Good read. Great characters, enjoyed the setting, lots of side stories weaved into it and it flowed really well. A good read for a rubbish day. Will make you feel better!

I know, I do this from time to time, but it warrants it, am I right? The colors, the title, the image, all work to provide a little magic before we even crack the spine...virtually even. Anywho, while your mindset is all prepared for what's to come...is your heart?

Ella and friends were a touching group. They all play their parts, and have much to learn in the love department, but they stick to reach other through thick and thin. No matter the dicey adventures between the sheets one chooses, nor the extramarital affair that might not be everything it seems...there is no situation too big, or moment too small for this trio, and they seriously have each other's backs. Our gal Ella, though, gets a lot of page time and with good reason. She's probably got the most going on in her life, right now, and she's treading water trying not to go under. Good friends, close family, and a great job go a long way in supporting her...well, at least the first two...or rather the first ONE does. Her friendships are strong, definitely a quality not quantity situation, but her family ties are about to experience a pretty big shift that eventually develops into its own version of the Marianna Trench...but never say never because it'll all come right in the end. For better or worse, right? 😉

The missteps, the hiccups, the face offs that lead to new life paths to follow, and the misunderstandings that could have been sorted with a few questions and answers in lieu of stewing, and imposed distance, all go into making you love the characters THAT much more, as you turn epages into the night. It's a great pick for your summer reading nights, and a match made in heaven for fans of either genre mentioned previously. So, go ahead...take a walk down the aisle, and reach for your happily-ever-after...between the pages of this lovely book!

Ella is a lovely heroine I adored and readers will be rooting for her and cheering her on to get her much deserved Hollywood ending. Sandy Cove is an idyllic place readers would love to move to as it is full of eccentric, loveable and very colourful people readers just can help but be charmed by.

A gorgeously escapist summer read, A Wedding at Sandy Cove is another surefire smash hit by Bella Osborne.

This is the full book of the three novella length stories included. It was a fun series, with our girls having their ups and downs finding their self confidence with mishaps along the way.
Beachy fun and romance you're sure to enjoy. Perfect summer beach read.

A Wedding at Sandy Cove by Bella Osborne, published during July , 2022, is one of the long- line of books released as a light summer read. Apparently, this book was initially written as a four-part series and been compiled into a single book. And here I am to let you all know if it's worth your while or not.

The book opens with Ella, the principal female character, a seamstress who specializes in alteration of wedding gowns, as she juggles handling the clients coming in for a fitting and meeting with the new potential clients, all the while trying and failing to get it across to her employer that she already has too much work than she can handle. And then we meet her commitment- phobic friend Lucy and about-to-be-married friend Brittany. Both Lucy and Brittany try to get Ella agree to a blind date set- up by Brittany, so as to bring her out of the slump she has been since she was dumped by her ex-boyfriend Todd.

However, things don't go to plan during the date; just as she discovers that her dad is on an intimate date with a woman who is not her mom, she meets Kit O'Leary, the son of the woman he father is dating/having an affair with. This meeting precipitates a series of events, that lead Ella onto a road of self-discovery and wisdom. Interspersed within her story is Lucy's - seeing one of her friends getting married and another on the path of love, makes her question herself about the kind of life she is living and if it might not be worth her while to take a little risk in her love life.

Through these very real, true to life characters, the author Bella Osborne gives the readers a window into life as it is for many women, making them question themselves and their priorities in life, helping them reach within and explore all the unrealized potential they might have. In fact, it felt like reading a slice-of-life story - a story which is so close to real life that it felt mundane at parts. In fact, it's not that long a book but still the story felt long, mainly because of the long and detailed portrayal of the courtship between Ella and Kit. I felt those could have been cut- short a bit. In fact, it was Lucy's story which kept me hooked into the book - her strange situation with the job she had recently taken on and even her fiesty nature captured my interest substantially.

This book is the prefect choice if you are looking for something very light but that which you can pick up at your leisure.

This is my first book by this author, and it definitely won't be my last. This book gives you a little bit of everything. We have some drama, action humor and of course a romance. Ella is our main character and at the beginning she's a little bit of a doormat. Everyone pretty much walks all over her because she is a people pleaser and never stands up for herself. I loved seeing her grow in that aspect and I loved the romance between her and Kit although I wish it would have happened a little sooner, but I get why it didn't. I laughed a few times all throughout the book. I love when books make me laugh. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more by this author.

This is the first book I have read by this author, and I really enjoyed it. Lovely story line with great characters in a great setting. Recommend

With summer drawing to a close I wanted to read a book that would keep the summer vibes going and this didn't disappoint. We all love a bit of escapism and this story gave us that. How I wish my life could be like this.

I really enjoyed this, loved the characters (except Ella’s boss!). Lovely read, with an interesting twist in the story.

