What can i say? This book had me from the very beginning.
Avery is your typical workaholic, not having time for much else in her life but her work and her schedule. That is until she meets Tyler, who her client has hired as the wedding photographer, for the wedding Avery is organizing.

From the start of their relationship, they push each other's buttons and don't necessarily get along.
But with time, each of them cannot help but find the other ones little quirks appealing.

This story is a slow burn, but the burn is so worth it. I enjoyed finding out all about both Avery, Tyler, and their friends. I also enjoyed the fact that neither of them wanted to change the other. they accepted them for who they were and that made me love them both even more.

Summer Dowell is delightful! I’m not gonna lie she had me hooked instantly with the Hallmark movie references, especially the nod to flannel and the puppy. I have always been a sucker for a good from enemies to lovers story and while I did love the banter and tension between Avery and Tyler, I think there were times when things progressed a little slowly. That being said I was rewarded by sticking around as I loved the ending! I would definitely recommend this book to friends!

Avery and Tyler start out on the wrong foot but before you know it, there are feelings neither one is ready to acknowledge. I enjoyed this clean, adorable romance and all it’s sarcasm and flirting. As Summer shares, her inspiration for this novel came from the movie, The Wedding Planner. A favorite romcom of mine as well. I love the subtle reference to M&Ms and and while this workaholic, type-A wedding planner does not steal the groom of a wedding she’s planning (thank you for that), she too learns to let go a little and finds her own happily ever after.

The wedding planner, the photographer, and Elvis

Avery and Tyler get off on the wrong foot when he makes an unfortunate comment to a mutual client in Avery’s presence without knowing who she is. It sets things up for a rocky working relationship over the next couple of months. Assumptions are made on both sides and tensions are high. Although they both work in the wedding business (Avery is a wedding planner and Tyler is a photographer), they come from completely different backgrounds. Will they learn to work together professionally? Can they get past their differences and grow to appreciate each other for who they are?

This is a full length, clean, romantic comedy novel. I liked that, within the story, there were subplots that broadened the plot and helped to develop the characters’ personalities. There was a good balance between dialogue and description. The characters were fun too. I liked this book and I recommend it.

With her two best friends managing to find the loves of their lives they are now keen to make sure that Avery finds hers too. Watching Hallmark moves they decide to set her up on blind dates to help her find her very own Hallmark true love moment. Wedding planner, Avery, however, feels as though she has no time for love in her life at the moment but agrees to keep her friends happy.

Meeting with a prestigious client, Tyler is keen to see what ideas she has for her wedding. Wanting to see how best to capture her special day, intrigued by the idea of capturing the entire wedding planning process alongside the usual wedding photos. From venue selection, bridesmaids dresses and cake tastings. He is about to put the downer on the venue her wedding planner has arranged for her when Avery arrives (fresh from the dentist and slurring her words) and takes an immediate disdain to him.

Attempting to keep things professional avert works around Tyler and his constant snap, snap, snapping as he takes photo after photo as they attend appointments. Disasterous blind dates, a broken-down car, an abandoned puppy at a gas station all feature on their journey to get Whitney to the alter. Coming from two hardworking attorney parents, Avery feels the need to constantly push herself and put in all the hours into her work – leaving little time for love but it helps to block out the loneliness she feels.

Avery is a wedding planner who sticks to lists and a schedule and she doesn’t have room to be distracted. Que in Tyler who’s a photographer who’s ready to show her everything she’s afraid of wanting.

The chemistry, banter and sarcasm between them was so good and you just kept rooting like everyone else around them to be together.

this was such a fun read and had me laughing out loud from avery’s failed dates to Tyler’s family having not a subtle bone in their body.

I loved how Avery and Tyler developed their relationship. The friendship between Haley, Hope and Avery was delightful. Not to mention hilarious. The epilogue was okay.
This book was an absolute five star read up until the separation. Then it went downhill for me. Sigh! Overall, I enjoyed this book. It had cuteness, silly sarcastic banter and an adorable puppy.

On Schedule is the third book in Summer Dowell's The Wedding Business Series, but can be read as a stand-alone. This was my first book by this author and I didn't feel like I'd missed out by not reading the other books first.

This book was sweet, fun, and a squeaky clean read! Avery and Tyler are both in the wedding business, Tyler a photographer and Avery a wedding planner. They get thrown together for a few months when their client decides she wants every single step of the wedding planning process photographed by Tyler.

