This was a sweet and lighthearted romantic comedy - and a perfect February read! Avery was a determined, levelheaded person, Tyler was confident, funny and charming, and their conversations and banter was some of the best I've ever read! Both - but especially Avery - were afraid to commit and hid their insecurities behind their work personalities, but the chemistry was there from the beginning. Tyler's family was wonderful - not to mention Elvis! I give three and a half stars to this delightful Valentine read.

A side note: this is in no way the fault of the writer and doesn't affect my rating, but for some reason this one was a bit hard to read: it kept jumping to the beginning, even if I tried to bookmark the page I was on, and the same happened when moving my device. Going back to the table of contents and trying to remember which chapter I was on was a bit tiring. This has never happened to me before.

On Schedule is the perfect ending to this series and is definitely tied for my favourite with It's Just Business (you can't make me choose between Tyler and Austin). This time we're focused on wedding planner, Avery and photographer, Tyler. The pair have to work closely when one of their clients asks Tyler to take photos of all the behind-the-scenes and preparations before the big day. While they get off to a rocky start, they soon become friends even though they secretly both want to be more.

In the other books, Avery was always the organised straight-shooter out of the three main characters, but in On Schedule, we learn more about her upbringing and how this affects her adult life and relationships. I adored her chemistry with Tyler, which is apparent from the beginning thanks to the pair's tension and banter. I'm so glad we get to hear from his point of view as well.

This slow-burn romance is filled with swoony moments, as Tyler is a total charmer and definitely book boyfriend material. My favourites were basically every moment with Elvis the rescue dog and Thanksgiving dinner.

"Every ounce of female hormones in my body is being shot to my heart. Like a firing squad of estrogen or something." I feel you, Avery.

Overall, prepare to be swept off your feet by Summer's fun writing style. This is a closed-door romance perfect for fans of Sarah Adams and Emma St. Clair.

Released 17.02.2022 - I loved this book so much 🥺 I’m a sucker for weddings - these are actually the photos I used for references when I was buying my own wedding dress 👀 - and my dream job when I was younger was a wedding planner. This book gave me the much needed kick to get back into planning my wedding in nine months and the serotonin boost that only a co-worker hate-to-love, rescuing-puppies-together romance can give during a bad pain flare. ❤️

It is the third in a series but can definitely be read as a stand alone! I am however going to pick up the first two as soon as possible! 🤩

I love love love Avery and Tyler’s relationship growth and dynamic! This book is so feel good, definitely can’t wait to get the physical version on pub day! ✨

This book was such a sweet, lighthearted read. It has the enemies-to-lovers + opposites attract trope.

Avery is a type A wedding planner who follows her schedule to a T and has no time for love. Tyler is a talented wedding photographer who can’t help put push her buttons. The chemistry between them is perfect, and there is a reasonable/realistic pace to the feelings that form between the two.

The book has sass, witty remarks, a sweet puppy, and meddling family & friends. It gives off fun chick flick vibes. Even though it’s the third in a series, On Schedule can be read as a stand-alone.

I love Summer Dowell’s romcoms because they never leave me sad. They’re always that little boost of silver lining. Like sunshine peeking out from behind the clouds. Or like the joy of a fresh-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookie. Her books fall into THAT category. Warm. Delicious. Refreshing. Happy.

It’s been fun following Hope, Hayley and Avery in this series. Each book a pleasure to read in and of itself.

On Schedule is Avery’s story and it fit in perfectly with the other two. Avery, the wedding planner, falling for Tyler the wedding photographer was cute. And Tyler (and his flannel) were forever endearing. The banter was great. The push-pull of their relationship was primo. The happily ever after was worth the journey!

So if you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky read, read this one!

I loved this book in the sense of a casual read. This gave me a proper hallmark Christmas movie story vibe, and the best part is it seems like that was the whole point!

Avery is a wedding planner, top in her field and Tyler is a wedding photographer, top in his. They both come together for a wedding and start off on the wrong note. However, over the whole wedding planning and working in the same places at the same time, they are attracted to each other.

Some parts of the stories were super cliched for my liking and the story could use some more depth. There were parts where I thought that a person who is more career-oriented is shown as someone who is heartless and has no respect for relationships. This somehow rubbed me the wrong way. I don't see an issue with being career-oriented and not wanting relationships.

