Maybe I've read too much lately, but it's driving me crazy how authors throw in little random 'facts' and get them completely wrong! The love interest's eyes were compared to clovers, ferns, and.... "The tips of green onions, which are for some reason called chives"-- Umm, no they aren't. Green onions and chives are two completely different plants. Chives are an herb and green onions are a vegetable. I thought books were edited and proofread by multiple people before getting out to beta readers?

I know I'm being nitpicky, but this happened multiple times throughout the book and it not only threw me out of the story, but it made the heroine out to be even more of a prideful, arrogant, self-righteous brat. It was extremely difficult to root for her when all I wanted to do was protect every other character from her toxic personality.

I absolutely love Romantic Comedy books, and this is another favorite. I just loved this cute story between Avery and Tyler. The flow of book was a tiny bit fast in a one or two parts but other than that the way this book was perfect. The enemies to friends is one of my favorite plots beside best friends to lovers. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves Romcom books! Thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC!!

This enemies to lovers romantic comedy had really fabulous back and forth flirting.

Sometimes there was a little too much embarrassment, without enough time in between for the pacing and believability, but Summer definitely kept me laughing. The roller coaster love/hate was completely believable and done incredibly well. I loved the tug of war of attraction and irritation.

She wrote scenes with fabulous metaphors and double meanings that make your heart thump without any awkward innuendos. I love how well she writes a clean sizzle.

This is definitely a fun romance that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Avery is the wedding planner who spends her days and nights making sure her clients wedding goes off without a hitch. Meet Tyler, the hitch. Annoyingly handsome, Avery can’t help but fall for him while working together. Worried she will fall in her workaholic parents relationship footsteps, Avery keeps Tyler at a distance until a thanksgiving dinner with her parents bring revelations, and possibilities to light. Clean, sharp writing, entertaining!

This book really hit the spot for me. We first meet Avery a type A successful wedding planner, think J-Lo in 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳. She has poured her whole self into her business, everything is planned and perfect down to the smallest detail. Sure romance is great and one day she’ll get around to meeting Mr. Right but for right now she is quite with her work and the success she is having. However, as it turns out her friends have other plans as they’ve declared Avery will be their Christmas charity project and before she knows it Avery has agreed to let her friends set her up on 3 blind dates in an effort to find her one true love.

What she wasn’t expecting is Tyler Becket. Tyler is a hardworking, kind-hearted and creative photographer with a thing for flannel whom her latest bride has chosen to capture her special day but not only that, every moment leading up to said special day. Their first encounter doesn’t exactly put them off to a great start and as they work together Tyler bugs Avery in all the right ways. Their banter is snappy, witty and just the right amount of flirty, I loved that he fell first and her internal battle to resist his charms.

There were so may great moments in this book, I had a hard time putting it down. My favourite twist is Elvis, the abandoned puppy they come across and who plays such a pivotal role in their relationship. I mean who can resist a fluffy bundle of joy. This is a lovely enemies-to-lovers romance, I loved both of these characters so much. While it is technically the 3rd in the series you can absolutely read it as a stand alone but I look forward to reading the first two books about Averys friends Haley and Hope … and I am crossing my fingers we will get to know more about Tylers family, they were such a hoot.

This book really checked off all the must haves for me when it comes to romcoms. It is my first read by author Summer Dowell, though I did already own the first 2 books in the The Wedding Business Series and I can’t wait to read them both. I have been following Summer on Instagram for a while now and she is just such a sweet, fun person. She, like myself, is a mama of many and knowing how much goes into that I am in absolute awe that she is is stringing words together in such a wonderful way. This book was delightful, witty and just an absolutely perfect clean romance. I would whole heartedly recommend it to fans of authors such as Sarah Adams and Sophie Kinsella.

Thank you to Summer Dowell and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for my honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Summer Dowell is one of my favorite clean romance authors! I was so excited to read her newest book, and the third in the series. I have been loving this series so much. I didn’t want it to end! This book was absolutely the cutest. I loved the slow burn romance, and the storyline. If you haven’t checked her books out yet, I highly recommend it!

It took me 4 or 5 chapters to properly get into hence only a 3 star. Once I got past the first 4 or 5 chapters, I found it a good enjoyable read. Quite light and relaxing. Perfect with a cuppa.

I adore the whole enemies-to-lovers trope and thought it was handled really well here. Lots of fun banter and teasing, but with a touch of attraction and loads of chemistry. I thought things move at a believable pace and it was fun to see these two grow as characters.

Loved it. This was a delight to read- Lots of humor and best of all it was clean.
I loved every interaction between the two main characters. All of the conversations seemed pretty realistic to me (they talked and acted like normal, everyday people).
I have read the other books in this series and I enjoyed seeing characters I was familiar with pop up in this book. Although you could read this as a stand-alone and have no problems.
For sure this is a book I would tell people to read- it was entertaining and had a great ending.

This is the third book in The Wedding Business Series and what a delightful read it was! I have not had the opportunity to read the previous books, but you can be sure I will remedy that soon! I'm always on the lookout for a good rom com and this one was just what I was looking for! This is a sweet and lighthearted enemies to lovers rom com with characters who are cute and relatable and you will instantly fall in love with. Avery is in the wedding planning business and is a workaholic. Her career is her life and she doesn't have time for anything else, especially love. She appears put together on the outside, but is hiding a vulnerability. When Taylor, a photographer, comes into the picture, boy do the sparks fly - in more ways than one! While Avery is organized and put together, Taylor is more laid back, and that really drives her crazy, but also makes for some fun banter between them. The story had me smiling and laughing out loud at times, and it was a lot of fun to read. I found this to be a thoroughly entertaining and adorable story and am glad I had the opportunity to read it.