They initially don't like one another but form a friendship over a sweet little rescue puppy they name, Elvis. Elvis was the perfect little addition to this story and their bonding over the dog was just the cutest!

I really enjoyed this book and read it in a day. I plan on going back now and reading the first two books I know I will read more by this author.

“You can’t schedule love”.

Okay, this rom com was adorable. It’s part of a standalone series which means I didn’t feel like I was missing anything even though I hadn’t read the previous two books.

What to expect:
Closed door romance. Enemies to lovers. Workplace (kinda) romance. Wedding planning. Puppy rescuing. A Taylor Swift reference (really sold me there). Different family dynamics. Working through fear. Cutest ending.

I enjoyed it so much!

On Schedule reminds me of a Hallmark movie with its light hearted, low steam romance. Avery and Tyler are reluctantly forced to work together and eventually develop feelings for each other- but not without some hilarious family get togethers, jealous acquaintances, and a puppy! The chemistry and dialogue between Avery and Tyler had me rooting for them to end up together from the very beginning.

This book was a total comfort read that could be read as a stand alone from the rest of the series. Summer Dowell has written a book that would satisfy any fans of the enemies-to-lovers trope!

This was a cute romance that I couldn’t put down. It’s a standalone but is the third book in The Wedding Business series, but you don’t need to read the others to understand this one as it’s a new couple. If anything this book made me want to read the others from the glimpses we see of the other characters.

Avery is a wedding planner, and is awfully good at her job. When she overhears her client listening to someone suggest she is not good at her job, she is not impressed. Avery is even more annoyed to find out it’s the photographer that is joining them for every planning event leading up to the wedding. It doesn’t help that the photographer is extremely attractive. Tyler, the photographer, didn’t mean to get under Avery’s skin but once he finds out how annoyed she gets, he can’t help but do or say things to irritate her more.

‘There’s nothing and then suddenly, pieces you had no idea were there to pop out at you.’

This was kind of like an office romance, as it was two work colleagues working together. I loved the banter between the two characters as they got closer and learnt to tolerate each other. Avery is a workaholic, she puts everything into her wedding planning business and leaves no time for relationships. Her two friends, Hope and Haley, set her up on some blind dates, which don’t seem to work out. But is that because she can’t get Tyler out of her mind?

‘When we’re apart, you’re on my mind, and when we’re together, I don’t want to leave.’

After a work event, Avery and Tyler come across an abandoned puppy, and Avery immediately falls in love. This is almost the tuning point in their relationship, as they spend a lot of time around this puppy. There were so many cute moments between these characters and I was grinning at certain scenes. The tension between these two in the dark room scene had me addicted! Avery is determined to remain professional, but she doesn’t want to take after her workaholic parents. I loved that Avery and Tyler were both vulnerable with each other and shared their insecurities about life.

This was a lighthearted romance that will leave you swooning and wanting more. I’m definitely going to be reading more from this author in the future!

On Schedule is a light and sweet read following the stories of a workaholic wedding planner and a wedding photographer.

Although they set out on the wrong foot, along the way they learn to communicate and open up to one another. Brought together by a chance encounter with an abandoned puppy, they gradually admit to themselves that they have feelings for one another.

This story had me laughing out loud, especially at that texting scene... IYKYK 🤣

I thoroughly related to Avery and Tyler's sarcastic relationship. Their chemistry was on point.
This is a clean rom-com, so if you're expecting spice this is not the book for you. Usually this is not my favorite kind of story 🤣 but it's the perfect palate cleanser after a heavy read.

This sweet romcom by Summer Dowell was the exact easy going, witty bantered read that I needed! The first chapter had me at the mention of ‘Hallmark Christmas movies’- my comfort movies, year round. I could tell after a couple of chapters that I wasn’t going to be able to put this book down, as it was refreshing, comical and I needed to see what happened between the handsome, opinionated wedding photographer and one of the hardest working wedding planners around. They are forced to work together as their mutual client wants Tyler, the wedding photographer, is asked to shoot things like cake testing, wine testing and they begin to develop feelings for each other. Tyler and Avery share quick witted responses that quickly turn into flirting and strong feelings for each other.

Tyler and Avery’s working relationship comes to an end, Dowel leaves us hanging for a chapter or two wondering if they will end up back together. The book ended slightly quickly, but exactly how I wanted!

First impressions are everything right? Have you ever thought about how terrible life would be if all we ever put on people was their first impression? I am glad we are more than that. Summer Dowell's book On Schedule is a great example of the reason why we should be a bit more lenient in those first impressions.

