This book has everything that makes for a perfect summer read. and you can't go wrong when Bella has written it. This is one that you really wish you were in the pages living the life and not just reading about it. Well worth 5 stars

I read this as a three part serial before finishing the complete novel.

This is the first book I've read by Bella Osborne and I thoroughly enjoyed her easy style of writing. The plot held my interest throughout and the characters were likeable and well developed.

A heart-warming, light summer read.

This was a lovely book about friendship, family dynamics and second chnces with one of the most gorgeous covers EVER.

The book had a light wobble at the beginning of part 3 and I was already starting to think "oh - oh, not good", but it was quickly back at its best.
For me, though, the weakest point was Kit. Sorry, but it's true. He was so moody and broody and always blowing hot and cold, feeling offended at every little thing and I truly admired Ella and her patience and her not giving up. She must have seen something in Kit that I haven't seen. The last scene at the beach, I though, oh no, here we go again, but phew, he rehabilitated himself there. I loved how Ella gained her confidence, how she grew to be strong and confident, and I loved the characters surrounding her, especially Lucy and her cynical view on love.

There was plenty of drama and tons of humour, some truly heavier and important issues that the author tackled in the right way, brilliant characters and plot with many twists and turns - a great summery read that I very much enjoyed.

This was such a great summer read from Bella Osborne. Iloved getting to meet Ella and her friends and see her drive for business and her drive to get her life back on track. Ella really shows us that we don’t have to be perfect and that everyone struggles but that we can all make something of ourselves if that’s what we want. She is a great character to spend this novel with, especially because she comes with an amazing group of ride or die friends!
I loved getting to meet Lucy in particular. She has a whole subplot of her own going on and I really hope we get to meet her again soon! Lucy is a lawyer and so we actually get to follow one of her cases through the novel. It dips inot all four parts of the book so we can get updates along the way. The ending of Lucy’s story verges on the crime/thriller novel and so I was glad to have her in the book as a bit of an antidote to the romance and wedding side of things!
Brittany is getting married and so we have that to contend with. There are the usual awful bridesmaids dresses and embarrassing relatives on the hen do but her wedding is what ties all of the parts of the book together and what brings these friends together for a mutual event/love/hate. I adored how she was such a lynchpin in the whole story.
Of course there are a few love interests along the way for our girls, all of them complex and all of them interesting and fully developed characters in their own rights. No spoilers here but I was definitely so here for all of the drama that each and every romance throughout the book brought.
I always love a Ball Osborne four part series but I really did enjoy this one. It had a little bit of everything and definitely had me hooked from the very first page!

An enjoyable summer read - light romance at its best. Ella works in bridal wear and is coming to terms with her own lost romance when she meets Kit by chance. They are thrown together to try to disrupt their parents’ budding romance and build a friendship as Ella is forced to face her fears and move on with her life.

An uplifting ending to an easy read.

Once I'd got past the strangeness of the title and front cover of this book (neither sums up the plot), I began to enjoy it very much. A Wedding at Sandy Cove features three friends, Ella, Lucy and Brittany, the last of whom does indeed get married at Sandy Cove but that is not the plot of the book. Ella is the lead. Ella who is constantly bullied and belittled without even realising it, who never stands up for herself and wants everyone else's life to be perfect.

Strong characters, a pleasant Norfolk setting and a plot that twists just enough make this an engaging summer read.

What a lovely book about love, friendship and family. Ella works in a bridal shop doing the alterations with Wanda as her terrible bully of a boss. Ella is such a lovely character who has broken up with Todd and then meets the very delicious sounding Kit. Kit though looks after his nephew with his mum Jane and there’s the dilemma. Can he commit to having a relationship with Ella or should he always put his nephew first? There are many other stories that are woven in with the main story but all very relevant. A brilliant cast of characters with a real sense of love and deep rooted connections throughout this books with most of the characters wanting to do the right thing. The fact that it’s set in the area that live was a bonus!

