I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I believe in everybody's like there comes a moment when we need giudance and advice or, why not, a few suggestions on how we can improve our life. I think the book contains valid, well researched information ans it can be a tool for everyone who adopts the resolution of changing at least a part of how they deal with making their plans come true.

A good book to come and go with. I could not read it all at one time and it took me a while to actually get through it. Kelly urges the reader to dig a little deeper into one's values, drivers, and purpose in life. Question the status quo, to plan your life but to explore, and to live.

i enjoyed that it has some sections that are just to learn, some to make plans and than wraps it up in easy steps to look back at if necessary or wanted.

overall a well done book for anyone looking for an idea on how to get to a different place in their life but has no idea how to start.

As a certified integrative life and wellness coach, I'm always looking for new resources in the field. Kennedy promises a lot with this book: to "help readers build their confidence, declutter their lives, form strategic habits, envision their potential, prioritize their goals, and make their dreams a reality." Any one of those thing s could be its own book, so it's important to note upfront that The Life plan is a good overview of strategies that can help one live a more focused, fulfilling, meaningful life. There's not a lot of depth and nothing really new here. There are a lot of questions without context and rapid-fire tips without bigger picture understanding. Even the few client examples shared are short blurby anecdotes. The tag line is also a bit of a headscratcher: Simple Strategies for Building Confidence in a Changing World. There's very little dedicated to understanding and building confidence here and nothing that connects to the "changing world" concept. Bottom line: Kennedy is trying to do too much in one short book, and, as a coach, I don't know that something this superficial can actually have a real impact. This is Life Coaching 101, and while someone completely new to these concepts may find a few helpful nuggets, there are other more authoritative examples of life planning done more thoughtfully, strategically, and with more heart - like Michael Hyatt's "Your Best Year Ever" or Danielle LaPorte's "The Fire Starter Sessions."

I received a digital pre-publication copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