Avery is groomed to be a workaholic. She doesn't believe she has time for a love life, but is it only her work demands that are preventing that, or is it something more from seeing the examples around her? She relents to her best friends to give it a try but is less than charmed by these dates. Of course how can she be when she has her arch nemesis on her mind all the time. She does NOT want to think about that handsome man, but cannot help herself.

Tyler puts his foot in his mouth at the worst possible time and makes a terrible first impression with the wedding planner he will be working with (as a photographer for the wedding) over the next few months. His first impression isn't good, but slowly he shows his real self as Avery does the same. He does not want to be interested in this busy but beautiful woman, but it gets harder and harder with every hour they spend together.

I loved the quippy dialogue and humor in this book. Summer, once again, delivers a great story with fun characters to follow.

This rom-com had me laughing like a crazy lady to myself and I loved every page of it! I loved all the characters and the awkward situations they could easily find themselves in. If there’s a book I could choose to put as the sole example of what a great rom-com should look like it would 100% be this one!

When wedding planner and workaholic Avery Davis finds herself on bad terms with a new photographer her bride/client insisted on tagging along EVERYWHERE, she can’t help but also notice some pretty attractive features. Tyler is a 30yr old photographer who can’t stop secretly taking snapshots of Avery when she isn’t looking. It’s clear Avery wants nothing to do with any relationship especially after two blind dates her best friends put her through. But maybe all it takes is a stray puppy and some quality time to change her view of Tyler. Can she hold down a relationship or is she destined to be like her parents who prioritize work over everything.

Will she finally be able to make time for love or will her commitment to work get in the way?

This book was the perfect sweet and fluffy romance! It was easy to feel the chemistry between Avery and Tyler from the very beginning, and I loved the flirty banter they had going throughout the story. Avery's friends added some extra fun to the first part of the story as they set her up on disastrous dates and then tried to push her and Tyler together. And Elvis, the puppy, stole the show in several places as well. The only reason I couldn't give this five stars is because I wished Avery hadn't been so scared of commitment, and it was almost the end of the book before we got any resolution to the tension that had been building. I love a slowburn, but this one really kept me waiting. Now I'm looking forward to going back and reading the other books in this series that feature Avery's friends!

This was such a sweet and fun book! It was just so good and easy to read! I loved the characters and I was really engaged in the story, they had great chemistry. On Schedule is the third book in Summer Dowell’s The Wedding Business series.
I loved Avery, she was so relatable. She was a wedding planner so she was organized and on top of things, but work was slowly starting to control her life. She threw her whole self into running her business and helping brides have the most amazing day. She was so kind but she was also focused. I loved her growth as a character, as she learned to embrace life and love. I just really liked Avery and I loved how organized she was. She was a stubborn person but she was also trying to learn from her mistakes.
I also really liked Tyler, he was a perfect match for Avery. I liked how dedicated he was to his work but how he could also joke around. Tyler was a photographer and it was so interesting to learn about his job. He was a lot of fun to read about and it was funny to read his thoughts and interactions with Avery. He felt drawn to her and he wanted to see what made her tick. Will Tyler be able to work through Avery’s walls and see the real her?
Tyler and Avery’s chemistry was just perfect! I loved their connection. I really like how Dowell wrote this enemy to lovers, they didn’t feel hostile to me. They didn’t always get along but they were still polite and adults. It was sweet to read about them falling in love and connecting to each other. It was interesting to read about them trying to work through their relationship and trying to figure out if they could make something work.
I was enthralled in this story and I loved everything about it! It was funny but not too awkward and the characters were a lot of fun! This is definitely my favorite Dowell book. I would recommend On Schedule to those who enjoy contemporary rom-com with a slight enemies to lovers trope. On Schedule is a clean rom-com.

On Schedule is the third book in Summer Dowell's Wedding Business series and it did not disappoint! Summer writes such funny scenes (Tyler's Grandma cracked me up!) and such adorable romance! Avery and Tyler were so relatable and I loved their chemistry (hello photo developing! 😘) I recommend this book for a breezy romance that is squeaky clean!

I will read anything Summer Dowell writes. This was such a fun, hilariously sweet story with all the feels. I was immediately drawn into the narrative because the premise and characters were so interesting and funny. I finished it in one sitting because I enjoyed it so much. I'm going to go back and read the first two books in this series. This book is highly recommended for fans of romance and romantic comedies.