Then there's the whole Taylor Swift slander, which I HATE in anything. To be fair it was one part but still. I don't appreciate it and just felt like I needed to mention it here.

Overall it was a fun read, I do look forward to reading the first two parts of the series.

I love everything by Summer Dowell. She writes such fun light books, with heart, that make me laugh. This one was no exception.

This is the third book of the series and I have been hoping there would be a book about Avery. She’s structured and driven and I guess I relate a bit to her. Tyler is a photographer for a wedding she is planning and they do not start off on the right foot with each other. With a lot of forced proximity (one of my favorite tropes), these two get to know each other as they both care for an abandoned puppy and help plan and capture the moments that make up a wedding. All of their family and friends were fun side characters that added to the constant awkwardness. There’s lots of great banter, accidental texting, hilarious blind dates, and swoony dark room moments. RomCom fiction at its finest.

I'm trying to read as many romance novels as possible in February, and I was beyond thrilled when given access to this arc. I read the first two (standalone) books in Dowell's The Wedding Business Series (available on KU) to get a feel for the series and the author. I've had fun reading the series because the main characters in each book are all close friends who work in the wedding industry. I am happy to say that I've enjoyed them all, but this was by far my favorite, probably because I'm a sucker for an enemy to lover trope.

Avery, the main character, is a level-headed perfectionist who has inherited her parent's workaholic tendencies. She is by far my favorite of the main characters in this series. Her new-found-enemy, Tyler, is a passionate photographer who loves to push her buttons as much as he possibly can while they work together, and I am HERE for it.

Plus, Elvis. I'm not going to say more to avoid spoilers, but Elvis owns my heart.

I gave the previous two books 4 stars (because I couldn't give them 4.5). So yet again, 4 stars - but know that it's actually 4.5 stars!

From the first page of this book, I knew I was going to enjoy reading it! Avery, Haley, and Hope are a great friend group, and I loved the romance between Avery and Tyler! The romantic comedy voice is spot on, and I laughed so many times while I read this book.

Avery has a long list of things to do every day, and she thrives on that. She’s a multitasker who is sarcastic and funny, but doesn’t take time to relax. Tyler is a photographer and he enjoys getting a rise out of Avery. Their enemies to more story is so much fun! I loved how their relationship developed!

I really like stories where the hero or heroine has to overcome a way of thinking, like when someone is afraid of relationships because of what they saw modeled in their own family life and they have to overcome that fear. That’s done really well in this story!

Unfortunately, this was a DNF for me personally. I had a very difficult time relating to the characters, and perhaps if I had kept pushing past the 25% mark I could have found a way to connect with this. But up until this point the two main characters both feel childish and dramatic, and the best friends are meddlesome, awkward, and inauthentic. The animosity between Tyler and Avery felt forced so enemies-to-lovers could be checked off as a trope, and instead of Avery coming off as a boss babe she came off as insufferable.

I genuinely believe there are readers out there who will love this book and who will think it's a adorable and fun, but it just wasn't for me.

This is a sweet, lighthearted, fluffy romance without any smut and I liked the dual PoV aspect to the story (I am a big fan of having both love interests' PoV). It is a well written novel and even though it is virtually plot-less, it still provides a good source of entertainment. I liked the slow build to the relationship and Avery and Tyler are a cute couple - the puppy, Elvis, also adds to the cuteness of the story. I can't say that there was much to make the book stand out from the crowd, but it wasn't too long or boring. If you want excitement and adventure, I wouldn't read this book, but if you are after a delightful and soothing reading experience which will allow you to focus on and enjoy the characters instead of plot, this could hit the mark.

This book was cute. It was definitely a rom-com and I laughed a few times out loud but I felt like the reasons why they couldn't be together were not built up enough. It wasn't very believable in my opinion. It seems like they wanted to try enemies to lovers then sorta gave up on it.

I loved the banter and the time with Tyler's family was hilarious. I wish we had gotten some more time with the grandma.

The epilogue got me so frustrated because the timeline seemed I believe for the characters. It was a pretty decent story but I just felt like some parts were tied up to nicely and others were just not believable I'm sure other people will enjoy this book.

This had no sexual scenes and it did have somewhat of a slow burn.

