Great resource especially when you aren't quite too sure of what to do on Netgalley for newcomers. Thank you for providing this! Much appreciated.

I reviewed the 2024 version and will link that here. This was my review of this great resource. The original was really good too, but the updated one is the one to read.
Would you like to up your game on NetGalley? Do you want to have access to Advance Reader Copies (ARCs) of upcoming books? NetGalley makes it really easy to get into this wonderful world of books with their NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit by We Are Bookish.

This is a short digital guide, with links to further educational content. It would be really helpful for someone just getting started on NetGalley and I wish I had read it three years ago! It’s also a great resource for established NetGalley reviewers because it’s continually updated and there is so much helpful information.

I’ve used NetGalley for 2-3 years now and I learned so many things! I read the guide and clicked on all the links, which led me to further opportunity to learn and grow. I’ve decided on a reasonable plan of action for the next three months and then I plan to go back to the guide to sharpen my reviewer sword. NetGalley has provided tools to help us understand what the publishers are looking for in these reviews and also what we can do to be more attractive to the publishers we would like to review books for!

Warning: If you are getting on NetGalley for the first time, be careful and only request a handful of books. Read those, review them, and then ask for more. It is way too easy to get super excited and download books you end up not being so excited about. It’s better, way better, to start slow and figure out what balance you want between these and the books on your shelves at home or the library.

This may be a helpful resource for new users to NetGalley but for those of us who have been doing it for a while, it doesn't provide any new information.

This is a "book" of all things NetGalley. This is great for seasoned users and new users alike. It has a lot of the information you need, especially to get started, and the ins-and-outs of your NetGalley account.

This was very useful. I refer to it on occasion because it had great suggestions and tips on reviewing.
Thank you for putting this together!

I read this last year and found it useful when I was getting re-started with NetGalley (I really didn't know what I was doing when I first tried it about 8 yrs ago).
Finalising this feedback so I can remove it from my give feedback queue.

This book was a helpful introduction to reviewing books and had many good tips and tricks for writing a review.

This has been updated so I'm getting it out of my queue! I liked having this a lot. I'm making it longer than 100 characters.
