Struan Murray completes his Orphans of the Tide trilogy with a thrilling and satisfying conclusion. Returning, once more, to the The City, characters from both previous books return and Murray creates very interesting interplay between characters who had never met before. After the first two excellent books in the trilogy, I was really worried that Murray would not be able to tie up all of the loose threads and give us a fulfilling ending but my fears were allayed and my expectations were surpassed. I shall miss Ellie Lancaster and her adventures. Great work Struan Murray. I look forward to any further novels and will definitely be recommending the Orphans of the Tide Trilogy to my Year 6 readers at school.
