A cute story that teaches the importance of following your intuition. Kids will undoubtedly face peer pressure at some point in their lives, and this book aims to help them deal with that. Their “inner voice” or intuition or gut feeling about a situation could make a big difference in how they handle situations if they learn to heed it. The illustrations are cute and work well with the story. Kids are sure to enjoy the story and illustrations while learning an important lesson!

A simple yet very important life lesson told in a fun, effortless way! Even though it's a book for children, I'm sure adults will equally enjoy reading it! The bright illustrations add to its beauty!

Reading this to my daughter and telling her that our inner voice is “The Holy Spirit” was even better!

Overall, I was glad the fox realized he messed up,

This book is perfect for teaching children about instincts and intuition. The little fox explores the forest with his mother's words in mind: "When you have to make a choice, listen to your inner voice". The little fox does disregard this lesson from his mother and gets himself into danger. Even so, this is a good learning opportunity for the little fox. I think young children (and really anyone) could value from the lesson at the core of this book. The illustrations are also gorgeous. The writing is also simplistic enough for young children to understand.

I think this book is essential for all children. The theme is obviously to trust your instincts and let them guide you to safety. The message is crucial to be known at a young age of innocence, and the way it was conveyed in this story makes a special read. Along with this, the beautiful illustrations, vibrant colors and precise drawings are sure to capture your child's attention. Reading out this book to your toddler will definitely make the experience more lovely.

'Listen To Your Inner Voice' by Catherine Flores with illustrations by Poopikat is the story of a young fox who is given great advice.

A young fox lives in the forest with his mother. She advises him to listen to his inner voice and the rest of the story is what happens when he doesn't. Eventually, he learns that his mother was probably pretty wise.

This is a lovely story, made so by the beautiful illustrations. The moral of the story is also pretty good and I think young readers will like this book.

Such a cute book! Perfect for kids! I read this to my 3 year old niece and she loved it! I’ll be buying a finished copy for her! Highly recommend

Cute illustrations but the story missed the mark. I liked the rhyme of the motto little fox was taught “when you have to make a choice, listen to your inner voice” but trusting strangers who seem nice isn’t necessarily a wise choice, no matter what your inner voice says.

This is such a sweet and amazing children's book about a little fox who gets lost and has to try to find his way back to his home in the woods, and his Mommy. His Mommy has always told him that he should always listen to his inner voice. He got lost because he didn't listen to it. Will he eventually learn how to listen to his inner voice and get back home?

I loved this book, and it made me feel all warm and gooey inside. It is just perfect, with beautiful illustrations, a great message and lovely writing.

A lovely album about trusting your inner voice. ^^

By using animals to facilitate children's understanding, the author approaches a concept that is quite complex to imagine. Nevertheless, the author transposes certain scenes into the life of a fox, it also presents subjects related to the animal cause, which can frighten children such as being eaten by an animal larger than oneself or even being killed for his fur. If these are interesting things to discuss with children to raise their awareness, here it remains quite raw and it could easily scare the most sensitive.
The design is very pretty and very round, which makes the boards pleasant to look at.

In short, a story with beautiful drawings and an original and interesting subject despite some scenes that are a little hard for the little ones. ^^

I grabbed a bunch of ARC children's books for our road trip last month and this was the favorite! They both really loved the illustrations, but the story really impacted them. A fox gets into some trouble, but gets out of it when he listens to his inner voice. This is now a household mantra, which is pretty awesome! I highly recommend this for any kid working on trusting themselves in decision making.

I really like this book. Great book about listening to that inner voice and what could happen when you do and don't. Would be great for a classroom or library.

The pictures that went with the book were well done and super colorful.

Overall, I definitely read more by this author.

This book illustrations are very beautiful, and the story is good as far as the message of listen to your inner voice and it it feels bad don’t do it. The only issue I have with the book even though I know that’s life cycles etc. is that some of the dangers may be to scary for sensitive children. Little fox goes exploring and has to make decisions along the way and face the consequences of those decisions.. Recommended for 7-9 year olds.

This book has so many wonderful life lessons for children. One of the most important message is the actually title “Listen to your inner voice.” It depicts a little fox and his mother who teaches her son valuable life lessons which the little fox goes on in the story to apply in his decisions. It teaches the importance of obedience to parents as well as being attentive . Overall, I would highly recommend this book! I cannot wait to read this again!

The graphics are stunning, true, but the story itself is also absolutely great. I loved it so much.
And not only because I love foxes so much. It teaches children to:
a) listen to you mom :D
b) listen to your guts, if it is telling you something is fishy, you trust it!
