NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit
Tips on writing book reviews, using social media for reviewing books and videos, blogging and strategizing for getting your reviews done are some of the topics of this toolkit.
Advice is shared on writing your bio-update it frequently-deciding on what type of reviewer you are, and the importance of your feedback ratio to publishers- keep it at least at 80%.
I highly recommend this for all reviewers, new and seasoned. The toolkit also covers topics new to me: Booktube, Booktok, Bookstagram and hashtag tips.
My thanks to #NetGalley for this helpful Toolkit.

Helpful with the tool to be a good reviewer for books and those authors to help them out. I like this kind of stuff to help me with things.

this was good quick and short guide for anyone's who is new here and to know about what's expected from them on the reviews, blogs and social media accounts

This was a very useful toolkit if you are kind of new to this world and don't really know where to start. It was short and to the point and I believe that the tools that they offer can come in handy any time!

A great guide to help those who are new to reviewing. It gives a good guide on what is expected. It also has a lot of ideas for social media too.

This toolkit is quite short, but contains all the information you need to start reviewing on NetgGalley and set up your bookish blog. I didn’t find many useful things for myself, but only because I’ve been on bookish social media for over a year now and am not new to NetGalley either. Great if you’re only starting though!

A quick but useful read. I think it's more valuable to new members or those setting up social media platforms than anyone who is already established. However, everyone could pick up a tip or two.
Thanks NetGalley.

A really useful guide for making the most of NetGalley - lots of hints and tips that I will be using!

Overall a very helpful and informative read! I found lots of helpful tips for starting and sustaining a successful review account, though I found most of it centered on sites that I myself don't utilize as much. In the future, when revising this, I'd like more about book blogging and Goodreads in general, as I feel that is still one of the more primary ways people review books nowadays. It might be pertinent to mention other book reviewing apps like Storygraph as well!

From Content Planning Tips to BookTube 101 - NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit goes above and beyond.
Becoming a necessary resource for new reviewers and an excelente refresher to those with more experience.
Straightforward and easy-read, this quick guide encompasses a myriad of information in easy to digest bullet points.

The tips in this book really helped me understand some of the new trends. The suggested apps and steps to follow where helpful and easy to follow. Thanks for a starting place.

This was super helpful but I did wish it included more about what to put in your profile description for NetGalley.

Netgalley's toolkit to help reviewers get started was short, simple and to the point. Just what I needed.

Great starter kit and a good refresher for the veterans!
I think it will be a great reference guide for planning out everyone's book reviews and sharing them

Fantastic resource and one that all newcomers to Netgalley should read.
Covers a lot of useful information - highly recommended.

Such a helpful toolkit! This had so much good information for tik tok, instagram, and blogs. Will definitely be taking away some advice from this. It made me so excited to get posting about books.

What an incredibly helpful and comprehensive guide! I'm a long time #bookstagrammer but took a step back from the space last year and am now getting back into it. This guide was full of helpful reminders and new to me tips about how to engage, create, and advocate for books. It really motivated me to start creating content and sharing about the books that I love!

This is an extremely helpful guide and reference book for those like me who are fairly new to NetHalley and bookish social media in general. I'm sure it's a book I will refer to again and again! Great idea!

This kit is filled with simple yet insightful tips on topics like polishing up your NetGalley profile, refining your book reviews, and promoting them on social media. Even though much of it isn’t new for me, since I’m an experienced reviewer who’s been hosting his own blog since the end of 2018 and his own podcast since March of 2021, I appreciated what it had to offer nonetheless. However, I’ve recently gotten involved in Bookstagram and have been trying to figure it out, so the kit’s Bookstgram tips were helpful in that sense. Make sure you check this out if you’re looking to fine-tune your own book reviews.