I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

A sweet romance that is perfect for anyone. I love the enemies to lovers trope! It may be one of my faves! Who doesn't love when they hate each other first and slowly grow to admire, like and eventually love each other? The characters were well written, believable and real. They each had flaws and obstacles of their own that they needed to overcome. Which made it even more believable. Sometimes, main characters are written as flawless and there isn't much growth. That's what I loved about this book. By the end, they had come such a long way. This really was a delight!

first of all, thank you to the netgalley and publisher for this ARC.

what an enjoyable read ever! On Schedule is very cute and sweet book ever. i’m so glad that i read this in February. a short novel but really well-written and has great plot. this is the third book in the series but we could read as a stand-alone. this is my first time reading a book from Summer Dowell and in this series. absolutely cute i really love it. in this book we got, Avery who is a wedding planer and Tyler who is photographer and they have to work in a wedding together. very interesting story, i love the chemistry, THE BANTER AND THE SARCASM OH GOD. what i loved more about this book is we got a dual pov. for me, it was great that this book is a clean-romance bcs is already perfect like that. and the ending is just really ended so well and perfect. did i mention theres a cute puppy? bcs oh god the puppy is so lucky istg. the relationship between Tylee and his family also the most adorable thing ever. in this book we got to learn and know that family and friends comes first before works. that’s happened in Avery’s life. she basically working so hard and forget to find a boyfriend or being in love. ALSO WE GOT A TAYLOR SWIFT REFERENCE AHHH IM SO IN LOVE. in conclusion, i LOVE AND ENJOYED THIS BOOK SO SO MUCH. i do recommend this book to who loves:

-clean-romance
-enemies to lovers
-boy falls first
-cute moments
-full of banter

Talk about a sweet Valentine's read. I loved so much about this book, starting with the stunning, career driven Avery. This girl will not breathe if she doesn't schedule it in and I loved how Tyler worked to push her buttons.
The cover of this book instantly drew me in with the adorable dog and the bright colors.

This is such a cute conclusion to Summer’s “Wedding Series” (not sure if that’s the official series name, so please correct me if I’m wrong). I binge-listened to the first two this summer and they are so cute. Think 90s or early 2000s rom com movies cute. And her conclusion is spot on too!

Avery is a type A, control freak, J-Lo wedding planner. Everything is perfect ALL. THE. TIME. So when she runs into a photographer who is more “laid-back lumberjack” than top dollar wedding photographer, she finds she gets a little push back.

Tyler knows what he’s good at, and what he’s good at is photos. All types. All angles. All the time. So when he’s booked to record all the wedding things for a clients big day, he’s in board, until he meets the wedding planner. That first meet, yeah, it didn’t go well.

But over time the two find that each one is a little softer than their original hard lines and edges showed.

Me personally, my favorite highlights are the following:
🌮 The taco place where Tyler spills chili sauce on his shirt and Avery performed emergency stain removal

🌮The trifecta of road trip snacks - Cheetos, peanut m&ms and sour patch kids (like, if this is you, we are instantly #bestfriends)

🌮the darkroom scene 😘😘😘
Thank you Summer for that one! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (yet still clean!)

🌮Avery’s breakdown at the wedding

And so much more! I loved this book. Literally read it in a day! I can’t wait to binge the entire series I’ve the summer. Again. Yeah, it’s that good!

Thank you to @netgalley for the complementary advanced copy! All thoughts and reviews are my own.

I loved it! If life doesn’t get in the way 😆 I could totally see this being a book you could finish in a cozy afternoon! It’s like a Hallmark movie in book form!⁣

I love both of our MC’s. Avery is a no nonsense, Type A personality, who has a ton of ambition and drive to achieve her goals. Tyler too has goals, but is more laid back and a huge charmer that you can’t help but love. They don’t exactly have wonderful first impressions of each other, and I am absolutely loving the enemies to lovers and opposites attract romance going on!⁣

Their banter and sarcasm is hilarious, but also balanced with sweet moments (just wait until you get to the part with the puppy 🥺) and plenty of tension between them. The fact that they are forced to work together is the cherry on top!⁣

Just a note that there isn’t any steam in this novel and it is the third book in this series, but I hadn’t read the first two books and am completely able to read this one as a stand alone! If you’re looking for a no-steam romantic comedy, pick this one up!

A fast pace read for every age. I needed a break between books and I did a good job picking this book.

The characters are great, easy, sweet, and very lovable.

I will definitely read the other books fro. This author.

Thank you,

Such a cute romance enemy to lover story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was just so light and happy in going through the relationship of Avery and Tyler. The only thing I wanted more of was the time of them being a couple written in but this was just adorable. The addition of the puppy made it even sweeter..

Avery is a wedding planner and Tyler a photographer. When they have to work
together with a mutual client, they start off on the wrong foot. As they continue to work together, feelings between them grow.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers
for the advance copy of On Schedule.
