I really enjoyed the plot of this book! It was pretty different than other romance books, and it’s a very charming read! Some parts or descriptions in the novel seemed to drag a little bit, but I was still intrigued to find out what would happen. Such a lovely summer read!

Emily has become one of my favourite authors, I have loved her books and this story was just as heartwarming and eventful as the last one. I lived my life through the main character, Lydia. Who wouldn’t want to just up and leave everything in search for adventure and love!

The setting is just perfect and as I’ve never been to Greece I would love to go! I recommend this as I really enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down! A fantastic adventure in to the sunshine!

I love the drunken beginning and how the story unfolds, thank you for my ARC in exchange for a review.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early copy of this book!!

This romance is pure escapism. The story is rather improbable, but I enjoyed being along for the ride. The descriptions of Greece were vivid and made me want to visit tomorrow! The characters were likeable enough and the story was sweet but the pacing was a bit slow for my taste. I obviously have mixed feelings about this one, but I'm going with 4 stars.

Take a Chance on Greece by Emily Kerr is a fun, escapist read that will transport you to beautiful Kefalonia for a romantic getaway that you will not soon forget.

Lydia discovers a surprising souvenir as she readies herself to depart Kefalonia following a girls' holiday. Upon realizing that she has had 'Awesome Andreas' tattooed on her lower back on a drunken night out, she is shocked again by the fact that she has no idea who this man is. Lydia briefly returns to the UK to tidy up some loose ends, and then flies back to Greece to track down the man who was responsible for her rash decision, the elusive Andreas.

This is a feel-good story about starting over and finding the courage to pursue what your heart desires. I am left longing for my own Greek adventure, and recommend this as a refreshing summertime read. 4.5 stars

Many thanks to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for an ARC.

A real feel good of a read. Set in Greece it follows the story of Lydia and her search for the history of her unfortunate tattoo. The twists and turns of her search are entertaining and heartwarming. All in all a perfect book for the beach this summer.

Loved this book. The descriptions of Kefalonia made you feel that you were there. Lydia wakes up on her final day and discovers she's got a tattoo on her back that says Awesome Andreas. She doesn't know who he is or how they met.. She goes back to England and then discovers she doesn't want to be in that life so goes back to Kefalonia to find Andreas

I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic, humorous story about a young woman's adventures in Greece. While on vacation, Lydia has too much to drink and gets a tattoo with "Amazing Andreas" written on it. She doesn't remember who Andreas is or why she got the tattoo but when her relationship at home falls apart, she returns to Greece to find Andreas. Alexis befriends her and helps her find a job. Their friendship progresses as she searches of all the Andreas which is apparently a common Greek name. Of course, the plot thickens and grows. The characters are perfectly imperfect and the romance will warm your heart. I read this book on Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Wildly improbable and utterly predictable but an enjoyable enough way to spend a few hours. One thing Emily Kerr does very well is describe the Greek island of Kefalonia. She makes its coastline and inland hills sound appealing even to me, and I have never had any desire to visit Greece!

This is a delightful romance with realistic characters set in a beautiful town in Greece. From beginning to end I was entranced by the descriptions of Sami and the storyline. The author wrote a book that flows smoothly, making me read to the wee hours as I didn’t want to put it down. It was so easy to loose myself in this book and I was rooting for Lydia the whole way. While this is a romance it wasn’t contrived and it didn’t feel like every other romance novel. It was a fun read and left me smiling and feeling happy. Many thanks to One More Chapter and NetGalley for the invitation to read this ARC. It was a great getaway.

I really enjoyed Duvet Day, so I was really keen to read Take A Chance on Greece. I'm so glad I did. The writing was funny, warm, and uplifting and the story had everything you'd expect and hope for from a romance. This book would be a fantastic summer read. Highly recommended.
