as they had a certain realism and feisty determined quality about them despite their being issues happening on the inside for them which only sought to make them to be the best they could be. The book
Covers a lot of issues that am sure a lot of people
Can relate to in a sensitive way and was so much more than just a romance story.

This was a beautiful read which I highly recommend.

A good read. It is a a book you can read with having read the others . I loved the main character Glanna . Her parents were eccentric and fun. The demons of Gianna made you think. , I loved the rainbows in her paintings and it explained the tittle.. I loved the not wanting children element. Banksy was a fab dog. Issac was a complicated character but his story was happy and sad. Well worth reading.

Thank you Hodder & Stoughton and NetGalley for the ARC, this review is my personal, unbiased opinion.

Rainbows End is the third in the series about life in Ferry Lane Market set in the Cornish seaside town of Hartmouth but can be read as a stand alone. While books one and two are fairly lighthearted, this is more serious containing a heroine who has experienced a troubled life.

Now nearing 40 years old, Glanna Pascoe has followed a hedonistic lifestyle since her early 20s. Realising her way of life hasn't brought her happiness, she agrees to go into rehab to help cure her alcoholism and drug addiction.

After her time in rehab, Glanna leaves London and returns to her home town of Hartmouth. With financial support from her wealthy mother, she runs Hartmouth Art Gallery, specialising in exhibiting the work of local artists. Known as The Rainbow Painter, Glanna is an accomplished artist and, motivated by the need to boost the gallery's irregular income, decides to hold life drawing classes, much to the alarm of locals.

Although characters from previous books make a welcome reappearance throughout, this is about Glanna seeking to regain control of her life and achieving happiness.

A real treat that I read in two days.

This is book three set in Ferry Lane Market, and it's wonderful to return there. There are characters that we briefly catch up with again from the previous books, but this can be read as a stand alone. This story is about Glanna, an independent women approaching 40 who although has always had a very privileged life & wanted for nothing, this also aided her addictions in her earlier life. Glanna is trying to turn her life around after leaving the man she thought of as the love of her life because he wanted kids one day & she definitely didn't. She runs an art gallery in Ferry Lane & is known as the rainbow painter, she decides to run a life drawing class with both male & female locals. Its funny, a little bawdy in parts but I heartily recommend reading this book.

Rainbows End in Ferry Lane Market is the third book in a brilliant series. I have been a fan of the author for a while now and I am never disappointed. Yet another great romance that you will devour in no time at all. I sat and read the book in a few glorious hours.
I particularly enjoy the descriptive settings and locations of these books, and feel like I am miles away in Cornwall (I wish!)
With each book the focus is on someone else within the community, and this time it’s on Glanna. She has a troubled past and is keen to move forwards in a positive way. She has regrets but doesn’t believe she can make things right so has turned away from London for her home back in Cornwall. She is a good character and very likeable; honest and up front, I felt for her and wanted everything to work out well for her. She has a faithful companion in Banksy, which is a lovely addition. Isaac is a famous artist and Glanna is intrigued by him and the secrets he seems to be keeping.
I love the cast of characters – overbearing mothers, kind, put upon Dads, cameos from the other books which give an insight into how their stories have progressed too (which I love!)

We have life drawing, affairs, theft and babies plus so much more.
A real treat for readers to relax and enjoy.

Whilst I was surprised that the Moon family didn't really feature in this instalment of the ferry lane market series. It was enjoyable as a stand alone book too, interesting characters and well written. Thank you netgalley for the advance copy

This is the third book in the Ferry Lane Market series where we catch up with old characters and are introduced to new ones.

Determined to put her old life of drink and drugs behind her, Glanna Pascoe has returned home to run the art gallery at Ferry Lane Market. Nursing a broken heart and stuck in the middle of warring parents, can Glanna stay on the straight and narrow and look forward to a brighter future?

An easy and enjoyable read. A great addition to this series.

Aah so happy to have returned to Ferry Lane Market. I just love this setting with its small shops and rich characters. I read this in a day.

Some of the characters from previous books do of course appear, but this story is all about Glanna. Born in the area but left for the excitement of London, only to end up in rehab. Whilst there she meets the love of her life, Oliver, but they want different things out of life so she walks out of the relationship. Now on the brink of her 40th birthday, Glanna has returned to her roots and now runs an art gallery selling, amongst local artists work, her own rainbow themed art. She is known as the Rainbow Artist as a rainbow features in every one of her pieces. Although she is loving the gallery, her thoughts keep returning to her lost love and the life she feels she has wasted. It doesn’t help that her mother is disappointed she isn’t in a relationship yet.

Then on a rainy day, on a dangerous cliff, she is rescued by reclusive local artist Isaac Benson and taken into his secret cliff edge painting studio near his house on the cliffs. This is a man Glanna has idolised for many years and she can’t believe her luck to finally meet him. Dare she ask him if he will let her exhibit one of his paintings in her studio?

Will there be romance or will Oliver always be her one true love?

We follow Glanna through some funny and some heartbreaking situations (get the tissues ready).

I just loved her mum and dad - mother is rich and brusque and father is caring and is her estate worker but they never married, although they are secretly besotted with each other. When her dad starts a relationship with a sex mad middle aged woman from the coffee shop her mum realises she really loved him but worries she has lost him.

A fabulous feel good read and I highly recommend the whole series.

Many thanks to Hodder and Stoughton for an advance copy of the book via NetGalley.

I'll just start by putting this out there. I am gutted this is the last in the series!
I thoroughly enjoyed the first twp books in the Ferry Lane series and eagerly awaited this third book, where we were able to catch up with old friends, as well as make some wonderful new ones.
This book centres around Glanna, Isaac and Oliver.
Glanna is a local girl by birth, but she disappeared to London as soon as she was able, wanting to spread her wings. She spreads them a bit too far, and ends up in a downward spiral of drink and high living, which ends up with her in rehab. On the cups of turning forty, with a wonderful relationship over, she heads back home, to her parents, and back to one of her first loves. Art.
Isaac is a local artist. A very famous reclusive artist. And somehow, Glanna ends p making his acquaintance, during a particularly awful storm. Could he be the one to nurse her heart back to happiness? With so many deep, dark secrets in his background, will he be up for romance?
Or is it Oliver, Glanna's one perfect relationship, that soured, as she realised they both wanted different things. Him: marriage and a family. Her: love and a happy life, just the two of them.
The wonderful cast of colourful characters that accompany Glanna on her own journey of self-discovery, are a delight in themselves, with her father, and his rather brash new girlfriend, and her posh mother, who is always chasing the younger man. Not forgetting Banksy, Glanna's gorgeous whippet! And we get to hear all about how marriage and motherhood are treating all the favourites from the past two books.
This was a wonderful read that I devoured in a day!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Hodder & Stoughton for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A Five-star read that shines like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Glanna was a pleasure to read about, reading this story and the descriptions unfolded in your mind like a beautiful painting. Glanna was a real person, she has her faults, but she is dealing with them, she is being the grownup she knows how to be and putting right what she knows she has done wrong. It was so hard watching her scrabble for affection and love, but she had her rainbows and that was what mattered in the end. Watching her try and find the love she so desperately needed, and slowly realising that love is all around her, just not as she may recognise it was simply as beautiful as the rainbows she adores. The complexity of Isaac was nicely done, he was such a private person, and his story line was a great one that I loved seeing through. It was great watching the previous story’s residents pop up and tell us more of their journey. Ferry Lane Market is a place I have often wished real, and this story just added to my wishes.