I love Bella Osborne’s writing & usually torture myself by reading ‘part 1’ and then have to wait for the other parts to come out (by which time I have often read other books in between and have either forgotten the storyline or am interested elsewhere, so subsequent parts don’t get read). Therefore it is so good to be able to read the full story in one book, without interrupting the storyline mid-flow.
A lovely storyline, filled with humour & touching moments and featuring believable, fully-formed characters. I really enjoyed reading this book, so much so I read well into the night on more than one occasion as I was enjoying the read so much I lost track of time.
I found myself really rooting for the main character as she contended with a truly awful boss & a nasty bride before setting out on her own. The developing relationship between the two main characters was touching and although we all know books generally have a happy ending, I was really hoping for one for the two of them.
A great read, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Bella Osborne is so good at creating characters that feel multi-dimensional, and a story that makes you want to keep reading, and this book, A Wedding at Sandy Cove was no exception. In this story, Ella works in a bridal shop with the most hideous slave-driving boss who takes complete advantage of her. Having come out of a long term relationship, she agrees to go on a blind date, which brings massive shocks that links her to Kit. Kit is single, but has become a father figure and co-parent for his young nephew Isaac.

I loved the way Ella interacted with Isaac, and his pet rat, which provided some really humorous moments!

The brides Ella met during her work were a lot of fun although with one or two exceptions, and I loved the idea of the Stars Wars wedding. I loved how proactive Ella became, with a little help from Kit, and it was wonderful to see her confidence and self-esteem soar as she progressed. I adored her best friends Lucy and Brittany, although I have to say their bridesmaid dresses sounded hideous, until Ella was able to improve them considerably.

If you’re looking for a wonderful summer read, with some funny moments (as well as some awkward ones), together with a happy ending, then this is definitely the book for you.

could not get into this book. All the characters seemed off One was blind to others treating her badly, one was too out spoken and the owner of the wedding shop was just mean.

Ella works in a wedding dress shop and alters the dresses for her not so great boss Wanda. She dreams of owning her own business. Her friends, Lucy and Brittany, are trying to get her back to dating and while waiting for her date to turn up, she sees her dad with another lady. And so she meets Kit.
Set in Heachum on the Norfolk coast, Bella plainly knows the area well. I loved and cared about the characters and she has researched the wedding business.

Ella alters wedding dresses for brides and in the course of her work she get to meet array of brides but with a Boss that treated her badly. She believe in true love and romance even though she often sees the bride at their worst. It was at a blind date meeting, Ella meet Kit and they formed a friendship. There is spark between then but both of them trying hard to conceal it.

This book focuses on friendship, family and 2nd chance in love. Kit come across as someone who is moody and broody and it is someone that I would like for as one of the main character in the book. However, I do love Ella, watching her gaining her confident though I find Ella over did on the accommodating to peoples demand which lead to people take advantage of her kind nature. I enjoyed all aspects of the story very much. Overall it is a delightful read for me.

Oh boy. Well, maybe I just had too high hopes for this one, and in the end I was a bit disappointed.

There was this one scene in particular that I though was just terrible. A couple more instances that were not quite as bad, though they were close. Plus one too many stereotypes.

And there was also the fact that I found the second POV too out of harmony with the first one. Literally like reading two different books at the same time.

On the positive note, I did enjoy Ella setting up her own business and all the bridal talk. I wish there was even more of that. Isaac was also really cute, and I adored his pet and Pirate.

The main character Ella is very likeable and it is lovely to see her grow in confidence as the book progresses.
This book is full of warmth, humour, friendship and romance. It us a oerfect summer read.

This is the last novella in the series of A Wedding at Sandy cove and I enjoyed it every bit as much.
With Brittany’s wedding over and Kit and Ella no longer speaking this book tells a lot of the story of Lucy and how she tries to adapt to life with her mum Terri.
Lucy also finds out who her mystery stalker is!
Not so much about Ella’s business but how will her dad and Kits Mum get on and will Ella and Kit make up and move on with their friendship/ relationship and what will become of Todd.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole of this story. It was filled with love, friendship and loyalty. A warm funny read.
Another cracking book by Bella.

A quick and easy read that I found myself picking up after a long day to unwind. The characters are beautifully written and I came to love them within the first few pages and was rooting for them all the way to the end. At times I wanted to stop reading because I just wanted the experience to go on for longer.

Ella's boss treats her like a doormat but doesn't stand up for herself until she meets and becomes friends with Kit and she realises it's time she stood up for herself so decides to starts her own wedding dress alterations business and tell her boss where to stick her job !
As you can probably guess there is a wedding, it's one of her best friends Brittney and Ella and the other friend Lucy are bridesmaids who would be wearing hideous dresses without Ella's intervention
A brilliant book of friendship and love with a missing teenager thrown in for good measure.
Absolutely loved it

This book is brilliant, I was laughing out loud throughout and it brought a big smile to my face. I have enjoyed every one of Bella’s book that I have read, and this one was no exception.

Ella works with brides all the time working as a seamstress in a bridal gown shop, however she is also unlucky in love. She agrees to go on a blind date, where a mix up means she meets Kit. Kit unexpectedly coming into Ella’s life changes the course of how things are going…for the better.

I loved Ella’s character and seeing her grow and become more confident. And the challenge that she and Kit go on brings some funny moments. The relationship that the pair develop during this time is lovely, and you can see how it is helping Ella to step out of her shell.

Some of the book was also from Ella’s friend, Lucy perspective, a divorce lawyer, and we see a more serious matter dealt with from her amongst the fun that the two of them have with their friend Brittany whose wedding is approaching. Dress fittings and hen parties always provide some fun.

Romance, humour, easy reading, escapism….what more could you want.

I can’t wait for more from Bella.
