When you lift a Carla Kovach book you can be assured that it is going to be a great read and this book more than lives up to that. I love that as well as an exciting police procedural this story contained lots about the lives of the team tasked with solving the crime. The characters are so vividly portrayed that I always feel as if they are old friends. This series would make a great tv adaptation, I even have the cast list in my mind if they need any input.

From the first page I was completely hooked with the story. The writing and the plot was amazing. This book had me turning the pages so fast to see what would happen. The ending was amazing.

I have always enjoyed this series although this installment was not my favourite.

It has a very interesting opening that immediately caught my attention. Jennifer and Annabel were walking home from a night out. A hit and run left Jennifer badly injured and Annabel missing.

Detective Gina Harte and her team worked hard on this case especially as Jennifer was one of their own. Unfortunately, it was a difficult one to crack. There were many suspects and red herrings and it was hard to figure out the motive and even exact crime.

In the end, for me, this might not have been as strong as other installments in the series but it was still an enjoyable read.

One Girl Missing is yet another twisted compelling masterpiece from Carla Kovach. You think you know where the story is headed and have it all figured out but you'd have to think again. Every chapter in thus book was so compelling it kept me reading this book late into the night. I was hoping that a few if Gina's personal issues are resolved but things got a bit more complicated for her by the end of the book. The plot was thick with suspense in this whodunnit and being the seasoned reader of this genre I thought I knew who the kidnapper was. Wrong! The book was fast paced & plot very interesting. I can't wait for the next book in the Gina Harte series!

One Girl Missing is suspenseful and will keep you guessing. So many things going on and you think you know what the outcome will be but boy this time you may be right but probably so wrong.

Didn’t realise this was a series, although it read ok being the first one I picked up. Think I would benefit from reading the rest of the series first!

Absolutely loved this book and although this Is the first book I have read in this series, I really enjoyed it.

Great pace, excellent character developing and I was on the front of this case.

Another great read by Carla, her books just keep getting better and better, I always look so forward to reading them and this one didn’t disappoint. It had more twist and turns than a rollercoaster and kept me guessing till the end and yet again I could not figure out who they were after and went through the whole of the characters. Definitely worth a read is you haven’t already

In general, I really enjoy British crime novels. This was my first time reading one of the DI Harte books. The majority of the book was entertaining and kept me guessing about who was ultimately responsible but I had it figured out by 75/80% of the way through. The problem was that by the time I figured out who was responsible, I can't say I really cared. It was a bit of a push to keep reading until the end. The ending also felt really abrupt and I'm not sure if the situation between Harte and Briggs was left that way to continue the series but it didn't feel necessary to even add it. I have really enjoyed the Detective Gina Harte series and liked where Gina headed in this one. As always, it further developed her as a character which I enjoyed because shes such a strong, female lead character. The events in this really kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldnt tell where it was going to go. I can't wait for the next in this series! I enjoy reading this series and this book did not disappoint. There was a lot going on with multiple people connected to Annabel. I was surprised with the turn of events between Gina and Briggs and hope they can figure things out. Looking forward to reading the next installment.

Book number 11 in the series. This book is easily read as a standalone. It had non stop action and I really enjoyed it. I love a book filled with suspense. There were so many suspects I didnt really know who did it.

A great addition to the series ! Had me gripped from the first page to the last and so many twists and turns with a great ending , highly recommended

Another winner from Carla. Why is it when I get given one of Carla's books, particularly the Gina Harte series, I have to stop everything else and hurry to finish the book I am reading. This one I waited though and wish I hadn't. It had me hooked from the start and I just love this series. Please keep writing I need more ! I cannot recommend this series highly enough and would give 10 if I could!

Loving the Harte series and look forward to the next one, this had me up half the night ploughing through the pages, lots of twists and turns and a fab ending! More please!

Addictive. Compelling. Just simply amazing. Like all of this wonderful author's books I could not put this one down too. A thrilling, just wonderful book.