<strong>Another great addition to the Wedding Business series.</strong>

I enjoyed Avery's fiesty nature in Hope and Haley's books, so I looked forward to reading what adventures/mishaps she would get up to in this book. Let me tell you, there's plenty of interest in this novel.

First off, Tyler was Swoon Central. And a bit of a "button pusher" when it came to getting a reaction from Avery, so he's got some "little kid" inside that plaid-covered heart of his... which made sense once we meet his family.

Next, Avery is pretty cool to be around with her regimented lifestyle, fascinating career and skill set, and her abysmal need to please others. Heh heh.

And the icing on the wedding cake? A little pup you'll fall in love with. 😍

Avery, the girl with the planner. The girl that plans everything in her life and her brides to be, of course it's her job. But the best things that happened in her life were the unplanned ones. I loved reading every single page of this book. It was filled with sweet and funny moments! Highly recommend!

So adorable! I enjoyed every minute of this one and couldn't put it down! I adore the whole enemies-to-lovers trope and thought it was handled really well here. Lots of fun banter and teasing, but with a touch of attraction and loads of chemistry. I thought things move at a believable pace and it was fun to see these two grow as characters.

Overall, this reminded me of a great chick flick, where you can curl up and enjoy a few laughs, some swoony romance with a fun setting. While this is the third book in the series, it stands very well on its own.

This was such an awesome read! Avery and Tyler’s story was fun, sweet and so well done. I loved how the relationship between these two unfolded. The transition from enemies to lovers was sweet, gradual and believable. The witty banter between these two was fantastically done. They made me smile and laugh so many times as the story progressed and I really had a great time watching them "hate" each other less and less and slowly falling in love.

This was such a fun lighthearted read, I had a permagrin on my face throughout. It also has some lovely moments of character growth and just was a really well-rounded story. I loved Avery and Tyler, and I loved them together. The combination of the battle of wits and flirting made for a delectably swoony concoction.

On Schedule by Summer Dowell is a fun contemporary romance about a wedding planner named Avery who’s planning a wedding for a wealthy client that also wants wedding photographer, Tyler, to photograph the whole wedding planning process. Unfortunately, Tyler insulted Avery’s expertise as a wedding planner, and now Avery doesn’t want to work with him.

Even though this is the third book in the Wedding Business series, On Schedule can be read as a standalone. If you want to learn more about Avery’s friends, then I recommend reading the first two books in the series: If It’s Perfect & It’s Just Business.

On Schedule is my favorite of the Wedding Business series. I enjoyed the love interest in this book and the chemistry the main characters have with each other.

The dual POVs (point of views) between Avery and Tyler added to the story. I find that I’m a big fan of having dual POVs between love interests because then I can read the thoughts that the characters have for each other.

The conversations between Avery and her two friends were quite funny. I especially enjoyed the Hallmark movie discussion at the beginning of the book.

There were a lot of moments throughout the book that made me laugh out loud. One of my favorite parts was when Tyler started speaking Wookie.

My only problem with this book was that I found Avery a bit annoying at times. I kept getting frustrated with her for how she acted towards Tyler.

Overall, this was a really cute book, and I would recommend this to anyone who likes clean romances.

On Schedule is the perfect conclusion to this stand alone series.

Avery is a wedding planner who has her whole life together and perfectly scheduled. She is punctual, organized, and busy. Avery is planning the wedding of a wealthy client who decides that she needs to have the entire planning process photographed. Enter Tyler and his flannel, sarcasm, and killer smile. Oh don't forget there's an adorable puppy named Elvis who wiggles his way into all our hearts.

My favorite part of Summer Dowell's books is the characters. They are real people with quirks that make you want to be quirky too.

On Schedule focuses on Avery, wedding planner extraordinaire, very by the book type of person that is neurotic about her schedule. Avery ends up agreeing that friends are able to set her up on a few blind dates where for the first time she wants to focus on her own love life. During this time she is also working on a very high profile wedding where for the first time she has to closely work with the swoon worthy photographer hired by the couple named Tyler.

This book read just like a romcom movie! It had humor, heart and many warm moments that I appreciate. This is the first clean romance book I’ve read in a long time and it was very refreshing. Summer Dowell mentioned in the comments that the inspiration for this series was based on The Wedding Planner movie starring JLo and I can totally see parallels.

I recommend this one to anyone looking for a warm, clean romance! If you’re tired of reading the typical trending steamy books give this one a shot!