I feel that I confidently say that Ella is one of my favourites from Bella Osborne. She has a naturally sunny disposition that sadly leaves her open to being taken advantage of. She is blessed with good friends who have helped her recover from a nasty break-up. The story opens with Ella agreeing to a blind date. What she doesn’t expect is for the date to result in mistaken identity and a reason to revaluate the one relationship that she’s always relied upon.
Ella works at a bridal boutique carrying out alterations for a range of brides whilst working for a slave-driving boss. Even her own best friend has bought a bridesmaid dress for her to wear in a very special shade of dog-poo brown. Things need to change but she has no idea where to start.
As a result of the blind date that never happened, Ella meets Kit, and they form a rather strange friendship. There’s an obvious attraction between them both, but for a variety of reasons, there’s no way that they can ever have a relationship.
There’s plenty of Bella’s trademark comedy as we meet a parade of bridezillas and more reasonable ladies. One laugh-out-loud moment came with an impromptu flashing for a couple of school kids! But the real story sits with Ella’s discovery that she is capable of more than she’s ever given herself credit for.
As she eventually makes it to her friend’s wedding at Sandy Cove, she is faced with several challenges that lead Ella to make decisions about her own future and who will be a part of it.
This is another fabulous book from Bella Osborne. She is skilled at developing characters who stay with the reader, long after the story has ended. I will certainly be thinking of Fin for some time to come! But the story isn’t just a traditional romantic comedy, there is another layer which focuses on Ella’s desire and drive to find her independence and to make a success of herself.
I can highly recommend this wonderful book and will look forward to the next one.

A lovely fun read with themes of friendship, marriage and disastrous matchmaking that is equally humourous and sweet a real treat to enjoy

The story
Ella lives in a Norfolk seaside town and works as at a bridal shop doing complicated alterations. She own relationship with Todd came apart and she is finding her own voice, especially with the bullying owner of the shop. Her best friend Lucy is a divorce lawyer who has sworn off love and marriage in favour of more convenient arrangements. But their other friend Brittany is getting married soon and a chain of events is set off for both Ella and Lucy that sees their lives changing.

My thoughts
I really enjoyed Bella Osborne’s previous books that I have read. This story has a dual POV but it’s not the MC and a love interest, rather it’s the two friends. I liked how both Ella and Lucy grew as people through the story, and the love interest factors were treated with delving into their emotions rather than steaminess. Towards the end of the story, things get a bit hair-raising which didn’t really fit the tone of the rest of the story in my opinion. This is an easy, entertaining read.

What a delightful, fun, summer read! This book was truly a joy and kept me entertained from start to finish!

I really liked this romantic story!

Ella is a talented seamstress who works in a bridal boutique, altering dresses for brides. She works for the horrible Wanda, a woman who doesn't appreciate Ella and is downright nasty, a lot of the time. Feeling unhappy in her workplace and not having any romance in her life, Ella agrees to a blind date. This brings her into contact with Kit, a man who likes Ella, despite himself.

There is some turmoil, of course, but I liked both Kit and Ella, and I was constantly cheering Ella on, as she tried to make a better life for herself. Trust me, if you were a bride who needed an alteration, you would want an Ella in your life :) She just seemed like a kind, sweet girl.

4.5 stars from me.

This is a delightful, uplifting and, at times, hilarious read. At first I didn’t like the story involving Ella’s parents, but the other story lines kept me hooked. I particularly enjoyed the hens night and bridezilla tales - laugh out loud funny.

Plot: Ella is a seamstress working in a bridal shop for the boss from hell. Recently dumped by her boyfriend and about to be a bridesmaid at her best friend Brittany's wedding she feels like life is passing her by. After agreeing to be set up on a blind date that doesnt show up she meets Kit.
Kit is adament he isnt looking for romance, not even a friendship with Ella but what happens when their paths keep crossing.

Review: This is a great relaxing read. I loved all the characters in this book especially Ella and Kit. It was a lovely enjoyable storyline and tackled some important subjects along the way. It will definitely not disappoint and i would highly recommend it.
