Unsettling, Chilling…
The second in the Rose Gifford series finds the detective with an unsettling and chilling case. What exactly happened at number 42 Wyndham Terrace? Initially Rose is called out to a series of neighbourhood disturbances at the property but Rose knows that something about this house simply isn’t right. Gregory knows it too - the young resident is afraid and his parents don’t believe him. What is it? It’s Rose’s job to find out. The supernatural crimes team is back in force. With a well crafted and credible cast, this menacing tale is packed with atmospherics and makes for a unique and enjoyable read. A worthy follow up to the first in the series.

Well written with a compelling storyline and well dveeloped characters taht were relatable and believable. The story was gripping right from the start, fast paced, twisty and unpredictable with a chilling undertone. I loved it,

12 year old Gregory knows something is wrong in his house. He hears whispers, bad whispers. And then there's the boy in the wall...
Oh wow this was absolutely incredible! Rose was a fantastic main character, and her blessing relationship with Adam is such a beautiful addition to the story.
Let's talk about how chilling this book is - because there was parts that gave me goosebumps! It made me think of how you never really know the full history of a house... which is also pretty scary!
This is due to be published 21/07 - preorder/add to your list if you love a good, chilling, spooky story!
