Hyperbia by K Remington offers a fascinating blend of fantasy and science fiction elements. It does have a slow start, but overall, it is still an okay read. While it may not be a gripping page-turner from the get-go, the novel manages to engage readers with its plot twists and character development. The world-building in the book is rich and immersive, drawing readers into a vividly detailed universe that sparks the imagination. The book is full of hilarious situations that the characters find themselves in, adding a light-hearted and entertaining element to the story line.

This is the type of story that, for me, would be better if I could listen to in audiobook form. It is quirky and comical, which narrators do so well in capturing and bringing to life.

I love the world and the beings. Elves, ogres, goblins.. And I adore the sentient bus! I like the idea of this book, I am just unfortunately struggling to read it at the moment. DNF

I liked it! It took me some pages to really get into the story and I got lost a little here and there, but it was worth it! It has good (but long) world building, funny and weird characters. From time to time there were too many adult jokes.
What I missed most about the story was a better villain or at least not to end with her that quickly.
I liked it how the world was sort of the opposite from our norms and exactly the same at the same time. The ending was quite all right.

Getting through the first chapters was not easy, but as soon as one is more into the story it becomes more enjoyable. I did not particularly like the main character or the jokes. So Unfortunately not for me.
If you enjoy adult humor and don't mind self-deprication this might be for you.

I wasn’t too keen on this story as fantasy adventure goes, especially when the imp came into the picture. Killing the children was a no-no for me. The storyline was confusing, and the characters were not likable.
